Missing a status page 'connected wireless clients' WRT610N

.. .and that makes me crazy. It is a simple feature, why this is not implemented? Each wireless router I've seen so far (Linksys or other) had this feature... Or am I missing something?

It is 'hidden' on the wireless MAC filtering page. See also this demo ui.

  • Wireless clients cannot connect to the wired client

So, I have a server connected to the router via Ethernet, a laptop computer connected by WiFi and desktop also connected via Ethernet. The laptop used to connect to the server, but all of a sudden it no longer, and yet the Office can always connect to the server.

I have encountered this problem before and disable SIP ALG solved the problem, SIP ALG is always off and wireless isolation is disabled for all my wireless networks, in fact before the occurrence of the issue, no changes to the router configuration. I have also excluded the firewall of the server causing problems as the issue continues to perform with her at sea, even with the laptop because it is the same with any wireless client.

I use the version of the firmware V1.0.0.90_1.0.90, my server is running CentOS 7 and my laptop and desktop running Windows 10 Pro.

For anyone else having this problem: I solved by powercycling (power off, wait 10 seconds and turn back on) the router.

  • C7280 connected wireless is unable to print the test page is in the queue.

I managed to install my C7280 wireless for my laptop but I can't seem to get anything to acually impression of the laptop.  However, I CAN print from the pc.  Whenever I try to print from the laptop, things simply to sit in the queue.

To sum up my network; I have a desktop (Vista) connected to a router.  A laptop computer (XP) and the C7280 are connected wireless to the router.  I installed the base driver HP update listed on the Web site on the laptop.  I can ping the printer from the laptop, so I know that the two are properly connected to the router.

I checked the port on the laptop to the printer, and it is directed to the IP address.  Everything gets a static IP address on my router, so I don't know its correct.  I printed out a page of the network printer, and it is configured on the IP of the right.

    Any ideas?

Well I never needed to dig into the router or the security of the software on the laptop.  Once I got the driver installed and stable (and that was not easy), all that was needed was a fresh printer.  I have reset the default printer and wiped my previous network settings.  Once I have manually reconfigure the network settings on the printer again, he started just feel by far.  A little strange behavior since no settings have been changed.  Anyway, problem solved.  You should consider adding this step in your process walkthroughs.

    Thanks for all the help.

  • VM XP not connect wirelessly with the home network or wireless printers

I'll start with the problem and ask anyone and I'll fill in what information (drivers, programs, etc.) are required to complete the problem and I hope that we will find a solution together!

I have Windows 7 64-bit (professional course) and it was installed with the Office of the virtual XP computer 2 years ago. It runs in a SONY laptop VAIO VPCS111FM, with core i5 model. Seagate 500 GB HARD drive. 2.5 GHz, 4.0 GB of RAM.

The problem is that all the other computers I have (running XP, Mac, iPad, etc.) are all able to connect wireless internet and printing using the home router (Mac Airport Express) (yes I know right way was the other way around, but too late, too much money and time spent in the wrong direction). Windows 7 of course works in the laptop for two HP printers wireless, but not the XP Virtual Machine. Nothing can be printed off the coast of the XP to every CV (6500 has more (too advanced in any case) or the printer HP Officejet 8500 wireless.

Of course, you know why I'm here. Help SONY expired, Best Buy, which has installed the purchase and we admit, Windows 7 Professional 64 bit and also installed the Office XP (it's their very very first download this system, because I know they spent over an hour on the phone with Microsoft (I had to prove that I was, the owner, before they would talk to Best Buy)) , installation and there is 2 years back and they always say nothing is wrong and we will charge for the search under the name of all the guarantees and free assistance have expired. Of course the last wrinkle is that Microsoft is now in charge me $100 just to answer the question of why his doesn't like his "XP" and even if its share of Windows 7! its still "XP" and gets load!

HP was great and discovered that the IP Code starts by (if all goes well to say don't compromise the first three digits protection WEP ISP we have 192 for the XP VM, while everything (including MAC and iPad) everything starts with...) 10.! and have done all these years, we have had the system wireless installed (since 2004).

Can someone help me get my XP connected wireless? What's wrong? What is missing?

Furthermore, the Ethernet card is this green icon and no question mark or anything in the XP VM except 5 weird listed as "other devices." In Device Manager is NICs: Intel 21140 - based PCI Fast Ethernet Adapter (generic). In the section "Other devices" are: 5 copies of 'Virtual PC intégration Device' air conditioned and have question marks still under "Properies" and "Device status" all say "this device is working properly" no clue as to why mark her quesiton showing! Sequel to "Troubleshooting" only me ends with "contact the manufacturer or installer etc., which means significant costs because there is no more free ride or ensure the installation after 2 years!

    I hope this helps everyone!

If I install a program that requires the Internet it can NOT find the internet on its own! (i.e. put HP program or other small program that I tried to install my XP needs the 'internet' else to register before using it!).

BUT THANKS to YOU all! While searching for information complete this application I hit the tab of "USB" top XP VM and unknown device (my DVD?) and HP 8500 printer could be installed via "USB" so at least for the FIRST TIME in 2 years they are printing and working on the USB cable! This isn't a separate DVD, but the one inside the laptop. Sometimes, it works on the XP desktop, most of the time I navigate the DVD disk and force the autorun from running by using "RUN" in the start menu. I still don't know what happens if I spell (or close safely) the peripheral attached USB (printer) or if it will tie next time without putting in place (he has created four more settings of printer/fax machine (series 2!) on my list of printers.) I don't know what is happening, but its nice to see a page out of the "Notepad"or "wordpad" for the first time in two years! ".

