Miniature icon

What is the small icon bottom right of some of my thumb nails? Looks like a camera, I think.

Check out this list of badge overlays, you can see on the thumbnails:

https://help.Apple.com/photos/Mac/1.0/?lang=en#/phta4e5a733f

is the badge you see one of them?

Most of these badges will show in the left corner of thumbnails, will only the 'Photo has been edited' show in the right corner, the first element of the list. What do you see?

    Hello Nathan Sokalski,.

For now, I suggest that you need to find 3rd party options to be able to view PSD thumbnails.

I recommend that send you feedback to Microsoft about the lack of this feature in Windows 7.
    http://mymfe.Microsoft.com/Windows%207/feedback.aspx?formid=195

The feedback is read and discussed.

This is a thread about this on the Adobe forums.

It is the only solution I can offer at the moment.

  • XP to design miniature icon Windows 7

XP has thumbnails that makes photos to find quickly and easily with (4) small tables placed in front of a Manila folder displaying what was inside. Windows 7 has the manilla folder on its side with a small part on the side of the images coming out. I find it more difficult to navigate in Windows 7, the amount of the image shown on the part that comes out of the folder only shows a portion of an image. Under XP, I could tell what was what folder immediately without having to guess and open several folders to find the one I need. Is there a way to get the previous view of the icon in Windows 7? Microsoft plans to reorganize the icons in the previous appearance? Am I stupid and just missed a setting somewhere that will change all the icons in my pictures folders?

    Hello

This feature does not exist in Windows 7. If you do not want to see this feature in future versions of Windows, I recommend sending your comments using the link below:

  • Miniature icon for video and Audio files

    Hi all

For images, we can scale the image and use that as an icon and click on the icon, I can display the main Bitmap.

Is it possible to do it for the creation of a kind of video/audio gallary of things?

For Audio - I thought I can have the same icon and the text name. During the click on who we can write the code to play the audio.

For video - example like Youtube. They have icon for each video, which is a snapshot of the video somewhere. I don't know if they separately store the take a snapshot icon while we upload video or something like that.

Possible is something similar to create sib or we need to manually store the icons for each video or something like that, so that the user can scroll the icons and play the video.

    Thank you

    Sandeep

It should not be a problem if you use small icons. How many videos you lists at once.

  • Questions of miniatures, files show icon and no thumbnails

Original title: QUESTIONS MINIATURES - FILES SHOW ICON AND NOT of THUMBNAILS

I need help to solve my problem with my file which contains (obtained from the internet) RealPlayer flv videos. A few days ago I could see thumbnails when I opened the folder where each element has shown the thumbnail. Now, I see is the icon of Realplayer R. So far, I performed the following action points: 1 never ran a FULL scan - no threats 2. conducted a scan of the registry and corrected all errors 3. Open the folder and I clicked on 'folder and search options', clicked the view tab and make sure the "Always" display icons never thumbnails was NOT checked 4. in Control Panel, select system, select Advanced setting of the system, select performance setting, provided "always show icons never thumbnails" was hot checked 5. has run c:sfc / scannow - found no issues or problems 6. I tried c:regsvr32 shmedia.dll - he did not recognize. 7. do you have a disk cleanup - did not help 8. went on the Panel, clicked on the Option to record, made sure "Always - miniature" was not checked - has not helped. I can sure use the help because I ran out of options. I can open RealPlayer will display the icon on my desktop and thumbnails. My operating system is Vista Home Premium 32-bit. Thank you

    Diana,

Thank you for having responded to my problem with thumbnail. I tried with a new user account, and the issue exist yet - NO single miniature icon. Any other thoughts or recommendations?

I just fixed my problem - I went to the internet and connected to RealPlayer.com and download their latest version. IT WORKED! Everything is back to normal.

  • Thumbnail bitmap vs for icons

When I download images to the computer of my camera, the photos are here but the image / icon that displays is a generic picture of a flower.  It used to not do and would show the thumbnail of the image.  I can't understand how to change it back.  If I look at the view I can only make the icons smaller or larger, or the list of people... I can't understand it, but I'm not too familiar with Windows 7.

    Thank you!

3 possible causes that I know

    (1) it is disabled in system > advanced system settings > advanced > Performance
    (2) the folder options > view > always show not miniature icons is checked
    (3) thumbnail cache is corrupted which can be removed by cleaning disc (you may need to logout and log in again after that)
  • Miniature issue of PSE Organizer 9

I took a lot of photos at a wedding neices using a Canon EOS 350 d. I use Photoshop Elements 9 in my software installation and the organizer of a large number of thumbnails go up like a bevelled plate grey featuring a Marguerite and an exclamation point in a blue triangle. I have spent ages searching the site & manual Adobe and cannot find a reason or explanation of the thumbnail. At first, I thought it could be related to size but lots of pictures which are the largest display correct thumbnails. I tried to update the thumbnails using the Edit menu, but that does not do anything. Does anyone have any suggestions? TIA Glenys

Search the Web for the description of this icon turned up a few messages in this forum.  Apparently, the original image is too big for a thumbnail to be generated.  Without more explanation if it is the size of the image or the size of the file that is too large - a message has a link to an article in the Adobe Knowledge Base, but this link is now broken.

