Message 'Media pending' on CC 2015.13

Updated for first 2015.3 (10.3) and oh dear. It is slow and buggy.

Whenever I double click on an item in the bin, we need to think for a few seconds (sometimes more) and I get the dreaded "Media Pending" message. On a project I was working on the previous version of first, what didn't - loading clips instantly.

It stops also when you simply press the SPACE/reading on the timeline, there a pause of 2 seconds while he thinks reading the timeline.  It is so boring. What you broke Adobe?

I: deleted my preferences files, delete the cache of any media, media cache database and it makes no difference.   My video files are AVCHD. MTS files.

If anyone has any suggestions...?

Thank you.

Oh... I think I solved my problem. I noticed someone posted something on V10.4 - he moved not for me there was a update out!   Upgrade to the latest version, blew my cache/database media again, and it seems to be back to work normally. Some bug in the previous version!

  • questions - dvd has error message 'media Meanwhile' displayed

with suite cs5.5.  I created the dvd in cs5.1 yet.  The dvd has been created and when he looks, there are 8 seconds where the error message 'media Meanwhile' are perceived.  The dvd continues to play as if nothing had happened.  The audio played very well, even during the display of error messages.  So I check the chronology of the creation, the 'media pending' error does not appear.   The scene is superb in the first. But now that it is transcoded in encore, it appears not in yet, but again, this is after it is transcoded.  So what happened?  The video is 2 hours long. I look for this error message that might occur at random is not going to happen.

    Angela

    Hi Angela,.

The 'Media pending' message certainly looks like it's the chronology of the first, so there is no "error" with the current DVD or creation - still can only burn the content planned for it. Can be exported in again until all the clips in the first were made for example of loading. As Kevin says, export of first place. Use the file > export > Media and choose "MPEG-2 DVD' as FORMAT and choose a preset such as"NTSC DV Widescreen"or what is best for the video (we do not know your type of video source).

This will create .wav and .m2v video, audio and all clips simply import the two 'chronology as"again, and author. Audio allows you to convert to Dolby AC-3, the video should not transcode. Note that the media must be able to adapt the DVD to avoid transcoding, so you will need to adjust the speed of TRANSMISSION before encoding according to the duration of the program. For 2 hours, set 4.5, VBR 2 pass recommended.

  • Equium L10-300 - message "media test failure".

    Hello

I'm asking on behalf of a friend. They recently, accidentally had a spill of liquid on the keyboard of their laptop Equium L10-300 which resulted in the message "media test failure" appearing on the screen and makes it so the laptop unusable. Apparently when the liquid was split open CD-ROM drive (coincidence?), while the player also "clicky" sounds when the case he pressed.

Is their machine completely buggered now or maybe just the hard drive / liquid obtained in the drive? Are there recommendations for when such an incident occurs or just let it dry out and hope for the best?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello Michael

The liquid spited in Notepad is the worst thing that can happen.

    > Is their machine completely buggered now or maybe just the hard drive / liquid obtained in the drive? Are there recommendations for when such an incident occurs or just let it dry out and hope for the best?

Why hard drive? I fear that the defective mainborad may be responsible for this message (IDE controller). Boyfriend sorry but it is just a recommendation, contact the service and let check the laptop.

  • Delay during playback when switching between sequences (media pending)

    Hello guys,.
I am increasingly frustrated with first CC lately.

I am so under CC on a desktop PC. Basic elements: Asus X - 79 Deluxe, Intel i7 4930 K, 32 GB ram, Geforce Titan.

OS (Win 8.1) and CC are running on an SSD. Images is on internal 7200 RPM HHDs.

All other software (for most Davinci and Red movies) work perfectly, fast, no crash what-so-ever. So I thought that the system worked very well. But the first is a nightmare and I'm trying to figure out where she can come.

Some problems appeared recently on the latest version, and I have not in the past.

