MIC not working not not chatting in Gtalk

Hi all

I am facing problem with microphone while discussing in Gtalk. I don't have any problems while chatting in yahoo messenger and all. I am able to hear what the guy talking on the other side, but he is not able to hear me. Please help me, I mean in Internet the last 2 days, but I wasn't able to find anything.

I know that the issue is not with Microphone, because if I'm able to chat in Yahoo messenger of course the microphone has no problem. If it's a question of settings also I am not able to understand. I tried to fix the Microphone as a default value, but still no change.

Hope someone can help me.

    Hello

Internal microphone is a part of the webcam.

I recommend reinstall the webcam software too.

In addition, you must go to-> sound and audio devices control panel and check the recording tab.
Remember that the sound card has been chosen and that internal microphone is available.

In addition you can find a Realtek HD audio manager in Control Panel as well. There you should be able to test the microphone.

  • MIC not working not not with voice recognition or Siri in texting

iPhone 6 - 9.2.1 firmware - the mic input does not provide a valid signal to Siri, or dictation in the Messages. It * is * work very well for the new application of musical note, which would indicate that the equipment is not broken.

In Siri or Messages, the erratic noise signal indicator shows, while in fact, there is no entry and do not change or respond when it * is * talk.

It still does not. Reset all settings, change 9.3.1 update... No..  Microphone only works in the voice and music notes. Does not work in the Siri, Messages or Google.  One thing to note is that it works with the Apple ear buds mic.   You would think that there must be a problem with the hardware with the microphone, but the microphone * fact * works in voice memos or notes of music... so that the theory does not take place.

  • MIC not working not not on Equium U400

I have a laptop Equium U400 and I was never able to get the microphone working properly. I'm running Vista 32 bit that was installed initially.

The problem is that when you try to use Skype and using the call of the laboratory, the microphone does not pick up anything and Skype says it is very quiet.

Then, I went to the microphone settings in Vista and put the volume to 100% and boost to + 20, but once more quiet, but if crank you the volume up you can hear the slightest noise. Crank the gain up to + 40 and you get all kinds of noise. I checked Skype volume settings and set it to 100% but no joy.

I tried to reinstall the drivers for the webcam and sound using the drivers on the toshiba site, but nothing has changed.

I wonder if anyone else has had problems or if anyone knows what is likely to be wrong, or my microphone might be broken?

    Hello

The internal mic belongs to the internal webcam.
The microphone settings can be changes in the software of the webcam.

It's why start the camera wizard got to settings-> Audio tab and set the audio volume to max.

    See you soon

  • MIC not working not not DV9500

I have a HP Pavilion dv9500 CTO. It is built with Vista when I updated to Windows 7 (32 bit) when it was released.

I have since then not needed my computers microphone until recently. I use Skype for various purposes. I just found out that the microphones (there are two on each side of the webcam) do not work. I remember their work in games with voice chat when I am running vista.

Since upgrading to Windows 7, I made sure all my drivers are correct and functional.  I tried to upgrade and downgrade my Realtek HD Audio Drivers to operate.

It seems that the microphones have an entry in the system since the sound indicators for each appear to move slowly but do not respond to my voice or loud noises around them. I think that I'd work for a minute or two and then something happened and they have not worked since.

Can I use a headset usb on the system and it works like a charm. I have not tried but seizes a microphone in the microphone jack, because I've not owned a plug in microphone since the beginning of the 2000s

If there are ideas on how get the microphones to work please don't hesitate no help!

    Thank you

    Hello:

If you let Windows install the audio driver, it is sometimes incomplete - which means that it works speakers, but sometimes other components such the microphone will not work.

I have a desktop HP dc7600 PC business. When it was XP, internal PC speaker worked. When I upgraded to W7, if I connected speakers, they worked.  However, if I unplugged the speakers, internal PC speaker did not work. I worried really, except that I don't like when things do not work as it is supposed to.

So I visited the Realtek site and downloaded the latest driver W7 in time and he fixed the internal speaker, not to work.

According to the specifications of the system for your laptop, you have the HD Realtek audio chip, correct?

If so, try to download and install the latest Realtek HD audio driver from the Realtek site directly.

Accept the agreement, download and install the driver of first or second on the list depending on what version of bit to W7 you have installed.

