  CAPTIVATE 8 ANOMALIES/SUGGESTIONS:

  • Is there a reason to type a zero under the width of line objects and fill opacity? We have lost the ability as well, select it in the list somewhere of 5.5. Why we cannot drag the value or label with the mouse, the ala CP 5.5 or controls of Photoshop? Why Adobe did you remove apparently useful feature?
  • In the image crop dialog box, you can not keep maintain size checked and check the Proportion of constraint (that should constrain Proportion, btw - drop the t). So I can not simply crop the edge off of the image and keep it at its current size - not original.
  • Under properties > character, I can't click on the name of the font and other areas to bring the list of fonts or change the font settings. Seems a shame to lose all that space and designate the user click on the arrow icon only little. Slows me down every time. I think that the idea is to type the first letter of the name of the police or other, but this is different from measures taken of most the other selection fields to Captivate and not something that I find useful here. Other areas have "cliquabilite" characteristic of ground overall.
  • The color selection dialog gets stuck on the last color assigned when changing the color of the selected text in a text block. For example, if I want to highlight the different not contiguous words in yellow, you must click another color, the same color you just use (in this case yellow) so he can change.

  Fully agree that we should have the scrubber or a cursor as in other Adobe applications opacity and stroke width, or even have the symbol of the void.  Some fields have the cleaning brush, others not. I discovered that if you use the arrow keys to change the values and confirm you once, then the update on the stage is powered but in other Adobe applications, live from the beginning. I am labeling this incompatibility and was the first to be happy when CP5 approximates UI other Adobe applications and was very sad when it was done back much CP8.

  I try to avoid to do that in first Grade, it is after all not an image of the culture editor.

  For fonts, I type a sequence of characters to join the police desired, as 'mus' Museo, or "lat" to Palatino. As new filtering option (undocumented, at least that on my blog and online seminars a few I presented) is available in stocks advanced as well, very useful, more useful than the old alphabetical order allowing only the first letter.   I never use the palette that you're talking about, but the one under the first button in the color dialog box, which has 10 theme colors and 5 additional shades for every theme color. The link between the swatches Panel (you need to import an ase file) and the colors of theme could be improved, but it is already a big improvement on the previous color management. For most of the interactions, the colors of theme can be applied as well, not even for all.

  Since you don't seem to be a beginner, why do you stay with that (sorry for the word 'stupid') beginner UI? Check the 4th option in preferences, General settings and you will be able to reconstruct (partially, because minimizing panels or docks to icons is no longer possible, which is a shame), workspaces, and have all the panels in the window menu.

  Update a project from versions both of: 5.5, 6, 6.1, 7 and 8 is always risky.  Perhaps that explains what happened with variables, actions.

  I just discovered this message that solves a problem that concerns me for a long time

  More precisely: some applications of the mine should run maximized so I use SetPanelAttribute (hparent, ATTR_WINDOW_ZOOM, VAL_MAXIMIZE); to show directly the main table in full screen. According to the help of the function, the definition of the ATTR_WINDOW_ZOOM attribute still makes visible the Panel so I is not required (and do not in fact) DisplayPanel to display the window.   IM usin the Labview DSC module for a GI Bill is currently working on. I created my shared variables and am now trying to create my VI to display the data on a façade. The problem I have is when I select my shared variables and try slide them on my Panel until the front panel keeps minimizing. I hope this isn't a stupid question but no idea how to solve. I have attached a screenshot to illustrate my problem

  Some (most) icons in my control panel do not work. When I double click on it, I don't get an error message. I don't get an hourglass. They just don't do anything. Oddly, they seem to all be related to changes or add/remove elements (for example, add/remove program, display, user accounts, etc.). I searched internet and found a few .cpl files that allow me to access these items through the feature 'run '. When I do that, I am able to use the work in them. This makes me think the lies of the issue with shortcut icon / itself and not with the function (Add/Remove Programs, display, etc.).

  I have custom palettes for Illustrator who have the ability to get out of the way, similar to native pallets.  Under Windows, my reduced = true; work order and shrinks palette in a small bar, that I love.  However, same command on Mac does not have the case.

• Transform Panel that appears by default

  Since the upgrade by 2014 CC, whenever I have a rectangle, the Panel turn appears by default. Personally, I like my workspace will be minimal, so I find it distracted whenever it appears.

• Creating custom using Extension Builder 3 Panel icon?

  How should we do about adding a custom icon for extension set with Extension Builder 3 signs?

  Found.

  1. In Eclipse, choose window > Open Perspective > other > Adobe Extension Builder 3.
  2. Right click on your project, and select Adobe Extension Builder 3-> Bundle manifest Editor.
     This editor allows you to change the properties of your extension
  3. Bundle Manfest editor > leg Extension (bottom) > tab User Interface (back to top).  Images used .png and it worked.

• problem of height Panel tabs

  I have a page in development at http://treatment-algorithm.BusinessCatalyst.com/Traumeel.html

  The page contains a tab panel in which I inserted nested accordions. After much frustration, I finally managed to get the heights of individual accordions to behave, but now I have a question on the right tab (which does not contain of accordions - just a block of text). I can't reduce the height of this Panel to something similar at least 2 other tabs in height. Can someone take a look and see if they can identify where I'm wrong?

  With the release of Muse 4.0 today, you can have the accordion panel to 'Close all' in Design view. So in your case, just close all panels accordion in Design view, as you have immediately after post and reduce the height of the tabs Panel to as minimal as possible.