First of all, I faced a huge problem when opening simply clips in the project window in the Source drive. I was usually a 30 seconds 'Media pending' every time. When you work with files 1000 +, it was simply impossible to work. Oddly enough, I found a trick: when the first clip of the opening, I have this question pending Media, but (this is where it gets funny), if I do not play the clip, just stay on the first image and opened a second immediately, then the second he wouldn't issue pending media. As long as I stayed on frame 1 of each clip, I could open the following without any problem. Then, once I browse these "open first" clip, they would play fine, without delay. But once again, if I went a little further and opened a new clip (not was previously opened), I have to go through 30 seconds of waiting media again. F * boring. But, I just had to open all the clips before you start editing, and then it would work.

But now, I have a very similar problem when I edit more on. Especially if I have several sequences, whenever I have switch from one sequence to another, it would take several seconds before the video (on the drive program) would appear. Most of the time, the player stays black, but a few times, I got the screen media on hold again.

Then, once these data are transmitted, the reading is in every sense. The most common problem is that the video playback, but if I press the stop, the stop of the cursor on the timeline (the UI reacts to what I do), but the video continues to play... and I can press stop like a maniac, he stops playing like 20 seconds later... The user interface reacts again, I can navigate the menus etc... but just video continues to play. I have to wait a few seconds before you can start working again.

I tried a lot of things: change the images on another disk, updating video drivers. I suspect that it is related to a relatively new cause of the function, that I never had these problems on previous creations (the 2014.2 of the pre version). But now, I just missed the deadline of a client today because the program has been so slow. You can imagine that I feel a little stressed.
Let me know if you've been through things like this before, or if you had an idea where it may come, I would greatly appreciate your help!

    Thank you very much!

    Cédric

Hey guys, I just come to take stock of my situation in case it might help other people.
I have found little to chance, but I started using CC to create my offline instead of RedCine-X files. It is not a perfect solution, because they has some options that I used in RCX I did not cc.
But basically, what I did is:

-import all original R3D files in first. If I try to import them directly into Media Encoder, it breaks down for some reason any. But in the first it works, you must go to your folder of images and looking for file 001.R3D (cause when the files are too big/long RED them divided in XXXX001. R3D, XXXX002. R3D and first few duplicates in deadlines, as well as the 001.R3D are useful)

    - then in the project window, I select all and export, which sends to the Media Encoder without crashing

-a from there, I create exactly the same format that I used to do in RCX, so DNxHD 36 in a containing MXF.

and for some reason any, once I have import in first CC, these files do not have the problems that the MXFs had when they came to RCX: no delay, no current media * etc...
    so for now it works...

  • No video in the monitor of the program - WARNING "Media pending".

I use first Pro CC v8.0 on Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.1.  The last time that I had worked on this project, while I was still on Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5, I had no such problem.  Not sure if it's related to that or not.  In the right top box video, the display shows just "media pending."  I can click on the video bar itself and it is displayed in the upper medium video and plays.  I know that the files are linked.  Render as green in this sequence shows, but are red and yellow in another while having the same problems.

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Reason: need a better title

I finally found another discussion with a related issue.  They said that I have to cut my preferences, or something like that, but the simple solution was to copy the files on the timeline and paste them into a new sequence.  I did and it works in the new sequence.

  • Media pending forever

Just moved a drive to another computer and then plugged in just to get back on the computer on which he had been on, my Premiere Pro CC - one mac computer running Lion 10.7.5.

When I open the project I had worked on, most times just say 'media pending '. Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Ron

He did not move. Especially on delays, there is no images, but I was able to watch individual clips in the browser.

I called Adobe tech support and (for the second time in a week), they were very helpful and took control of my machine. They did some magic by exporting then import XML of a sequence, and that seemed to connect again properly help files. He also allowed the media cache, which he recommended that do first if this happens again.

  • 1 second media pending, random occur

CS5 on Win7 64 bit, 6.4 GB of RAM reserved for CS5, Quad Core 2.4, all the data on the internal HDD, all Cachefiles and other data in Projectfolders.