  • DV9715nr mic not working not not in Win7

Just clean installed Win 7 Ultimate x 64, built in mic is more work. In Control Panel > Sound > recording tab, device listed is the Microphone (High definition audio device - not connected), says he uses the 3.5 mm jack. Right of the mouse clicked, show disabled devices is checked.

I plugged in a microphone, and it seems to work, even if the sound level bar seems weak.

Where can I get a driver that makes the microphone integrated into the work? I won't go back to Vista, I have to get this to work.

    Thanks in advance...

The description of the file say Vista 32/64-bit should be ok. Many HP SP are 32/64 bit. Have you tried the other Conexant below the Realtek?

  • TouchSmart 300-1122: Mic Jack works do not (a little)

    Product #: BK338AA-ABA

Okay, so the question here. I'll try to include some pictures too. So, on the left side of my computer, it has a headphone jack and microphone jack.

Low headphone plug works perfectly. I plug my TRS 3.5 mm headphones and they work. Just to show you that they are infact headphone 3.5 mm TRS:

I also have a microphone (which works on all other computers in the House), which is also a 3.5 mm TRS plug:

But when I plug in my microphone on taking online, I get whether audio. Is not same airship. Here is an example, with the MIC is plugged in (before ask you, yes I know my integrated is the default device, I use this show even when breath super hard directly into the microphone, without the audio is saved):

Now, before asking all these stuff, yes I did all the stuff of pilot. I have done this, done that, let windows install, downloaded the default value of HP.  If you have access to new drivers, shot my way, but of all my googiling, it seems that what I have is the best that there is (photo below).

Then, why is my say title (a bit)? Well, you know how to the microphones and speakers, they are a similar technology just goes different directions? Well I plugged my headphones in there, and I blew air in as hard as I could, and it actually only picked up. Don't get me wrong, it was EXTREMELY feigned (as it should be, since these are headphones being forced to act as a microphone), but nevertheless, I was able to actually record the audio from those. So for me, it means that this microphone jack has some features, but for some reason, my microphone doesn't work simply.

So my question to you, has taken all these information? Why my microphone is not working? Require a microphone powered? Require a jacks 3.5 mm JACK instead of the 3.5 mm standard? I can assure you the microphone works. I tried it on two other computers and got her nice and crispy. I tried to open my touchsmart, but all the wires seemed to be intact. In addition, given that the headphones were able to send some audio adds as further confirmation that the connections are secure.

If you have a look, I'm all ears. I hope that I gave you a good amount of info to work with.

OK, so update: I thought that one way or another, something must be damaged or something. The reason why I never noticed that this entire problem was earlier because I've always used him built in mic, but after continual complaints from slightly background hum and others (as is the case with built in microphones), I decided to buy a micro cheap for my computer. AFTE, in doing so, I then learned that the outlet is not functioning little matter what I do.

Anyway, the solution I found was to buy this Sabrent USB external adapter stereo sounds. So pretty, it is a small USB key with a sound card in that you plug in and the computer recognizes it. It costs around $7-$14 (there are other alternatives if you don't want to buy the one I listed). Simple as pie. So I plugged it, with the microphone into the mic jack. I changed some settings, because when you plug everything in, he wants to replace both your microphone AND your audio output. Which is ok, you can plug your headphones or speakers, but I wanted my computer headset, jack/speakers to work instead. Just so go into the sound settings and restore the default value for your computer speakers. (photo below) While elsewhere, you can always connect your headset on your computer and get the audio, or just listen to out of the enclosure built into the touchsmart computer.

Then in the mic tab, I have the USB set as my default microphone rather than integrated like you can see on the picture below.

If the USB is responsible for all the purposes of mic. In case you're wondering what mic I use, this is the one: neewer mic

It is very cheap (even in this pack 2 it's like $5, if that $5 shipping, then maybe pair it with something else). Or if you have your own base micro little has no need power to make it work, just plug in the USB and bam you're good to go. Not the most ideal, of course, you do want to be able to solve the problem at its source, but given the difficulty has been to buy a cheap USB plug no game sound card that I could get on sale for $6 with shipping included, I'm happy.

I wanted just to update everyone to know that it was the best I could do. Thank you all.
