Microsoft Genuine 7
Acer pc comes with windows 7 active, product key: *-* - CVWWV - QYJQB-WBXPR

I suggest that you run the Microsoft Genuine Advantage diagnostic tool in normal mode (not safe mode) and copy and paste the results into a response for further analysis:
http://go.Microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=52012
Run the tool and when it ends, click the copy button, open a text such as Word or Notepad file and select Edit, paste. You can paste directly into an answer here. Open a response, right click and select Paste.

I had to wipe my hard drive due to a battle lost by a virus. My installation of XP Pro SP2 disk disappeared, so I used my XP Pro SP3 OEM disc to install Windows. When I used my valid product key XP Pro SP2 I was shocked to receive an invalid product key. I always ran Microsoft Genuine product and would like to know how to reach a genine advantage accreditation with my present prediciment. Any help would be appreciated and we thank you in advance.
Hi KevinDitner,I'm afraid, but you can't do that. Your product key Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) should be used only for the laptop which came with it.You can get the CD of Windows XP Professional Service Pack 2 (SP2) by contacting the Support team customer Microsoft.More information on: -

I can't remove Microsoft Genuine Validation of my computer?
It ensures that your copy of windows is genuine, to prevent people from piracy. It is not necessary to remove it, it shouldn't take much place.

Dear MS,
In April 2014, I bought a product key of Windows 7 from a business online apparently good reputation (good reviews when searched online). Windows has a download and product key worked and I have not had a problem until a few weeks when the operating system has started posting messages saying: this copy of Windows is not genuine. I tried several times to validate without result.
I ran the Microsoft Genuine Advantage Diagnostic Tool and details are stuck under--->

Microsoft Genuine Advantage diagnostic results cannot be copied
I'm looking at a friends computer as she is ill and unable to do it herself.
She had problems with the acceptance of the activation key which is in since about 4 years without problem.
When she bought this computer, it came with Windows Vista pre-installed complete Edition. Now all of a sudden, the system told him that the windows are not authentic and that he repeatedly asked to use the product key for activation - far fairly normal. Problem is that she has never had the product key. She never received records, nor is it a sign of usual stickers that must have been on the computer.
I have downloaded and run the MGADiagnosis tool, which came with "invalid license key" in red with a code "50". ". I used the copy button which then shows me when he recorded it, but when I watch the news, there seems to be a log file (log.evtx) with no information useful to what had to be disclosed on the 6 tabs of the origonal MGADiag decernable tool results.
Watching others topics of the forum dealing with this problems simailar (suddenly my key is invalid) and they all seem have no problem copying the results down, they are shown in the MVADiag tool.
I watched and clicked anywhere on the tool, but I can't find another method to copy the information. Including trying to highlight (click and drag), cntl A then Ctrl C then cntl V - no results whatsoever. I feel like a complete noob, you mind, I never came across a before missing license key, then perhaps it is due to my complete inexperience with this - ahh, as I said - a complete noob!
FOR INFO. The log.evtx is 2.06 MB with she accompanies file tokens.dat being 3.93 MB additional which are both in the CAB file MGADIAG20110826210135204.cab that shows only 688 KB file size, so I guess the CAB file pull in both the log.evtx and tokens.dat files when opened. I have also tried drag and do file directly in this window - naturally, no good.
Additional information:
The system is a dual-boot system. She normally uses the Windows Vista Ultimate choice. Could it be the cause of the problems? I personally doubt because I saw many of them without problems. I must say though that I don't have knowledge of the history of this system other than what my friend told me, and I forgot to ask how long the system has been a dual boot together.
Thanks in advance and sorry it's so long.
To analyze and solve problems for Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag (download and save to the desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 ) tool
Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the button continue, which will produce the report.
To copy the report in your response, click the copy button in the tool (ignore the error at this point) and then paste (using r-click and paste or Ctrl + V) in your response.
