Message - & quot; There is no installed subtitle. Please install a few legends to continue. & quot; by clicking on the button "registration".

When I perform the following steps, Captivate displays this message: "there is no installed subtitle. Please install a few legends to continue. »-
1 slot "project new Record ', click on ' record or create a new project". " The dialog box"options of the new project"is displayed.
2. under 'Software Simulation', click on 'Custom size' and click on the OK"" button.
3. click on "Save".

«In addition, the list "Default values saving" tab "recording Options" dialog 'Options check' does not contain any entry (like, blue Adobe and so on).» By clicking on the "Edit settings" button next to the 'Default recording' list, I find no entry in the "Legend of text", "Success legend", "Failure Caption" or list 'Hint caption' in the dialog 'default recording '!

Could you please help me solve this problem?

Hi catchdebarshi

Wow... I never heard of that happening. Captivate work was fine and suddenly stopped? If so, what has changed?

If this was happening to me, I guess it would be resolved as follows:

Open Windows Explorer from pop and look where Captivate is installed. Depending on the version, you can find at the following locations:

Version 1:
C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Captivate

Version 2:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 2

Version 3:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 3

In each of the locations, you will find a Gallery folder, followed by a record of legends. I guess something set to hurt this folder. Again, the locations would be:

Version 1:
C:\Program Files\Macromedia\Captivate\Gallery\Captions

Version 2:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 2\Gallery\Captions

Version 3:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 3\Gallery\Captions

Assuming that the file is missing, maybe one inadvertently and drag in Explorer Windows reinstalled it. If you do not see this folder, try to perform a generic search for the files named *. FCM. Assuming that they were simply displaced, it must locate where they are currently living. Once you find them, copy them to the Gallery\Captions folder where Captivate expects to find them and all should be well again in good soil.

Assuming that you are not able to find, I suppose that reinstall Captivate are to be considered.

See you soon... Rick
