  Hello!  I just create a movie using Windows Movie Maker (HP Pavilion dv6000/Windows Vista Home Premium).  During the PREVIEW, the first part of the video of my film sometimes will not play (view) while the audio continues.   I have Windows Vista, and Windows Movie Maker to make a movie. I've published using Windows DVD Maker. I've made several copies and sent to various members of my family. While I was able to watch them when I tested them on my TV dvd player, none of my family members are able to watch their copies on their dvd players. In addition, when I insert the dvd in my computer's dvd player, it won't play either. How can I fix?

  OK... you say you can play DVDs on your freestanding
  DVD player and on your computer. Startups that appears

• Premiere Pro CC 2014 will not play anything.

  Today, I launched a brand new installation of first Pro CC 2014 upwards (this is a trial) on a new iMac (3.5 GHz intel Core i7, 32 GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 M 4096 MB) and my project that was working fine yesterday on my MacBook Air will not play anything. The images are all H.264 digital SLRs. My sequences won't play, won't play my videos, my merged clips will not play, my multi cam sequences will not play. You press play and the play button becomes a stop button, but nothing happens. I tried to log in as root, but it will not play there either. All images are sitting on an external Lacie 4TB thunderbolt drive.

  Any thoughts?

  I thought it might as well be the permissions... ends by it was something really simple, but that didn't make any sense.

  Audio hardware preferences has created the system to input/output by default. Transition to the integrated output fixed.

  No idea why the audio hardware settings would keep the photo playback, but there you have it. Thanks to the support of technology Adobe useful phone.

  So I just got me a new computer HP desktop with XP and everything works fantastic with the exception of Windows Movie Maker. I use it on a regualr basis to create 2d animation frame-by-frame and it is important that I have functional. Unfortunately, when I open it, it is quick to give me a window "has encountered a problem / needs to close." The debug option is useless. What is really strange is that I managed to get a very similar program called "Camtasia. This program works, although it will not play videos, even his own tutorials! Audio, however, works very well. I find as strange as Media Player plays video smoothly, seems to work on the same basis as the viewers of other programs...?

  Things that I've tried, from other responses on blogs, etc. :

  -Reinstall Movie maker

  -Uninstalling Movie maker (it says it cannot)

  Try to adjust the volume of an audio clip in the audio / music. And add music from the disc hard if you added songs to a DVD.

• Movie Maker 6.0 serious on DVD, then published original, and now it will not play?

  My daughter has made a movie about Movie Maker 6.0 and it burned on a dvd.  She then had to change the original.  Once it was published, it does not work on Movie Maker 6.0.  She cannot do anything with it.  Help.  It's a slideshow from Graduation.  Garduation is today!

  It is unclear what has happened and why the project will not play.
  It may be interesting to try to open Movie Maker 6 and go to... Tools /.
  Options / Compatibility tab and disable all filters / OK.

  If this does not help... I think would be best to start
  Over and re - create the project.

  For a re-edition, you need the project .mswmm file
  and all your source files must be in the original

• Satellite P750-02R - will not play Avatar Blu - ray movie

  The drive reads the disc but it will not play the movie, which will play on a PS3. The film is Avatar and a disc is legitimate. My thought was that it would be that the film is Full HD, but may display show only 720 p or 1080i.

  The internal monitor of the P750 Satellite supports only HD (720 p) resolution. If you want full HD (1080 p), then watch the movie on a monitor external e. g. TV.

  Which was probably that there was a lack of understanding between the container file and the codec here (in November 2013).  He says he's a "MOV" does not mean that he plays with the same codecs as all other MOV files.  ;-)
