Migration to the new leading directory of Xcode 7.3.1 PCH errors

I moved my folder under/User to an another new update short user name folder.

Just fine, except when I ran Xcode 7.3.1 only he had the build errors referring to the former name of folder.  Locations is set correctly using the new name of the folder, but called the PCH cannot build because it uses the old directory.  How to update or do I just reinstall Xcode?  I have maintained the option down and rebuilt the cache but it fails to Run.  Xcode locked requiring a Force Quit

FIXED

delete the folder DerivedData under Xcode Developer Library

Simulator then had an error that is causing to Xcode crashing.  OK, the error message can go to the menu of Simulator for Reset blah blah blah...

And now Xcode is fixed and build projects.

  • Personal folders not visible in Thunderbirds after the migration to the new computer

I moved my computer to a new Thunderbird profile (and edited profiles.ini to point to the saved profile. Now, in Thunderbird on the new machine, I have the records box receipt, feels Local, Trash, but file folders with my registered and categorized mail subfolders is not visible in the left panel. It seems to be intact in the Mail/Local folders/Personal Folders.sbd/Archives.sbd folder, simply not visible when I run Thunderbird.

What should I do to get these folders and their subfolders again.

You store the mail belonging to "a folder for each email account" in the profile?

In other words, have you changed the "Local Directory" setting for these accounts?

  • FCP7 will not migrate to the new Macbook Pro

I am running FCP7 on a Macbook Pro OS 10.10.5 Yosemite. Recently my GPU Macbook died, if I swapped my hard drive in a new machine. All my programs and preferences and settings appear to have migrated EXCEPT fine, FCP. When I try to open it, I get a prompt for the serial No. I put in the serial and message 777 n. "'I don't have the original disks so cannot do a re-install, just write down the series.

I just try to open the program in order to convert the project files in XML format and open them in first.

    Any tips?

Wait... did you install the drive in another computer and try to boot from this drive? Or did you mount it and try to migrate applications off of it?

FCP 7 do not migrate. He moved around the library and file system, those who are not returned when migrate you, so many critical parts of the PCF are not reduced.  The only solution is that you can not do... install the installer DVD.

  • After the migration to the new iMac 10.11.3 - unable to repair permissions on your Photos App library

I bought a new iMac running El Capitan and migrated from my old iMac running 10.6.8 and opening of the Photos app after migration ended I see the error "failed to repair permissions on your library. Initially, when I open the Photo app, I'm asked to select the library migrated or create a new. I select the library migrated and then see the above error.

I tried on my new iMac running disk utility, and there is no error reported. "I tried too hold down the command and option keys when opening the Photo app and I go as far as the window pop up prompting me that" you are about to repair of the 'iPhoto Library' library but after selecting the repair, it returns the error "year error occurred while repairing permissions" and citing is the only option given.

I then tried to go back to my old iMac and did a full rebuild of my photo library using the command and option keys when opening iPhoto App and also ran disk utility. Then I made another backup from time machine fees and moved once more to my new iMac. This has not improved the question, and I see the same mistakes.

I also tried the iPhoto App 3rd party download manager but it does not allow me to open the application because it returns the error iPhoto Library Manager, must have iPhoto 8.1.2 or later must be installed. Of course when you run 10.11.3. My App Photo conforms to this requirement.

I am really confused on this issue and would appreciate any help or advice for this problem.

    Kind regards

  • Migrate to the new data center

    Hi all

I want to migrate to a display of a new data center environment in a different physical location.

I like to keep the original ip addresses and FQDNs.

Is it best practice for this type of migration methods?

I have two drivers, composer, brokers security server, 160 related clones with persistent records.

We do not have a connection in fiber between the sites, so cannot perform a rebalancing.

There will be a cut-over on the last weekend.

    Concerning

    John

You can use something like veeam vSphere replication to copy virtual machines to the other site and then just turn the 'old' off the coast and the new ones on. Your biggest problem will be changing hosts. Only other option might be to physically move the old hardware to the new site. Persistent drives will be a pain. I would like to have more useful for you answers.

  • Recently, I had to create a new user profile on my computer and am currently loaded with my accounting software of the migration to the new profile.

