Migrate the custom WF instance to the instance of production development

Hello

Nice day.

We have customized WF integrated with oracle self-service.

I changed one on these WF custom DEVELOPMENT instance (I add new activities, attributes... etc).

Now I want to migrate this WF to PRODUCTION, but I'm not sure how I should follow:

1 - re edit the Windows Firewall in the case of PRODUCTION.

2-

-To the WF manufacturer save the WF in my local file system.

-Close generator of WF.

-Open the WF designer and open the same WF modified previously.

-Save the WF in the production instance.

Please advice.

Hello

Another way to reach the goal using method # 2, you can use the WFLOAD utility.

  • Best way to migrate the Apex in Production applications - how users are affected?

    Hello

    We have been migrating our apex in production applications after the opening hours to try to minimize the impact on users. Can the affected users if they use the application while migration is taken?

    It's how we migrate:

    -We export enforcement apex of the development environment. This creates a SQL file.

    -Then the SQL file is imported into the Production by using the option 'reuse application ID export file XX'

    Please let me know if there is a better way to move the application in production, and if the user isn't be affected if we during opening hours.

    Yes for sure users will be get affected when you replace the current with a new app, if they use it at the same time.

    Another best way to move the application to the production (keeping the same URL of deployment) is to use the Application Alias for your URL of the App Production.

    In this way, you can import the application while users are using the old application. And then after opening hours all you have to do is delete the alias from the application of the old app and assign this alias to your new application.

    Refer to the following response: Re: versioning in Apex (the thread is on version control, but, in this reply, I have explained the deployment of Application Alias method).

    I hope this helps!

  • migrate the repository EAS of development to Production Server

    I want to export repository Services Admin Essbase and import it into the repository of service Regional de Production. This can be done? There are configuration changes I need to do after that?

    Somehow, I can't help but think it's a dig at me to not give you exactly what you wanted.
    The original question asked on the migration of the repository that I gave advice, he doesn't even mention business rules or he mentions a version even EAS is running.

  • Want to migrate the database (4node RAC) size of 4 TB of 10.2.0.5 at 11.2.0.4 on the new servers where the new type servers Primary (4 nodes) and Eve (4 nodes).

    Want to migrate the database (4node RAC) 4 TB size of 10.2.0.5(8 rompt = 4 prim/4 veille) to 11.2.0.4 on the new servers where the new type servers Primary (4 nodes) and Eve (4 nodes).  So with minimum downtime I have restore and recover again on 11.2.0.4 server must then clone that to create the day before.   Here, my question is can I take 0 backupp level before hand and restore on target (new) then primary at the time to leave the downtime take backup of level 1 of 10g and then retrieve it on 11g (new server) after successful recovery I'll perform clone to form eve of database on the new server. does this strategy work? If it works, can someone suggest me steps how can I need recover with backup after restoring the backup of level 0 on 11g. Like should I upgrade before you retrieve it with level 1 backup or I can update and then recover with the level 1 backup from the old server to the new server.

    Here is former servers of RHEL 5 version and new servers are RHEL 6 release.

    1 backup L0

    2 restore L0

    3. L1 and ArchiveLogs database backup

    4. copy BackupPieces L1 and ArchiveLog BackupPieces on new server

    5 CATALOGUE START WITH... to catalog the BackupPieces

    6. TOGETHER until lastavailable SNA / Archivelog + 1

    7 RECOVER DATABASE (should automatically identify the L1s and to apply ArchiveLogs)

    8 STOP

    9 START UPGRADE

    10. run catupgrd.sql

    You should also take care on the locations of the data file, dump, instance settings destinations, all link database from the database, connectivity application etc.

  • Migrate the database from SE to EE

    Hi guys!

    Could you please is it possible to pass Oracle Standard edition 11.2.0.1 a Enterprise edition 11.2.0.3database? I've found so far only how to migrate the same versions but I am interested in how to handle this when a version lower than EA.

    No problem)))

    Going from Standard edition to Enterprise edition

    If you use the Oracle database Standard edition and want to upgrade to the Enterprise Edition, then proceed as follows:

    1. Make sure that the version number of your Standard Edition Server software is the same version as the Enterprise Edition Server software. For example, if your Standard Edition Server software is version 10.2.0 then you should go to release Enterprise Edition 10.2.0.
    2. Stop your database.
    3. If your operating system is Windows, then stop all services Oracle, including the OracleService SID Oracle service, where SID is the name of the instance.
    4. Uninstall the Server Standard Edition software.
    5. Install the software from the Enterprise Edition Server using the Oracle Universal Installer.Select the same Oracle home that has been used for the uninstalled Standard edition. When installing, be sure to select the Enterprise edition. When you are prompted, choose software only in the database Configuration screen.
    6. Start up of your database.

