  A series of warning flashed ("effigy a shield with 4 - color") said Firefox has been diverted and infected by the virus and has 14 (?) Trojan and can not be erased until I register ($59 paid) to activate «Win 7 anti-virus 2011» Repeat to try to close and re-boot did not problem disappear.
  I paid $59 for 1 year at UltimateSpyware.com and it seems deleted everything which did not work - system "looks" OK but I don't see any signs for a program of that name.

• I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft, it's a scam

  A few hours earlier, I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft. TO NUMBER A BLOCKED (no caller ID).  Said that they were receiving messages from my computer it has been infected by a virus. I ran the two Windows Defender and Malwarebytes, and as MANY say that NOTHING malicious was detected.

  Please advise me how to proceed. I asked them to call back tomorrow.

  I think I have been scammed, I got a call from 360ETechnicalsupport.com their phone # is 760-429-2871, they said that I had a lot of mistakes on my comp. and I was likely to have a lot of viruses and malware, they called my cell # 11-11 and got me into a name the windows button, they said that they could take care of it and erase my comp. for errors. I have to pay them $165. a first payment of $85. which I did and pay the rest in installments.  I paid it through paypal.  This company is real.  They sent me a welcome letter say they said has been prepared jointly with Microsoft / Cisco and Mac. What should I do if it is a scam.