    1440 x 1080 (1.3333) project, 25 fps, PAL, 48000 Hz, 1.5hours duration, 69 different objects, the largest GB 9.2, m2ts, mp3, wav, mpeg

    I exported the movie with CS5 Mediaencoder in PAL, 1280 x 720, 25 frames per second, quality 4.0, MPEG, 384Kbit/s, 48 kHz, 16 bit, stereo, VBR, 1-pass, min. 4.00, but 10.00, Max 18.50 Mbps

Randomly 'Media pending' appears for one second in the exported file is perfect apart from that. They do not appear in the editor first however. The preview has never media waiting screens.

I discovered, however, they appear especially when he jumps a small object for large items. I used 4 cameras which was on a tripod to record line in the Strait and the scene from above. so, if I use one of the other cameras to cover the part where "Media pending" occurs, then it gets only moved up to the point where I stopped that covers it, but once again only for a second, even if it is the same object later.

    solutions anyone?

    Philipp

  • The xbox 360 Media Player no longer plays music after that I upgraded my CPU. Error message: media sharing service has been terminated

Original title: the xbox 360 Media Player plays more music after I upgraded my CPU

I have Vista 64 SP2.  The service runs for 5 seconds and then I get the message that she stopped. He was works well for years (my Xbox 360 sharing), I'm guessing he stopped a few weeks ago after I put in a slightly faster processor. I watched a some tech posted and tried to run the program which seeks the corrupted system files, but the only files that it could not pay had to do with the sidebar Windows. I have removed and put back my media extender, I thought that it worked because I've seen (from my xbox) miniature images, videos and music counting upward, as they have been added and I could see them. But if I take one he freezes for a few seconds and then says the media sharing service took end (or something like that). Then, I go to my PC and see that it stops. I can restart, but it only lasts for 5 to 10 seconds.

I also say a post about deleting files in C:\Program Data\Microsoft\DRM, but I have all the files in there. Just a server folder empty.

    Hello

Step 1: Check if the problem persists in the clean boot state.

From your computer by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so that you can determine if a background program is interfering with your game or program. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot".

    Reference:
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:

    1. click on start and then click Run.
    2. type msconfig and click OK.

The System Configuration Utility dialog box appears.

    3. click on the tab general, click Normal Startup - load all services and device drivers and then click OK.
    4. When prompted, click on restart to restart the computer.

Step 2: Also, look for error messages in the event viewer. If you find error messages after return the exact error message so that we can help you better.

Measures to check the application event log:

    a. Click Start.
    (b) in the search box type eventvwr.msc, and then on enter.
    c. now, click Application in the event viewer (local).
    d. now, looking for event log on the right side of the event viewer window.

  • Cannot fax in Win 7 - getting the message media is write protected

I can't fax anything to Win 7 Professional. Whenever I click on send, I get a message that the media is write protected.  I have faxed successfully in the past. I tried to many different docs, that nothing does, not even a regular cover page. Can anyone suggest something to help?

    Hello

Try these steps and see if that fixes the problem:

    Step 1:

    1. Click Start and type regedit into the search box start and press ENTER.
    2. navigate to the location
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Fax
    3. in the right pane click "ArchiveFolder."
    4. check that content is "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\WindowsNT\MSFax".
    5. If this isn't the case, then change it.

IMPORTANT: This method contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you change the registry
incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then, you can
restore the registry if a problem occurs. For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, click the following link:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/back-up-the-registry

    Step 2:
    a. go to start and type in windows fax and scan and press ENTER.
    b. in Windows Fax & Scan switch to Fax view (View menu > go > view Fax).
    c. in the Tools menu go to accounts of fax.
    d. Select your account and click on delete.
    e. now click on add and select Connect to a fax modem.
    f. leave the default name and click Next.
    g. choose an option, how to manage incoming faxes and then click ok.