    Your database is now upgraded to the Enterprise edition.

  • Migrate the host ESX to vSphere 4.0 Server 4.1

    Hi all

    I have 2 vSphere environments. A server vSphere 4.0, and 3 ESX 4.0 host. Another with vSphere 4.1 server with 3 hosts ESXi 4.1. I want to migrate ESX 4.0 mailboxes to the new server for vSphere 4.1. Assuming that I have licenses installed locally on the boxes, and I squared away vSphere licensing, what would be the best way to migrate the host?

    I would simply ' right click-> delete ', then 'right click-> add a host' on the Server 4.1?

    Thanks in advance.

    the best way to do so is in vCenter 1, right-click and disconnect the host and then delete host.  In vCenter2, "add host".  This will move the hosts and their guests to the new instance without interruption.

  • Exchange 2007, P2V or migrate the mailboxes?

    We have our Exchange 2007 running on two servers environment. A server is to access to the client and one for the letters/hub transport boxes. Months ago we did a P2V on the client access server and there work very well since. Next week we want to virtualize our box at the letters/hub transport server. I got two options:

    1. perform a P2V with VMWare Converter making a cold conversion

    2 set up a new server instance of the letters/hub Exchange 2007 under VMWare boxes and then migrate the mailboxes. It would involve a new installation of Windows Server 2003 Enterprise (64-bit) and a new installation of Exchange 2007 under VMWare and then using Microsoft tools to migrate the mailboxes.

    Any thoughts on how we should go?

    We run what ESX 3.5 fully patched. Our current box the letters/hub Exchange Server works on a blade in my IBM BladeCenter. We present this server with two LUNS of my Netapp FAS3020, one for the mail store and one for the log files. The disks we use currently in the Netapp are SATA. Monday we're going to bring online a new tray of fiber channel disk, and this will be where the data for our virtualized Exchange servers store will reside. In the end, it would be easier if the virtualized Exchange Server had the same IP address and the host name, otherwise I have some additional work to do with my ISP and my Barracuda Spam firewall. If we move to the second track, I don't know if this part will be delicate.

    We have about 600 mailboxes and our database of mailboxes is about 90 GB in size

    Migrate the mailboxes - fully phased in with little or no risk and roll back is a snap.

  • Backward compatibility - migrating the members of 11.1.2.4 to 11.1.2.3 contour?

    Good snow shoveling day everyone!  I hope that you have found the right higher training!

    Our production ASO cube lies in 11.1.2.3
    Our test ASO cube lies in 11.1.2.4
    We want to migrate members in the outline of the ASO cube production ASO test.

    There is backward compatibility of the migration of members of the contour (migration of members of 11.1.2.4 to 11.1.2.3 contour)?
    In other words, we can migrate 11.1.2.4 describe 11.1.2.3 members? Is it a 'backward' migration utility that would allow us to migrate 11.1.2.4 a glimpse back at 11.1.2.3?

    Psalm, we know that when we move 11.1.2.3 State to 11.1.2.4, 11.1.2.4 ASO would we require to migrate 11.1.2.3 briefly 11.1.2.4 front.

    We have the planning and LCM, but tech support said 11.1.2.4 LCM is not compatible with 11.1.2.3 (aka there are a few bugs).

    Otherwise I guess we can use the contour of the OLAP Underground to migrate Extractor.

    Thank you.

    No alcoholic Cheers!

    If it is before 11.1.2.3.500, then there will be such issues as pointed out 'Essbase Administration Services (EAS) outline 11.1.2.3.500 to 11.1.2.3.000 empty file Migration Wizard creates (Doc ID 1927334.1).

    Migration of a glimpse through earlier versions is certainly risky and you're only going to be clear if it is rebuilt.

  • Can LCM migrate the contents of the data of the FDMEE established between environments?

    In the version on FDMEE site, I have a question about the capacities of migration of LCM.

    For example, say I had a year of historical data I wanted to import. I saw this in FDMEE in Test, am now satisfied results in Essbase. I now want to spend both Essbase and the FDMEE data (to preserve the capacity of drilling) staged production. (By data staged, I mean the ) records that are visible in the screen of Workbench of FDMEE).

    LCM does support it, or support only migrate the objects? I guess that if all the objects, I would need to reload all the data in FDMEE in Prod, in turn, re - push all data into Essbase in Prod?

    Hope my question is simple,

    Thank you

    LCM does not migrate the data FDMEE in the current version.

    Is your fresh production environment env, so you did not work with FDMEE?

    You have to build your own migration to move data using SQL. Another option would be to re - load all data. That would ensure that all of your internal identifiers conform.

