  Try opening the iPhone before connecting to Windows. If the film is not empty, then the device should be listed in Windows Explorer.   I have upgraded to windows 7 and I'm trying to re - install my LifeCam VX-3000 but wen I do, I get a message indicating the cam "does not work" and "the program will close." I installed the drivers supplied by microsoft (LifeCam 3.2) and nothing. I even tried to re - install disk but it says that it was not compatible with windows 7 (it was LifeCam 1.4). So now I have a webcam that I can't use yet is supposed to be compatible with Windows 7.

  I was using XP before and had the same problem, update drivers exactly the same problem has happened then so I had to stay with the drive, but now I can't do same. Any help to what to now please?

It is compatible and all, but the report of system is still saying I have 3GB of "Physical memory", although she ways 4 GB for "Installed".   Could be a BIOS problem. And it is more likely to be the charger circuit that the
