Hi Doc_dave,
Thanks for posting on Microsoft Answers!
1. This pop-up window contains an error message?
2. the Microsoft Composite battery component provides the driver provided by Microsoft, Composite battery, a kernel mode driver, in the compbatt.sys file. Composite battery driver tracks the status of the batteries of the system and acts as an intermediary between the power manager and class drivers and miniclass battery.
It is applicable for desktops as well, it contains the information on the computer's power management

Microsoft Composite battery "trendy but no charging current.
Original title: Microsoft Composite battery
I use an Acer Aspire 5732z laptop. My Microsoft Composite battery driver disappeared and my battery is now charging. It says "connected but no charging current. How can I reinstall the driver?
Thanks in advance :)Nominal capacity: 47520 Full last Charge: 47520 Thank you.Hello
These figures show that the battery is always 100%.
If you still see the sector, message on the battery meter does not charge, perform the following steps.
The situation you describe can usually be fixed by doing a Cycle of power on the laptop.
Perform the following steps.
1. shut down the computer.
2 unplug everything from the computer. This includes the AC adapter / CC, Modems and routers and external devices, such as printers, disks, USB devices, etc. Nothing should be left plugged into the computer.
3. remove the battery.
4 wait 30 seconds. Press and hold the power button on the laptop for 15 seconds. This evacuates any excess electric energy out of the laptop.
5 reconnect everything on the computer, including the power adapter and the battery.
Start the computer and check the results to see if the problem is resolved.

pilot missing microsoft composite battery
I reinstalled windows on my laptop computer and the only driver miss me is composite battery driver microsoft, can I copy the driver from my other laptop and install in the one who is missing it? I know that I need the driver because my battery is not just read. But cannot find driver anywere. Help
It was worth a try, but I don't think that it would appear that the key word is "nonpresent devices" but could have if your battery has a bad connection. Try to remove your battery when your computer is off then turn on with AC and then turn off and insert the battery and turn on with the battery. This could be an indication your battery is low, you can use the other laptop battery. Check the device manager every time. Check out this article, there is a link to halfway to the bottom of the download page.

Satellite Z830 - battery problem
Hello
Recently my SSD drive failed, I had a brand new spare so I replaced it. From the start it I had problems with my battery. The laptop works fine when it is plugged in, but if I remove the plug the portable ca goes out (like unplugging a desktop PC). The battery appears in Device Manager, the following figure:
Microsoft AC adapter
Battery method control compatible ACPI Microsoft
Microsoft Composite batteryWhen the power supply is connected, the battery indicates the charge and stuck a 9%, it is like that for days.
When you replace the SSD drive, I haven't touched another thing (well not that I know well), and made sure I have touch the SD slot (Earth static electricity). I don't know if that is the question.
The ultrabook is a little over a year old, and the battery was perfect before that.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much
Jeremy. My opinion on this Satellite has a different design and construction so this Exchange should be performed by authorized personal only. On this virtual path, we cannot say much. Who knows what the problem is here.
In my opinion that it must be tested with another battery and just this way you can see if the battery is troublemaker, or anything else. I'm afraid you need professional help with this problem of Mr. contact nearest service Toshiba and let check battery and electronic power.

HP dv7-3065dx notebook: HP 601 error and Error 502 CMOS battery
HP dv7-3065dx Entertainment laptop. Win 7.
Battery HP detected the battery capacity alert system is very low error 601 (internal battery). So I changed to a new battery CR 2032 cell. Showed the same error. I changed to another new battery CR2032. The second time I did it, I got a new CMOS 502 error with error 601. My clock back to 2009, I lost some of the icons at the bottom right and my WiFi was gone.
Now, I have two things that need to be corrected.
I turned on, immediately hti ESC, Fig. system press F2, battery Test:
Primary battery failed test (on the first battery I put in, does not check the second)
Control - device Mgr - HP power adapter - Batteries - Microsoft, Microsoft ACPI compatible with battery and Microsoft composite battery control method show that they work.
System CMOS/real clock shows his work.
Microsoft System Mgmt - BIOS Driver v. 6.1.7601.17514 from 21/06/2006 says it's the latest version.
I have updated manually my clock. I'll understand the wireless and the icons later that I guess. Just need to know what to do about errors.
SG.
Your voucher you need to replace the MAIN battery.
As I said many times.
That error is so misleading HP should have never used INTERNALLY.
Replace the MAIN battery, and you'll be ready to go.