  • How to migrate the relationship between two different epm versions.11.1.1.4 - 11.1.2.3

    Hello, we intend to make an hors-place upgrade to our 11.1.1.4 to 11.1.2.3 environment. The only thing stopping us is the question of how to migrate 11.1.2.3 11.1.1.4 reports. We have already considered the following options

    (1) LCM, LCM is taken in charge only between the same versions are at - it another way.

    (2) I know there is an option to export reports in the workspace, but the disadvantage that is that each report must be exported at the same time (atlease how it is in 11.1.1.4). And we have far too many reports to make them one at a time.

    (3) I have also considered the possibility of replicating data in the repository Directory (HYPERION_HOME\products\Foundation\workspace\data\RM1_Servername) of 11.1.1.4 to be used as the repository directory in the new version, assuming that reports and data analysis means the reports too. However after doing this I have connected to the new environment and could not see any of the reports.

    What other options are there to migrate the reports. Help, please.

    Thanks for the reply of John, I looked at this option. But if I select this option if it does not affect the current 11.1.1.4 environment? Because it is an output level on the spot and we will be maintaining the old environment until we get the new environment to match the old. Thanks again.

    Clone the existing 11.1.1.4 databases, point to the clone.

  • Using several data stores, cannot migrate the vmx file in a data store

    I am host migration between 3.5 and 4.0, and part of the migration requires me to vmotion data to a single shared LUN data warehouses.  From there on, I import the virtual machine in 4.0 and using the script to migrate the two VM disks at different stores of data below.  The problem I have is that the configuration (vmx) file not migrated and is left on the shared storage LUNS.  Anyone knows how to go beyond this?

    The Script:

    $VMDisk = 'disk 1 '.

    $VMName = 'TestVM '.

    $TargetDS = get-Datastore - VMHost (Get-VMHost-$S.id Id) | Where-Object {$_.} Name - like "PMV"} | "" FreeSpaceMB tri-objet-descending | SELECT name - first of all 1

    $vm = get-View - ViewType VirtualMachine-filter @{"Name" = $VMName}

    foreach ($dev in $vm. Config.Hardware.Device) {if ($dev. DeviceInfo.Label - eq $vmDisk) {$diskId = $dev. Key}}

    $spec = new-Object VMware.Vim.VirtualMachineRelocateSpec

    $diskspec = new-Object VMware.Vim.VirtualMachineRelocateSpecDiskLocator

    $diskspec. Data store = (Get-Datastore-name $TargetDS.Name |) Get - View). MoRef

    $diskspec.diskId = $diskId

    $spec. Disk = @($diskspec)

    $task = get-View ($vm. RelocateVM_Task ($spec, "lowpriority"))

    OK, I think I understand your problem now.

    I fear that in the current construction of PowerCLI, the Move-VM cmdlet does not destinations of individual data for each virtual hard disk store.

    With the RelocateVM_Task method, it is possible.

    The following script moves a guest at 3 different data warehouses:

    -the. VMX file for DS2

    -hard disk 1 for DS3

    -hard drive 2 TB DS4

    $vmName = "MyGuest"
    $vmxDS = "DS2"
    $osDS = "DS3"
    $dataDS = "DS4"

    $vm = Get-VM -Name $vmName

    $vm.Extensiondata.Config.Hardware.Device | %{
         if ($_.DeviceInfo.Label -eq "Hard disk 1"){
              $osDiskId = $_.Key
         }
         elseif($_.DeviceInfo.Label -eq "Hard disk 2"){
              $dataDiskId = $_.Key
         }
    }

    $spec = New-Object VMware.Vim.VirtualMachineRelocateSpec

    $osRelocate = New-Object VMware.Vim.VirtualMachineRelocateSpecDiskLocator
    $osRelocate.Datastore = (Get-Datastore -Name $osDS).Extensiondata.MoRef
    $osRelocate.diskId = $osDiskId

    $dataRelocate = New-Object VMware.Vim.VirtualMachineRelocateSpecDiskLocator
    $dataRelocate.Datastore = (Get-Datastore -Name $dataDS).Extensiondata.MoRef
    $dataRelocate.diskId = $dataDiskId

    $spec.Disk = @($osRelocate,$dataRelocate)
    $spec.Datastore = (Get-Datastore -Name $vmxDS).Extensiondata.MoRef
    $spec.Host = $vm.Extensiondata.Summary.Runtime.Host

    $task = Get-View ($vm.Extensiondata.RelocateVM_Task($spec, "lowpriority"))
    while("running","queued" -contains $task.Info.State){
         $task.UpdateViewData("Info")
         sleep 5
    }

    BTW, you can use the cmdlet Set - hard disk to a virtual disk that is specific to a data store.

    But as I understood what is not possible in your environment.
