Microsoft certifies companies to do service?

I received a phone call an Windmac CRM employee who said that their company is certified by Microsoft to monitor the Windows Server and notify clients when there are problems. He said he had problems with my computer. I ended up buying the NAP (network access protection) and the update, duration of life transferable software, for $300. I have been scammed several times recently and want to ensure that Windmac CRM and what they're doing is legitimate. Can anyone help?

Microsoft does not certify firms, partners and even individuals (I'm a Microsoft Certified Professional, I went to school, did the test and obtained the certificate of it).

But this does not mean a person can call you and lie about it.  So never trust someone who calls you not solicited.  If you ask for it, it's probably a scam!

  • Error installing Microsoft NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 Setup program has detected that this computer does not meet the requirements to install this software

I need to install Microsoft NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1, as it is necessary to perform a Dell diagnostic Test, but I've been advised that: Setup has detected that this computer does not meet the requirements to install this software. Requirement: Windows install 3.1.

However, when I look at the download page of Windows Installer 3.1 is not actually as for XP with SP3. I tried anyway and: Setup has determined that the version of Service Pack for this system is newer than the update you are applying. There is no need to install this update. Well actually it is there...

Is there a way to get around this?

  • Why is Microsoft so lazy? No Service Pack 3 for Vista. No Service Pack 2 for Windows 7, but now don't want to buy Windows 8? No thanks.

I had to reinstall Vista last night after my computer started to report that there is no bootable devices found. It took most of the day to complete the fresh install. I had to download and install the Service Pack 1 and Service Pack 2, which took about an hour each. And then finally, Windows update started downloading another 115 separate updates. Who has 'more' of time to install.

Why Microsoft does not release a Service Pack 3 for Vista? Or better yet, why do they not release something like "Windows Vista: Final Edition" that you can buy and it just install and done with it.
Why a company that rakes in billions of dollars in software sales annually manage their software products at the end of life so sloppily?
Windows 8 is already gone gold and I have heard nothing about when will be released Windows 7 Service Pack 2. It seems that Microsoft always has an eye on the future, but never on the present. Always eager to make new sales but never the support of existing products.
When a product reaches a number of updates, a Service Pack must certainly be considered. And a final edition that integrates all product Service Packs must be taken into account. It would make life so much easier.

You can reinstall and reactivate on the same machine as many times as you want. You may need to reactivate by phone after the 5th time.

My sister has a problem with the automatic updates. He has offered 6 updates and she moved them, but next time, she turned on the computer, he was offered the same 6 updates again. She has set up 5 or 6 times now, but she is always offered the same 6 updates every time she turns on the computer.  She tried yesterday to go to the web site Microsoft Update and update his computer, but it runs into the same problem. Microsoft Updates installed updates to update, but after restarting the computer and try to update again, he was offered the same 6 updates.

I try to help fix and I need help.

I tried stopping the service automatic updates, delete the contents of the download folder, update the Microsoft Updates web site and then by restarting the service of updates without result. She also tried to remove the 4 updates, she could find in Add/Remove Programs, but also without result.

    Help, please.

Or you can open Internet Explorer (only) to http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971058 & run the difficulty in DEFAULT and modes then AGGRESSIVE and then restart. [1]

Note: Microsoft offers free support for security updates only. Since KB982524 KB982168 & NOT related to security updates, free support is NOT available for them.

  • Fix using Microsoft 50446: the user profile service service has no logon. User profile cannot be loaded.

About Microsoft fix 50446 found here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947215#letmefixit for the user profile Service error, I have three questions about it:

    1. what exactly does this automated solve this downloadable program change / do?

2 would you recommend to fix "user profile Service service has no login" or would you recommend that the problem resolved manually?

    3. currently, when I log on my computer's built-in Administrator account using safe mode, I am unable to change any other user account or create a new user account.  I'm unable to connect to is account only administrator of my computer.  If I delete this account, I then will be able to create a new administrator account by using the built-in Administrator account on the computer that is running in safe mode?

Any help on this is greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Mr Wizard is essentially the same as the manual process. If there is a difference, I'm not aware.  Personally, I prefer manual processes that I feel I have more control - but others prefer the automated process, because it is simpler.  The choice is yours and I don't think in the long run it's important.

Question 3 is more difficult to answer.  As the only administrator account on the system, remove leaves you only with the built-in Administrator account which, currently, is not working as you can not use it even to create another administrator account.  Here, the hope is that the patch will solve the underlying problem and the high administrator account will work as normal once the fix is completed - however, I can't guarantee that will be the case because I've never done this procedure when the problem of account is the only account to administrator on the system.

It should work, but if it isn't then you will be in the situation where you have no active and functional administrator account (if even the built-in Administrator account does not work as an administrator account - as seems to be the case at the moment, but can change once completed correction - or for some reason any cannot be enabled or accessible) and the only solution to this problem is a clean install.  For this reason I recommend you make a backup completes before attempting this, unless your data will be safe.

I should add that I'm not sure that you have many choices, because this is pretty much the way to solve this problem and I do not know other solutions that work.

I hope this helps and that I could be more reasssuring, but that's as far as I know the problem, the fix, the situation, the solution proposed and the potential consequences.

    Good luck!

  • Windows does not work with the active Microsoft Account Sign-in Assistant service

    Hello

I spent several hours today a behavior very strange and problematic of the debugging windows. It suddenly started doing this:

-After starting, I log in with my password. None of the applications that are supposed to start on windows logon do not start. Taskbar shows nothing. All that requires administrative privileges performer does nothing. If I try to launch msconfig.exe it shows nothing. If I try to run the Task Manager it shows nothing. If I try CTRL + SHIFT + ESC Task manager does not appear. CTRL + ALT + DELETE, and then on the task manager - he does not appear. If I try to run-> taskmgr.exe it does not appear.

I can do pretty much anything.

So what I did was run the safe mode and disabled all services through msconfig. WIndows then start regularly. I tried to activate all the services of 3rd third-party and microsoft services disabled and he did run. While I started activation of microsoft services in a mode of binary search until I found that I can have all the services EXCEPT for Microsoft account Sign-In Assistant. If I activate this one, this non-fonctionnalite occurs. If I turn it off, windows are running ok.

What is going on? I need this service or can I leave this option unchecked forever so that I can use my laptop?

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community Forum.

I understand that the Microsoft Online Services Sign-In Assistant is obstacle to running Windows and basic operations. Basically, this service is used for products Microsoft online several that include operations related to the connection with clients Lync, synchronization and PowerShell Module.

In order to solve possible authentication problems experienced with this service, I suggest you carefully follow the steps described in the following TechNet article to resolve the problem.

Microsoft Online Services Sign - In Assistant: how to turn on tracing for debugging

Important: This section, method, or task contains steps that tell you how to modify the registry. However, serious problems can occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. It is not Microsoft.  It is a peer-to-peer forum.

If someone cold calling (calls you without having you someone contacted thereon yourself on the topic) on a computer problem and you PAY someone to constantly monitor your system for you for such things - it's a scam, it is not something you want to participate and you should probably just tell them, 'goodbye.  "Thanks for the calls:" and hang up.

They probably have infected/infested your machine.  This thing should be completely erased and restored by default.  The same goes for any other system or router on your network.  All passwords (local and Internet) must be changed immediately.  You must cancel any payment for them and put your Bank and credit alert cards.