When I begin to close the window 7 and it shows not connected to the wide then close then it never stops
The problem is not in msconfig. I did everything you said about msconfig and nothing has been changed. And you asked me on Device Manager and on the sound and I did all the step by step, that nothing has changed. So I thought that it was and I thought about 3rd party involved and I started with the battery backup, so I went clicked on battery device them Manager and it showed 1. the HID 2 UPS battery. Microsoft composite battery. so I disabled the battery inverter hid and reboot and it has finally showed that it closed. I went into the Device Manager and helped the battery and restart it to see if it is the problem and it would be not closed at all. So I need Microsoft to give me an upgrade to the program of the battery. or I have to go to the battery backup ups program. I can't have ups and Microsoft at the same time because this is where my problem is.

Windows will not start completely after you apply updates 14/08/2012.
The windows startup screen appears, and then the screen turns white with just the cursor. The cursor is mobile. Make a start with a lit boot record, it seems that many drivers do not load.
When processed the update restart and the laptop it worked fine for a few minutes, but then blue screened with a network driver error. He continued to do so at every reboot.
I grew up in recovery mode and tried to restore about restoration of pre-upgrade. The operation failed, and when starting, he started the above behavior. Here are the last entries in the ntbtlog.txt file.

I suggest slaving the hard drive to another computer to back up your data (or a boot disk OS which you leave copy on a USB device and backup your stuff).
Then wipe the hard drive clean (DBAN or KillDisk - both are free) and then using system restore restore disks.

A warning came that my battery to a level critical, how I please?
Hello everyone! I've never had this problem before. My laptop Compac is a little more 2 years and up until a month ago everything was absolutely perfect. I was very careful looking after battery, but given that my leg and bed bound since March 5, the computer often run out of power, and I guess that's the way of the problem?
How do I replace the battery? After taking off it he says it's a Microsoft compatible ACP1 control method battery, Composite battery? Adapter Microsoft is written before that too, if it helps?
I'm afraid, I have very basic computer skills and knowledge, and my laptop is a vital resource for me and today more than ever. Please can anyone of you tell me what to do?
Thank you very much.
Hello
Contact Compaq support with the details of model number and verify.

Question of battery charge on the new Satellite C50t-A-10J
I have a new Satellite C50t-A-10J that has intermittent load problems. Sometimes it charges ok sometimes it says connected does not support. When no current charging if I click on the battery icon supported starts and continues ok.
Does anyone know of a more automatic solution? I read on similar problem solved by uninstalling and then reinstalling the Microsoft ACPI battery compatible control method in Device Manager but is reluctant to try because the computer is new.
I can of course go back to the retailer, but thought I'd post just in case someone had a similar solution.
Thank you
Hi Geoff
I guess this isn't problem in the system.
It seems that your battery is defective and I recommend to contact the Toshiba authorized service provider in your country to get a battery replacement.Welcome them

Satellite L50-A-111 - 0% battery power
Hello.
Today while playing a game my Toshiba Satellite L50-A-111 stops and when I turned it back on, I closed the game and on the desktop, I noticed that the battery was at 0%, I checked the AC and everything was connected and after one minute it off again. So after a few attempts, I noticed that the latter always follows this behavior:
1. when I turn on it return _with HQ power on_, the battery is at 0% available (plugged in, does not support) and _it will stay 5-minutes_ and just before turns out it will change in (plugged in, load) for like 15 seconds and then turns off.
2. at the time unaware of _it the "DC IN / battery indicator ' is white (indicates the AC adapter is connected and the)
battery is fully charged.) 5 minutes and again for 15 seconds, it will change to amber (indicates the AC adapter is plugged in and the battery is being charged) and he repeats this behavior in the cycles of 5 minutes.3 and this is the most bizarre situation, when I turn it back _with ignore AC power, the battery is at 0% and it stays on until it's really discharge the battery (I only did once)
What I ve try:
change management the power to never turn off the power/sleep, did not.
Uninstall "Microsoft compatible battery ACPI Control method" and install it again (did not work)I did not remove/replace the battery because I'm afraid of messed up, and I don't really know who will solve the problem.
Do you know what the problem is or what I can do to keep after more than 5 minutes?
Thank you in advance.
Hmmmmmm... It is not easy to say what the problem is. I don't know if this can somehow help but try to reset your machine. How do models with main battery sets, which you can read on http://aps2.toshiba-tro.de/kb0/TSB3C03JR0000R01.htm
Problem is that these questions can be tested with additional drums on most of the models of laptop but unfortunately your machine has set the main battery. If the problem will always be there do not open your machine. What you can do is to contact the nearest Toshiba service provider in your country, to explain the situation and ask for help.