Found this in the PSE9 release notes:

    function() {return A.apply (null, [this] .concat ($A (arguments)))}

    Thumbnails of the Organizer:

    • If an image was shot in one program other than Photoshop Elements 9, update the thumbnail print or use the image in a creation to ensure that images appear correctly rotated. To update the thumbnail, select the images and choose the thumbnail of to update or update of fusion for selected items in the Edit menu.
    • Some TIFF files and files that use rare color profiles may appear black or generic thumbnail in the Organizer. To resolve this problem, select the file, then choose export file as a new file (s). This saves the file with the game in support of the labels file required by the Organizer to display thumbnails.
    • Very large files appear with generic labels. For example, panoramas created with Photomerge Panorama return several layers, which, upon registration, creates very large files. To make visible photos in the Organizer, think to save it panorama flattened JPEG image files
    • Files that are not supported in the Organizer look like broken miniature icons. You can import these files by recording an album containing a file in a format not supported by using the Photoshop elements editor or import of files not supported by the Organizer, using Premiere Elements.

  • Cannot view PSD files in windows Explorer

Not sure why this is, but I just get a miniature icon that says PSD rather than see a preview of the file.  Also the message 'file type cannot be displayed' when you attempt to view with Photo Viewer. Help, please! I have Windows 7 Professional.

    Hello
Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft forums.

You must install Adobe Photoshop 7.0 or higher to view these thumbnails using explore.  Don't use third-party products, this will slow down the performance of your pc.

  • Program clicked photos not stay on top

Example: Mozilla Firefox G-mail running fullscreen. Place the cursor on the reminder - miniature icon appears. Click on the thumbnail - Sticky notes appear. If I don't get a cursor IMMEDIATELY to reminder, it goes behind the window of Firefox. If I get the cursor to the 'new' window in time it stays on top. If I close the Firefox window, reminder is still active and displays it. It works with all programs (not just Firefox) everything was fine until a few weeks ago. I tried restoring from point of previous restoration - no luck. I use an Aero theme. Have searched and searched for a framework I may be changed by mistake and can't find anything. Help

Never mind. I thought about it. I had the mouse settings: activate a window in-flight stationary over it with the mouse, turned on. Simple answer when you know what it is. Thank you for considering this issue, the community. Babyhannah1997

  • The display of thumbnails of images in Windows 8

    * Unsolved, BUT are NO LONGER looking for ANSWER. All the advice did NOT work. There was something wrong with the computer, and when I got to another computer I didn't this problem.  I don't have the computer that had this problem any longer. I'm not looking for a solution any longer.

I have a Windows computer 8 that don't show me icons when I'm in the file Explorer and the pictures folder. I made sure 'show not miniature icon' is NOT checked in the folder options as well as ensure that it is in view 'broad' or 'extra large' so I can get thumbnails. However, all that he will show me is the icon. What Miss me?

IT WORKED FOR ME AND WINDOWS 8.1!

HOWEVER, I had to uncheck or untick all the boxes under the custom user setting and then click on SHOW THUMBNAIL instead of ICON. It's a SOLUTION and I'll see if I can come back at a later date and add some other features that I love and that you use on the animation and using the magnifying glass. I'm on a new machine from ASUS with large HD and RAM-no reason in the world that I can't have the thumbnail of TWO photos AND fun Animations, smoothing the contours, etc. For now, I'm happy and want to thank the person who took the time to take screenshots. Nothing else has worked. I've done it before even looking for help, but not a NOT choose CUSTOM and uncheck all but the one I really need. I hope this information helps others!

This should allow you to display thumbnails of images.

I tried to import or play the files using the latest version of PlayMemoryHome. Did not help. I see empty miniature icons.

    I formatted the SD card,
Staples lower than 4 GB are played without any problems.

There is no option of 30 MB/s for this camera, I assume you mean 30 p (framerate).

Personally, I had problems with the Samsung card, I tried to use it once, I'm going with SanDisk since then.

The card you received is either broken or his writespeed is too slow (48 MB/s is the speed of reading).

The device requires a card with a consistent minimum writespeed of 6.25 MB/s, which equates to 50Mbit/s.

48 MB/s is equal to 384 Mbps - yet, as I said - it is only the maximum writespeed has nothing to do with the video recording.

  • How to keep separated from the other adjustment layers layers (PSE8)?

I would like some tips on how to keep to a standard layer adjustment layers to adjust the background (lower) layer.

    Scenario:

I created a solid background layer as a backdrop to the image of a small sculpture. The bottom layer is a layer of just the image of the sculpture. Above the layer of the image of the sculpture are a number of adjustment layers that are supposed to apply to the sculpture only layer. I would like to know how to store the adjustment layers above to adjust the background layer (lower).

    Thank you

Highlight each adjustment layer in the palette layers (Ctrl + click)

    Press Ctrl + G

The miniature icons should move slightly to the right with an arrow indicating the saturation for the sculpture below layer downwards.
