From what I can tell, this product is similar to another Fixer PC or acceleration of programs that are not necessary and may create problems.
The registry of Windows 7 is also, not need of cleaning.
I can't find a link with Microsoft and I doubt there is one.
Just my opinion.

I fell for what you all seem to feel is a "scam."
I got a call saying they were technical support from Microsoft, they called for my pc was hacked and sent error messages. I was not too su re, but they had me enter a code on the pc, and it showed a list of more than 50 error messages, they said that they had received. Then, they control that is given to them for the mouse and seized a lot of information showing me the problems. Then he said warns me on; those pirates I needed a special program. "Alpha PC maintenance" and for 3 years, it would be $ 135. Now I don't know if it was the real scoop or I fell for a big pile of *! I could use the theory, I'm a senior, but I think I should have been smarter. What should I do now that they've been in the pc? Thank you JAFTXTo add to what you already said, inform your bank company or credit card if you do banking online of any form or if you have given your debit or credit card number to the caller. Why I have to connect to microsoft account with my password of microsoft just started my computor
I just bought a new laptop which has windows 8. Whenever I start it, I need to access my Microsoft account with my password of Microsoft just to get to my office at the top of the page. When I go to user accounts is the only option that I change my password for Microsoft, I don't see an option to do not use a password at startup. My concern is: I will lose my current email address due to move it to another location and may not be able to take it with me. Microsoft will not allow me to rename my account and my email will no longer be associated with this account. If I lose my microsoft account, I'm afraid that I could not simply start this computer without a password for the account of miscrosoft. I am the only user on this computer and I would like to be able to turn it on without using a password. I hope someone can help
Hi Ronald,.
With Windows 10, you have an option to sign in using your Microsoft account or just use a local account. Skip option is just below the part of the Microsoft account login. After ignoring, you will be asked to create a local account. If you don't have a password for your local account the first time that you set up, you will not receive a prompt to enter a password the next time that you open a session.
At this point, you can try to remove the local account existing instead and create a new one without a password. So, let us know how it goes. If you encounter the same problem, it will be better if you could provide a screenshot.
Kind regards.

I just got a call from someone who said they were from Microsoft. It was obviously of the India. In any case, he said that there are problems with my computer and it asked me to do something, I would not. He hung up. He told me to click the button of windows on my keyboard. Then he told me type something in and running. But I refused. I said, how end I call Microsoft and give them your name... HE HUNG UP.
Hello DianeMcGettigan,
It is simply one of the many scams that are doing the tour.
Unless you have a prepaid support contract with Microsoft, then Microsoft will never contact you by phone, mail or e-mail about problems with your PC. You did while refusing to allow him access to your PC. All they want to do is to have access to your PC, so they can steal personal data (banking etc.) on your part.
This forum post is my own opinion and does not necessarily reflect the opinion or the opinion of Microsoft, its employees or other MVPS.

Is Microsoft doing calls unsolicited claiming computers are infected by "malware files?
About 10 minutes ago, I received a phone call from a man who claimed to be calling on behalf of Microsoft. He stated that you had received numerous reports of errors in my PC and I got problems with some sort of 'malicious file infection' and he'd help me fix them. I assumed it was a blatant lie and a malicious attempt full.
Was just to make this assumption, or not Microsoft, in fact, make this type of appeal? You were quite correct. It is a malicious scam.

Microsoft Phone Call re: licenses
I received a message from 'Microsoft' my licenses were obsolete and Microsoft was to stop.
There was a phone # to call.
I don't know what they are talking about.
Is it a scam?
Thank you
Hello
SCAM.
This is general advice that give us on telephone calls from people claiming to be from Microsoft.
Either these so-called "Microsoft" Tech companies want to sell you a worthless software, or remote access to your computer to try to steal your credit card and bank information and also achieve an identity theft on you.
You are the only person who knows if you gave them remote access.
If you gave them remote access and you do Internet banking, contact your bank, to explain, and change passwords.
If you use your online credit card, cancel and get a new one issued to you.
And the only way that willl you know that you are free to them is to backup your data and do a clean install of your operating system.
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
And Microsoft does not contact you unless YOU have made prior arrangements with them to do.
There is an article in the link I'm you provide at the end of this one
