  Hello
  I bought the Blackberry (SQW100-1) passport in April 2015. Since then, I experienced some problems,

  1: shaking screen problem.

  2: If composing an email through hub, the cursor flashes and cannot use the word prediction.
  3: sometimes locking screen does not soon appear.
  4: lag in lock screen notifications.
  5; Shift of the camera.
  6: even if I hide BBM, facebook & twitter contacts in the contacts application, it does not hide.
  7: recently my passport for Blackberry is freezing, or auto shutdown, because I have to press and hold the power button for more than 5 seconds to restart the Blackberry and it's so frustrating and unreliable, what can be the cause for it?

  This particular version of the operating system is sadly known to have a lot of bugs, which most have since been corrected. But, to take advantage of these fixes, you must update your operating system.

• Message text blackBerry Smartphones icon does not disappear and the message is empty

  I (now 2) incoming text messages icons on my screen that won't go away.  The messages are of the same person.  When I opened the message there is no text, but when I close it, the icon remains as if I did not open the message.  I deleted this person as a text contact conversation and others with her, from my phone and put his back as a contact.  I turned the phone market.

  I tried to delete the message by clicking on the screen of the app and tapping text messages and delete the empty message from there.  I went in the messages folder after the message and is not here, but still on the screen "unread".

  Try these options:
  The main Messages folder and select today's date, click on the menu button and then select Mark prior opened.
  * Hard Reset BlackBerry now ALT CAP (right Shift key) and DEL (or with the BlackBerry power, remove the battery and reinsert the battery)
  Messages > saved Messages
  Messages > view folders, check each folder (calls, SMS and MMS, and boxes, saved missed boxes, browser, phone logs etc.)
  * Scroll at the top of the folder, on the title menu, click or tap to MARK PRIOR OPEN date
  Change your theme and see if it persists and return to your desired theme. (Options > theme > select.)
  * Connect to Desktop Manager > backup/restore > advanced. On the right pane is the list of the data on your device. Scroll to the e-mail highlighted messages database, and then below, select TRANSPARENT. This will clear your system of all messages.
  * Clean and reload your OS.

  Hey... Good news!  I learned to read and follow the simple instructions!

  If you go to the Messages folder and then press ALT and a/s /? It will take you to your Inbox after a short delay.

  Had the same problem.  You must have changed the font size of your device to a point 10 or above fonts.  If you set it to original font size which is 8, it works perfectly again.  IHAVE that mine now set at 9 and it the text field scrolls correctly now.  It must be a bug in Blackberry software so if you read these messages please fix it as I'd rather watch 10-point font.

  Three of the icons seem to be not working do not.

  Click other thing than Messages, text Messages and desktop and they open.  Click on any one of those three mentioned above and nothing.  In fact, the device seems to hang - keyboard locks, and the fact the trackpad.  The only way is to hit the end/power key, and then you have full function of the device.  I tried even one of the keys shown button until the context menu appears and then attempt to 'cast', and the same thing happens.  The only way for a message (for example) is to go to the Notification bar, click it, and then click the specific message.  I did, and I tried to come to the "side door" by pressing the button Menu, then scroll to the display folder, then Inbox (for example) as fast as you can click, you made a comeback.

  Any ideas?

  have you tried a hard reset again by doing a battery pull?  the end / power key it stops, but it looks like you need to do a hard reset.

  1. There is no access bridge apps or files at this time. The bridge is implemented as a secure area to access resources on a BlackBerry smartphone, and we do not know when (if ever) RIM provide APIs for these services. Currently, the bridge is very restrictive by design. For example, attachments are downloaded on the smartphone and the PlayBook user cannot open them unless the bridge connection is open. You can't even copy text from an application open and paste into an application non-pont. You need access to a web mail service to send emails of PlayBook.

  2. the bridge is not available on the Simulator and I doubt if she will ever be. See point 1 above.

• BlackBerry Passport wifi connection problem after password change

  I changed the password on a Wi - Fi device and since then could not connect my passport to this access point. Have you tried the wps process also without success.

  Thought maybe I could delete the old profile registered, restart and after finding the unit once again, perhaps that would accept the new password.

  I don't see how to remove the original profile.  When trying to update the password, get a message that the profile cannot be added.

• BlackBerry Passport Crash Help!

  Took my passport to sit all night on the loading dock to check your e-mail. Email removed I read, but the kept item reappear. ? Then restarted it. However the hub is not does not come to the top. It hub continues to display the message "preparing BlackBerry Hub." So I rebooted again but still the same problem with the hub. Also all my desktop files have disappeared and all my app icons are scattered on several pages of office. And none of the Android apps will bootup.

  I am running the latest version of BB10 for the Passport.

  Just about to reinstall the OS and decided to check it out once more and here's everything worked again. It seems 'did his thing' for 4 hours and now seems OK, except for the missing app icon files.

  but managed to get the wifi works, bro called technology guy... he reset the router and changed a few settings not sure what, but the wifi on the phone working perfectely, have no limited connection message arise more... =)
