Microsoft Keyboard Elite for Bluetooth problem

I have had and used the Elite and Intellimouse keyboard for many years.  My keyboard has recently developed a problem. I am able to recognize and install it, but it does not 'Connected', such as the IntelliMouse. Or it does not show recently used. The only information shown in the Bluetooth Panel is Microsoft Keyboard and password activated.

The mouse shows Microsoft Mouse, no password, connected.

When I select the keyboard and click on properties, then on services, the drivers for keyboard, mice, etc (HID) box is not checked. I check it, then hit apply, and I get the error Service Bluetooth "access denied."

I was able to install the keyboard on another computer and it works fine.  The support of bluetooth and bluetooth services seem to work fine as well.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers for the keyboard and the mouse and the mouse still works fine but no resolution on the keyboard. I am running XP SP3 on my computer, and it has all the latest updates and drivers that I can find.  In addition, I was the software updates when the keyboard stop working.  Very well, I was typing a moment and the next day, that he had just left.

Suggestions on how to proceed?

After almost 7 months together trying to figure out this I finally got mine to work! After reading the post from Yawp73, I didn't uninstall my old version of Microsoft Keyboard Elite for Bluetooth and reinstalled the latest version of Microsoft. When I went to add devices and I saw the keyboard icon, click on it instead and press 'next' to put in the passcode, I right click it and went to properties, then services and CHECKED the box for the drivers for keyboard, mice, etc.. After hitting applied, my elite keyboard started working without even putting a pass code! YES! THANKS Yawp73!  I really hope that it works for everyone because this question drove me INSANE! Good luck!!!

  • session active ftp for bluetooth problem

    Hello

I recently bought a Moto X 1 st Gen and so far everything has been great, but I noticed recently that I can't receive files via bluetooth. I can connect and pair my device and I can send files to my computer but I can't receive files. Whenever I try to do, it appears a message in the notification bar that says "Active FTP Session for bluetooth" or something like that, I can't open the message as it appears and disappears very quickly.

Someone knows how to fix this?

I do not use BT for file transfer, but it could be that receive files on your phone is blocked by default.

After coupling with the computer, try to go to BT settings on your phone and computer. It should list the functions of BT supported. Under file transfer, see if there are menu options to activate the reception of files.

This is a forum for peer-to-peer and this product is not compatible with Windows 7 - so - don't.  Microsoft is not what you need.  Should have read the list of compatibility (operating systems) probably printed on the box.

  • Microsoft Sidewinder x 4 keyboard and program Microsoft Keyboard in Vista

I just connected a Microsoft Sidewinder x 4 keyboard in Vista after installing Intellitype 7.1.  The Microsoft Keyboard program continues to show an old "Wireless Desktop Elite Keyboard' as a default. I changed the Sidewinder keyboard, but as soon as I click OK in the Microsoft Keyboard window, it restores the old wireless keyboard (is no longer attached) when I opened the window. I uninstalled all the keyboards in the Device Manager and rebooted Vista.  I have also uninstalled and reinstalled Intellitype with no luck. Can someone help? Thank you.

Yep, a clean install would do :-)

A test, I plugged my X 4 my laptop Win7. He found as a "composite input device", but the bank lights do not come, so I guess that it relies on the software to make them work. I didn't install Intellitype, so I still think there is a problem with the installation of the software on your computer. You can download and install Revo Uninstaller, I have mentioned earlier, it allows to eliminate all traces of Intellitype, reboot, and reinstall. I think that even without the software installed, there will be always an HID input device listed in Device Manager, but not two. If I had the PC here, I would like to try it, but I'm in no hurry for the time or anything since I am retired :-)

  • Microsoft Arc Touch mouse Bluetooth works is not on my notebook of notes Windows 7 Ultimate edition and windows desktop 8!

    Hello world

I just bought Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse Bluetooth to use it on my laptop Vaio PC Windows 7 Ultimate. My PC mouse detected and installed in the PC devices and printers folder. But that's all. Regardless of what I do on the mouse not recognized by PC (no cursor movement!). There are a number of support in the manual, but they say different division of Microsoft is nothing to do with the mouse! There is a web page address in the manual to download the drivers, but there are no drivers provided on this page. I tested on my office windows 8.1 also but get the same result!

I buy an incompatible mouse to my PC? No where on the box of the product or in the manual of any mention of any specific PC it is exclusively designed for!

Can we thru' shed some light on this? so that I can return it to the store if necessary?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

From the description, I understand that the Microsoft Arc Touch Bluetooth mouse does not work on windows and Windows 7 Ultimate notebook office 8.1.

Let me tell you that Microsoft Arc Touch Bluetooth Mouse is compatible with these operating systems: Windows, Windows 8, Windows RT 8.1 and Windows RT 8.1

In the meantime, you can try the following methods and check.

Method 1: Install the implementation for the Arc Touch Bluetooth mouse.
    Please see the link below:

The keyboard and mouse bluetooth suddenly stops working.

Given that this only happens when I'm online I make this question to the FireFox support.
I have the latest version of FF:

I installed the new BIOS and Shipset, but that does not change.

Suddenly, the keyboard and the mouse do not respond and I have to restart manually.

  • 12 '' MacBook bluetooth problems

    Hey all

So I'm on my second 2015 12 '' MacBook (first it had rolled to the screen and keyboard issues) and bluetooth on it is flaky.  Sometimes when I am connected to my Boom 2 EU it will lose the connection, but indicate on the MacBook, it is still connected.  I then will not be able to turn bluetooth off, disconnect, or do something with bluetooth, until I did a reset of the bluetooth shift-option and restarting the computer (which often crashes before I can select).

It does too often that (every day, sometimes two or three times), not only with my Boom 2 EU, but with my Sony MDR10RBT headset and headphones Sony SBH80.  Sometimes it just won't connect at all and I have to remove and re-add the bluetooth device (which in itself can be a problem - it will say it is deleted, but then when I try to add it finds that it is has not removed at all!) So I won't be able to turn off bluetooth and it will become is not responding...)

My first MacBook (which was the same) was also exactly the same with bluetooth.  I always found bluetooth to be usually crappy in this regard, but is this just another implementation of garbage that I have to learn to live with, or people have in fact 12 "MacBook that works correctly?

The comments and advice gratefully received.  Last option Genius Bar as it is difficult for me to actually book a both practical session and attend because I have a life and a job...

I'm on OSX 10.11.6 and it's a standard 1.1 GHz XCore M MacBook and my EU Boom 2 is the last operating system installed as well.

    Thank you!

    UncleBobbie Hey!

I definitely want my Bluetooth accessories is operating normally and not remove and add them to use them.  We can try a few things and see what happens.

To start, try to create a test user to see if they do the same thing there.  That helps to see if it is specific to the user or the system-wide: How to test one question in another account on your Mac - Apple Support

After that, restart the computer in safe mode to try accessories here, too: try safe mode if your Mac does not commissioning - Apple Support

After these two steps, you can restart normally at your favorite user account and see if either solves the Bluetooth.

If it persists, you can run the Diagnostics Apple: Apple Diagnostics - Apple Support using

Response returns with the results of any of these measures and we can continue if necessary.

    Best wishes.