Hello!
I was with my hp envy m4 core i7 for quite a while now... recently, I formatted and installed windows 8.1 64-bit installed. I decided to download some drivers from the hp site and I realized I needed to provide my model of laptop model number I could not remember so I decided to remove the battery while the computer is still connected to the power for the number, then I went back to the battery. the latter, I realized that the cell had not accused beyond of 7%, which was the level of support, until I removed the battery and when I checked the charge level, it indicated that it was plugged in but does not support. When I tried to repeat the entire process as well as close the laptop, remove the battery and turning it again nothing work and completely refusing to charge for its on.when I decided to turn off completely and then it was off it perfectly complete accused 100% operating battery estimated more than six hours of charge time, guys help me to understand what might have developed and what will be the best solution.
Hi @Phanz,
Thank you for your inquiry.
I entered which you have tried to download the driver on the HP website for your laptop but realized you need the model number. You have removed the battery while the laptop is running. Now when you reinstall the battery, it shows that it is connected but does not charge and continues to 7%. You have repeated the process and close Notepad and removed and reinstalled battery, but there was no change. If you turn off it charges the battery to 100%.
You did all your Windows updates?
Have you tried the troubleshooter in Windows?
First of all, I would like to try a Windows restore to before remove you the battery.
HP computers - using the Microsoft System Restore (Windows 8)
If restore doesn't work or is not possible, you could try a Refresh Your PC to solve problems (Windows 8).
Then you can try the following steps.
HP laptops - test and calibrate the battery (Windows 8)
The battery method compatible ACPI Microsoft control is basically the driver that communicates between the computer and the battery. There is a chance that it became corrupt and bad reads the battery level.
Step 1. Go to the Device Manager
Step 2. Select the stacks
Step 3. Click with the right button on the "Microsoft compatible battery ACPI Control method" which is in the list
Step 4. Click on uninstall
Step 5. At the command prompt, put a checkmark in the box to remove the current driver
Step 6. Shut down the computerStep 7: Remove the battery for a minute and then put new
When the computer returns to the top it should automatically find the driver.
Step 8. Go to the Device Manager
Step 9. Select the stacks
Step 10. Click with the right button on the "Microsoft compatible battery ACPI Control method" which is in the list
Step 11. Click "automatically search for an updated driver.Do the same thing with embedded controller compatible ACPI Microsoft.
Last option is to reinstall your Windows 8.1 Pro.
Good luck!

The battery light flashes slowly when computer is off (G6 computer 2011sa) portable
HP Pavilion 2011sa G6
Windows 7 64 bit
The laptop is brand new, I got it for a week.
This seems to happen when the battery is low, but not to the level of criticism. Initially, I notice the battery light is white for about 30 seconds and then off for 30 seconds and repeat - what happens when the computer is turned off. I turn on the computer and the battery meter shows 29% and a ridiculous time, 43hrs 29minutes. Previously, he said 127hrs. But it seems to be frozen at this value. The battery light is now flashing white and turn off more quickly. Finally the computer just turns off without warning. After recharging the battery meter displays a time in more realistic and there seems to be no problem.
Go to Device Manager. Expand the device Batteries and right-click on the "'ACPI control method-Microsoft compatible battery ' and select uninstall." Now, do a right-click any device and select ""find the hardware changes " option." Your operating system must be reinstalled a clean copy of the ACPI Microsoft-compatible remote control battery method while parsing. Now, restart your laptop.
Please post here your positives or negatives in your thread, while others may have of your experience with this method.
You have installed the operating system - improvements and fixes from the web to your mobile support portal?

My right click on the trackpad is not working so I'll uninstall the driver for the touchpad (since the Device Manager) and then restart the computer. I'd do anything else? Will the trackpad then work automatically? I have no idea, please help! Info:
