• See the HP Message Center, a message, how to recover?

  I use a new iMac and the new printer HP Photosmart Plus.  The center of HP's Message in the watch Dock icon I have a message, but I can't access the message.  I clicked on it, double-click on it and tried the same thing in the Finder window.  I can't find anything in the user manual on the subject. So, how can I get the message?

  It may be related to a message that displayed on my desktop on my black ink screen downstairs. I closed the window and kept using the printer.  I have more available ink, but am waiting for printing to get too light before I have replace the cartridge.  I guess the message indicator can stay on until I have replace the cartridge.  Anyone know if this is true?

  The center of HP's Message may be bug in Snow Leopard. The behavior I see is that the Message Center icon is marked in the Doc with the messages, but it does not open when you click on it. If I reboot (shades of Windows), I can open the center of messages once and then returned to the previous behavior until I restart again.

  I think I just find a workaround. Right-click on the message center in the Doc and select Exit. The Message Center icon will remain in the Doc, but the message indicator, if any, will disappear. Now, the message center opens when you click the icon. This Quit selection must be repeated whenever you want to open the message center.

• I have a problem with my windows firewall. My configuration does not allow exceptions but IHA MESSAGE CENTER keeps popping up as a permitted exception

  In the control panel under general firewall is on and no exceptions are allowed. On the exception tab, none are selected. Anytime I can go to the control panel and see the message center by virtue of the exception and clicked IHA to be admitted as an exception. I turn it off and even remove it by deleting. I am the only user of this computer. I run MSE daily full scan at least once a week - onecare safety scanner scans are clean. It comes to message center pop in my exceptions allowed under Firewall several times per day. I think it has to do with Verizon, but am not sure. Anyway can someone tell me what it is and why and how can it appears under an exception allowed when I'm not allowing it? Thank you

• HP Message Center question/properly installed cartridges not immediately recognized 564XL

  I have a HP Photosmart eStation c510 series printer that I bought in October 2011. The model name is CQ140A. I also own an iMac running OS 10.7.2. Lately, I have not received all of the HP Message Center alerts, and I don't nor do not forget to turn off the center of HP's Message. Help, please.

  In addition, the last two times I installed the cartridges, the Zeen nor the HP utility "found" them as soon as I close the cartridge access door, and, even if the cartridge is correctly installed, I get an error message indicating a cartridge missing or broken.   Today, for some reason any my storm stopped letting me see my messages folder, text message or email to landscape view.  I was able to view the landscape for the mails this morning, but not when I'm home from work today.  To make it even more weird, if I'm going to call and say I want to write a text message, this text is displayed in landscape mode.  If this person texts me back well and I hit answer, he returned to portrait view.  Because I can't get the full keyboard in landscape mode, it's really, really boring.

  It will easily pass landscape view in the home screen and in a web browser and almost never program but email and the message center.

  I can even start at the sight of the landscape in one program and switch Center by e-mail or messaging, and he'll be back pack in portrait mode without changing the device.

  I have turned the unit on and off and that did not help.

  This looks like one of the many problems that are clarified by a hard reboot ("power off" selection is a soft reboot). With the machine running, remove the back cover and pull the battery. Wait a minute or two and reinsert the battery and replace the cover. Switch on the device and wait patiently through the long long reboot process long (perhaps as long as 10 minutes). See if the problem is cleared up. Like all computing devices, a normal reboot is a healthy thing (and there is a thread in this forum recommends doing this every four days).

  Thanks cygnus, for all your efforts. I managed to finally find the place to change it. In the case of messages, you must go to the menu, options, preferences, go to the network tab, select manual for network configurations, click Edit, and then in the next screen, the first option is to change the message center number.   To send an SMS message, just open your main messages folder > compose SMS.

• I can only connect to the Internet in safe mode

  I tried - virus checks, HijackThis, disabling services and startup.  I have three tabs for House (CNN, Yahoo and Gmail).  Gmail connects but I can't access any other sites.  Outlook 2007 connects to the MS Exchange Server.  Everything has been fine for years and then suddenly it happened.  I have excluded router and other connection issues.

  I have a Lenovo Thinkpad T300, under XP SP3.

• Lost some of Lenovo taskbar toolbars

  On a new Lenovo T440, I updated the Message Center Plus software with wireless drivers, and I lost the taskbar toolbars.

  'Lenovo Solution Center' and 'dial-up connections.

  Y at - it means to restore these 2 toolbars in the taskbar please?

  Please note that reinstalling software did not have them reappear.

  What versions of MCP, LSC and dial-up connections you have installed?

  The last MCP is 3.3. published 10/13.2104

  Access Connection 6.23 published 23/09/2014.

  LSC published on 15/09/2014 2.6.001. It could auto update to the LSC 2.7.003 16/10/2014 via update auto only.

  Given that your have a new computer, the installation of the factory installed probably old version of the software above.

  Changes have been made within CSL months of change ICON Interface used in the taskbar.

  This caused old version MCP to declare 20 000 + messages available.  MCP 3.3 was released on 13/10/2014 to correct this problem is to say, MCP old and new LSC (icon stuff) has a problem.

  If MCP 3.3 (or MORE) is installed, uninstall it for now.  See if the problem clears up.

  This type of machine and a T440 model are you using? What operating system?

• BlackBerry Smartphones Cant find number of Center message on BlackBerry 9530

  I need help... im frustrated by the minute. my screen cracked and I sent my camera to set, I came back and I can't send text messages (but I can receive them).

  I am told that I have to change my service center number (and I was provided with the number but I look everywhere in the phone to the message centre number option and can't seem to find it.) I keep seeing messages saying "on your device: Options > SMS > Service Center." but "service center" does not appear when I go to options > SMS text.   On your BlackBerry, close the gree compose key and enter # 000000 and press the Green dial key again. You should get the screen change the CDMA Service.

  The first line will be your phone number.

  The second line (IMSI_S) should be your service center and if not, enter the number it and save.

• Weird blackBerry Smartphones Notification message

  Hello

  I was hoping that someone could help me because my knowledge of technology is limited and I have no idea what that means!

  I went to check my Blackberry 9300 "BOLD" today for all messages and I got this message from weird notification on the home screen saying 'look out!' with the only option is to press ok.  The notification was not a text message any and had something to do with the blackberry.

  I pressed ok not knowing what on earth it could be, and nothing has changed!  I checked my list of tasks, my calendar, my text, my message center messages and I couldn't find anything that would cause to her!

  I have recently install two applications of London 2012 Olympic Games on my phone, so I don't know if they have something to do with the Weird message.

  Could someone help me please?  My phone has a virus of some kind?

  Your phone does not have a virus.  I don't know what could have caused this message but rest assured, you're safe in respect to have a virus.

  Uninstall your two applications would be a good start.  If you get any other notifications of suspicious nature, reinstall one of them.  If after a day or two, you see anything strange, reinstall the other.

  I hate having my email in the message center so I removed it. The only other option is to add text that I already have a text message on the cover of the blackberry. So, how can I add my call logs? I don't know what else to add, in addition to that, if this is not possible. Thank you!

  Please select the green button and you will get all the newspapers call out there & now press Menu (sign of BB) > Option > Call logging

  Here, select all calls. Exit and save.

  Put the computer in check and clean boot.

  To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.
