While using the disk utility I see that the "Apple Sparsebundle disk image Media" has a Master Boot Record Partition map and volume 'Apple spars' says it's a physical Volume outside of MS-DOS (FAT). It is even possible to format a volume in this way - keeping the files but by changing the file system? -If Yes, that is what is causing me the problem - and how I change it back? Or do I have to erase all my backups and start from scratch?

  OK, I'll try to be as clear as possible... I am running Windows 8.1 and its works perfectly. I've been using Skype in desktop mode and its been working perfectly as well. Today, I decided to install Droidcam. Since that time my Skype does not start. So I decided to uninstall Droidcam, and throughout this process Skype updated, I guess for later. But now it will not charge upward, it only when I click the done icon crash. What I see is a white icon to the bottom of the clock, but whenever I go over it the pouts, it disappears. And I check the task, nothing to do with Skype Manager there. And I tried to install the old version of Skype... doesn't get better. Its really frustrating and a bit worrying as since I did interviews via Skype. But now I can not do. So please, I need help if possible.

  OK, I rebooted twice now, and I uninstalled Skype and re-installed. Same thing is happening. It loads up for a microsecond, and then closes. The white icon down by the clock. • Skype with webcam Logitec C615

  I just made a call for the first time using Skype with a webcam Logited C615. I was able to activate the audio output with the contact using Skype audio/video preference settings. I can't activate my outgoing video because the camera selection button is grayed out. I get audio and video very well. I can see what should be my out video right in the window of logitec.

  Any help much appreciated.

  I found the problem. Once I left the Logitec software, I was able to select the C615 webcam for video.

  Hey I seem to have a problem for months, I don't know if it of a known issue or not, but some friends have that mine have told me that I'm still registered on Skype, even though I have disconnect manually. Sometimes I'm quite 'Skype' and the program quits or I will 'disconnect' and then 'leave Skype"if Skype isn't running. Skype never also told me who signed, I also noticed that some of my contacts are signed and I'll call or their cat... or text them asking if their signed on which we will say no.

  I'm updated to Skype 6.21.0.104 (it would be annoying to go 'invisible' every time using Skype and useless)

• Nothing happens when I click on Skype icon

• Skype cannot access the sound card

• Annoying automatic spell checking!

  How to close spell that keeps change correctly the words spelled and hurt so much? Levant alone and let me go back and rest myself spelling. I was more going back to reset the changes than the check spelling automatically mess up time. I would be easier to fix the errors manually. Arrrrgh I don't like not all required automations.   Example, I indexed " leave it" in one word, and you can see the results above. Also rest instead of reset.

  Go to system preferences/keyboard/text and uncheck automatically correct spelling. Then, depending on the application, go to the Edit menu/spelling and grammar and uncheck automatically here.
