  Unfortunately, I tried to use these sites but the firewall on my Vista family premium will only allow the programs well and NOT websites.  I have 4 important updates that need to download so I can install them.  I get this error message all the time and sometimes they get in through slowly but then they cannot install and the firewall prevents them.  What to do?

  I have a laptop running Windows 7 for x 64 bit. Whenever I try to install an update to security for Microsoft Office System2007 or any program that is, I get the error code 646.   Download the updates manually would let us know what update is causing the problem and that's when we suggest the user to try because it could limit the question.

  Mention updates with which you are having problems with.
