Microsoft 6to #2 is not displayed in Device Manager
Support Microsoft says I had a problem with Microsoft 6to #2 and #3. They said he had to be reinstalled. I did everything they said to do and there is no Microsoft #2 6to or #3 any where in the device manager and I looked at everything carefully. How to install or reinstall if they are not on my computer. What I do and what are they? What should I do? Recently, yesterday, I upgraded my Firefox and Internet Explore. Was it something to do with it? Thanks, Vance
See the following article:

You said that the WLan card is not listed in Device Manager?
Did you check that exactly?Usually the WLan card must appear in Manager devices-> network adapters.
You don't see any yellow exclamation? But to be honest, this story sounds really amazing.

If so, the only thing you can try is to restore the factory deafult your OS (reinstall) and check to see if the network cards.

This means that the drivers are missing or that the disc is broken?

Its possible the drive has failed. Is this an internal or an external drive? In both cases, make sure that all cables are properly connected and functional, including the power cables. If its a USB external drive then try another USB port.
But, assuming that you tried to update the drivers (get the latest compatible drivers on the manufacturers for your brand/model/OS(32/64 bit) PC support site and install to see if that helps - first set a system restore point)) and then see if this MS article helps - https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/mats/cd_dvd_drive_problems?wa=wsignin1.0

What Microsoft has to do not display a list of folder sizes in the detail view? I want to just see my folders in the list view and know how big each folder is! Is this a lot to ask? Are you (MS) collusion with folder size software companies so that they can sell me something that should simply be in Details view? Is it because it could slow down my experience of 'Windows' that is not so great anyway.
I don't like what MS has to say. This is not a plea (or tip) for them to fix. I just want to know why they avoided (5 180 000 results according to Google) millions of requests for this feature Microsoft Users: why do you think that Microsoft has deliberately chosen to omit a column of 'folder size' seen in the window?

I'm having serious problems here. My CD/DVD-ROM drive is not detected and will not answer. I can ONLY open the drawer at the beginning of my computer laptop startup. The drive does not appear in my computer and the category of CD/DVD-ROM does not appear in Device Manager. Therefore, the "uninstall/reinstall" is impossible if the computer behaves as it has never been this drive now or never. Previously, I was able to use it as there was no problem, but someday, it's simply not there.

CD/dvd drive is not listed in Device Manager
my laptop is a hp pavillion entertainment pc dv6605us, running windows vista. the cd/dvd drive is not read / write any CD and it is not listed in Device Manager. I tried to fix this problem by using the microsoft fixit tool, but I'm still having the same problem. I checked the system registry and found no upperfilters and lowerfilters.
Please, how can I solve this problem?Hello
Step 1: Please do all the same underneath if you did some before as it is often the total process
which solves the problem.Try this - Panel - Device Manager - CD/DVD - double-click on the device - driver tab - click
Update the drivers (this will probably do nothing) - then RIGHT click the drive - UNINSTALL - REBOOT
This will refresh the default driver stack. Even if the reader does not appear to continue below.
Then, work your way through these - don't forget the drive might be bad, could be a loose cable or
slight corrosion on the contacts (usually for a laptop) and other issues.Your CD or DVD drive is missing or is not recognized by Windows or other programs

What should I try?
Thank you
