  I just want to know how it happened to one of our producer/Editor. It is his story. "She hung the three hard drives to 9 from FCP, has opened the program from Premiere Pro and created a new project file. Then she dragged the files, .mxf per season per show in the Premiere Pro project file. To organize additional files in labels and others per show per season, she decided to redo the project file. She highlighted the files on the window of Premiere Pro and click on delete. She then tried to repeat the move but this time, the program could not read the file type extension. One of our Publisher checked raw materials of the external hds but unfortunately the files is no longer there. Our question is how it happened because according to her, there is no prompt that it will be deleted in the external source files. Please help so that we can avoid it in the future.   First does not remove the files. The option to delete files from the hard drive only appears when you perform offline files in the first project window.

  The editor is sure that she has deleted the files in the window of Premiere project and not on the hard drive itself?

  Media Encoder crashes when exporting from Premiere Pro. I am the queue several files to export and Media Encoder will crash. The computer system has 32 GB of RAM and videos of export fine in first, but which requires export each individually. Each video file turned down and some can be quite long (more than 3-5 hours). Nothing else is running on the computer that take over memory.

  No idea why Media Encoder will crash?

  Try turning off the GPU acceleration.

  Whenever I'm ready to export my project my first Pro CC 2014 stop answer all together. I tried the short cut (command + M) or through the bar Manu. the result is the same, first Pro CC 2014 just freezes and does not respond to what it is until I force quit and relaunch allover again. I tried exporting from Premiere Pro auto, without using the Media Encoder, but the problem remains the same.

  I use the new Mac Pro. I've heard talk of that adobe Premiere Pro has problems with the new Mac Pro. Is this true? Or another problem?

  Hi Alex,

  • Can try you to reset the preferences for Premiere Pro and SOUL? Press the shift and Option keys at the start of each program. Then try your export once more.
  • If this does not work, you can try to do that all Adobe files have the correct permissions set. See this blog: first Pro CC, CC 2014, 20141 freeze at startup or crashing everything working (Mac OS X 10.9 and later)
  • If nothing else works, try changing the Mercury playback engine in Premiere Pro and SOUL 'Software.' only

• Media Encoder does not from Premiere Pro

  I'm having issues export from Premiere Pro - I've had enough of queue through Media Encoder so I can move on to the next edition, but when I select the queue and Media Encoder opens, it does nothing - just sitting there with "not currently Encoding" rather than import the data to export.

  Help?

  • Installed as other products CC Ps, Pr, Id, Lr, AI, etc.
  • I ran Adobe Updater but no update available for me.
  • Mac OS X 10.7.5 (Lion)
  • I use Adobe Media Encoder via a subscription to creative cloud
  • Project 6 minute film shot on the Sony (AVCHD) FS700 and Premiere Pro exports
  • No error message, just no enforcement action
  • Have not seen the problem before that - most of my work is Canon 5 d MK III vi, so maybe it's a problem of Codec Sony? Although I exported the images from the camera before...

  Finally got fed up and rang Adobe (if all else fails...)

  Member of the open video Support team my library folder (Go\Go to folder...\~/Library/) and then went into \Preferences\Adobe\Adobe Media Encoder\ and changed the folder called 6.0 to 6.0old (i.e. rename it to something else), then click queue in Premiere Pro and the project successfully opened in Media Encoder and was able to start coding.

  I hope this helps someone else suffers from the same issue!

  Hey Amir,

  Right now it is not really a workflow back in place. You can export your Premiere Pro editing and save on creative cloud. From there, you can import the export sequence in Clip via 'my files '.

  I wonder if there is a way to easily (or easily) convert all my existing changes in Final Cut Pro and start working in Premiere Pro?

  I worked in Final Cut Pro since version 1 and I have a LOT of old projects I'll be back repeatedly for revisions to the customers.

  I would love to somehow move to Premiere Pro with NEW projects but, at the same time, not to redo all my editing for my OLD projects at the FCC. Can I export certain types of data from FCP and have images and assets in the same organized folders and import these data into Premiere Pro and have my changes open up there?

  It would be great if there is a way to do...

  I'm planing to upgrade my Premiere Pro CS5.5 2.0. I try the test version that I like very much.

  But I have problems when I try to work with my old projects.

  Indeed I can import (copies of courses) in the CS5.5 whithout any problems. But all the sequences that once consisted of many clips and titles are now only a single strip of monolytical in the timeline panel. This is the whole movie, but no clips or other components are more visible.

  I need to see everything as it was during development, not only something like the final version.

  I read several threads in this forum on open issues / inport. But they all sounded like they concerned about more basic steps.

  I can do imports, but the result is poor.

  Does anyone know the thing I have to apply - or is that really what Adobe calls "import"?

  Double click on the sequence imported into the timeline panel. As they have been published, which will open the timeline with all the clips.