I am hoping there is a simpler alternative to migrate my work in lightroom, as if it were a new computer.  The paths are the same.

I am a little disappointed because I thought at the very least, to logging into the software would reach out to the cloud and find my complete collections.

After all, I can view on my mobile.

In any case, I just want to get my work without having to do another import.   There must be a reason behind these weekly backups right?  Is there a way to recover them?

    Hi moto66,

    Greetings.

What version of LR you use.

You need to transfer your catalog and images on the new user account.

Once you have all the images and catalogue on this new user account, given correctly, related images you should be able to see your collections.

And also make sure that there is no broken in the catalog and images link, if this link to find missing persons of the images while transferring data to a new user account use

  • CS4 will not load after migration to the new imac

I've migrated just of my older iMac to a new iMac.

When I try to load photoshop I get an error: 150:30

Apparently my license has been affected and is not recognized for the new computer.

I have the CD; However, the new iMac do not have a reader of DVD player.

Can I download it from the adobe site?  If Yes, should I completely remove my old program CS4?

Migration does not work for the Adobe programs.  Uninstall everything first, then use the cleaning tool before installing.

  • Dreamweaver CS5.5 no longer works since the migration to the new iMac. How can I re - install?

I have a subscription Adobe CC for InDesign, but am still ongoing for Photoshop and Dreamweaver CS5. Recently all migrated to a new iMac running Yosemite, and since then, Dreamweaver does more (no problems with Photoshop). See screen shot of the error message. I thought that the simple answer would be to reinstall but can't figure out how. I don't have an installation disc - CS5.5 was a download. But when I log into my account, Adobe, CS5 products are not listed. I vaguely remember my manager has bought a lot of licenses for us user, and I have a note of the serial numbers.Screen Shot 2015-07-10 at 10-07-15, 18.11.39.png

If you have the info set, you should be able to use the cleanup tool to remove the program all together (migrating from one machine to another rarely ever works), then download the correct version of Adobe, install and enter your registration information to activate...

  • CS4 has migrated to the new iMac - am getting error code 150:30

All my programs have migrated to a new iMac - none of the CS4 programs will launch.  I get the message "licensing for this product has stopped working" following the advice on the Adobe site, I downloaded the license recovery tools, but get the message "can't open 'Licence recovery Launcher' application because the PowerPC applications are no longer supported.  Any advice as to the next step would be appreciated.

Migration does not work for the Adobe programs.  You must install using installation files.  Uninstall what you have, use the cleaning tool and reinstall download if you don't have a disc.

  • Suggestion on Vcenter DB migration on the new virtual machine and enhancement vcenter server

    Hello

I'm looking for any suggestion/plan with Vcenter DB migration steps towards the new virtual machine, and then upgrade the server vcenter

    4.1 for Update1/2

    My plan will be

    (1) creating new virtual machine.

    (2) fresh install 64-bit OS

    (3) migration Vcenter DB of the physical server to the new virtual machine.

    (4) upgrade to Vcenter Server 4.1 update 41 4.1 Update1/2

Anything else missing then please let me know.

    Thank you

    vmguy

    Hi vmguy

    I agree with this approach

    (3) migration Vcenter DB of the physical server to the new virtual machine.

As long as you leave the old DB in tact and simply detach and copy the DB to the new Victoria Cross.

Before you run the upgrade on the new VC and DB.

This way, you have a restoration plan in case something goes wrong with the upgrade.

    Just to add:

You must migrate the ADAM database so to maintain the specified permissions vCenter

    See: Migrateing vCenter new host

Please allow points if you find this useful/correct

  • Migrated to the new computer - now Creative Cloud Desktop Application will not work

    Hello

After migrating to a new computer (Mac Book Pro running OS 10.9.4) I can't run any of my creative cloud apps. When I try to start, I get a prompt to download and reinstall the Application Manager. After installation, the creative cloud dropdown tray is completely empty without list of applications or him sign-in fields, and I get the same prompt when you try to start an application.

I tried reinstalling several times, so to delete the opm.db file but still no luck.

I'm completely stuck here, what more I can try?

Problem solved by a very helpful guy on the support chat!

(I'm sorry, but I can't say what was really the cause that it was fixed by remote access)