Now, all I need is to happen wireless!

Thanks to all who read this far! Great thanks to all those who wish to help!

  • I lost my connection Wireless at home.

I have a time capsule/router.  I lost my connection Wireless at home.  Cannot get internet connection to one of my computers/devices in the home.  Help!

    Need to load more information.

Feeding cycle you the entire network... Start up in the correct sequence?

    Modem... Wait 2 min

    TC... Wait 2 min

    Client devices.

    If this does not work...

Tell us everything... what model is the modem? Is this also a router?

What model is the TC... The base A1xxx please?

The fact the main TC on... amber green or flashing led?

Taken in a computer by ethernet that get you internet with wired connection, just all the wireless clients are turned off?

Tell us about such things and we can work from there.

But I suggest you a factory reset as well... Here are the basics.

Start from a factory reset. No files are lost on the drive hard in doing so.

    Universal factory reset

Turning off the TC... That is, remove the power supply cord or the power at the wall outlet, wait 10 seconds... Hold the reset button... be nice... Turn on always even now in reset... and keep holding in for another 10 seconds. You may need assistance because it is difficult to hold in reset and power on. It will show the success quickly flashing led front. Release reset... and wait a few minutes for the TC to reset and return with the factory settings. If the front LED flashes quickly you missed and simply try again. The reset is quite fragile in these... Press the key while it is just click away and not more... I've seen people bend lever or even break. I use a toothpick as a tool.

NB. None of your files on the hard drive of the TC are removed... This simply clears the settings of the router of the TC.

    The installer the TC.

And then redo the configuration of the computer with the Mavericks - Yosemite - ElCapo. (MYELCAP)

    1. the use of very short names... NO APPLE RECOMMENDED names. Without the space and pure alphanumeric characters.

for example TCgen5 for the base station and the name of the TCwifi wireless.

If the problem is using wireless TC24ghz and TC5ghz with fixed channels as it also seems to help stop the nonsense. But it can be tried in the second round. IE, plan on a first and second series of changes to fix this... If all goes well... I note other steps can you tour2.

    2. use all passwords also consistent with 1. but maybe a little longer. IE 8 and 20 characters of mixed cases and numbers... no alphanumeric non-caracteres.

    3. If the TC is router, you can ignore this point. It is only a problem when the TC is bridged.

If ensure that the TC is always the same IP address... you will need to do this on the main router using a dhcp reservation... or a bit more complex setup by using the static IP address in the TC. But it's important for deriving from intellectual property in all directions when MYELCAP do not remember his name for 5 min after a reboot done for poor network management.

    4. check that your share on the computer name does not change... Make sure that it is also in line with the above... short without space and pure alphanumeric... but this change will mess up your TM backup... so be prepared to make a new, full backup. Sorry... keep this one for the second round, if you want to avoid a new backup.

5 attach the TC disc into the computer manually.

In Finder, go, connect to the server in the main menu,

Type in SMB://192.168.0.254 (or whatever ip of TC is that you made static. It's a default router 10.0.1.1 and I encourage people to stick with it unless you know what you're doing).

You can use the name... SMB://TCgen5.local where you replace TCgen5 with your name of TC... local is the default domain of the TC and does not change.

However the names are not so easy as... the IP address nor reliable. They are not at least not in Yosemite. The field can also be a problem if you are not clogged or wireless directly to the Treasury Board.

    6. ensure that IPv6 is set to link-local only in the computer. For example wireless open network, wireless and Advanced preferences / TCP/IP... and the difficulty of IPv6. link-local only. Do the same for the ethernet if you use it.

It is a lot more jiggery pokery, you can try, but the above is a good start... If you still find not reliable... don't be surprised.

You may need to do more work on the computer itself. for example, to reset the NVRAM/PRAM/SMC... helped some people. A clean installation of the operating system is also useful if you update installed.

  • How to connect wireless the WRT54GS

I have a router WRT54GS I want install Wireless with my Windows XP desktop that has only an installed wireless adapter. There is no ethernet on the pc port. I have reviewed the Stickys are and read that FAQ, but still did not find a response stating clearly how to set up the router without using an ethernet cable connected to the pc. I want to be able to access the configuration page based on the web as well for what I can fix my settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As a general rule, it is best to configure the router using a wired connection to be sure that you set up your router and not someone else... So if you have any wired ethernet device, it is best to use it rather than try a wireless only configuration.

You can set only through wireless, however, you must ensure that you are connected to your router at the beginning. More simple test would be to unplug your router power and control for available wireless networks. If there is still a "linksys" network to be seen, you must be very careful.

Anyway, and then reconnect your router to power. Do your research to computer networks and connect to the network not secure "linksys". It is best to put the computer near the router to do this to make sure that you connect to your router.

Then open the web interface at http://192.168.1.1/ default password should be "admin", no required user name.

To be sure, it's your router, go to the status page, see that it's really a WRT54GS and check MAC address, that you see here. It must be identical to that printed in the WRT (maybe one or two off the coast in the last digit). If it comes from a completely different MAC address, check local and SubTabs wireless network and MAC addresses there. If all MAC addresses are completely different, unplug the router from the power and see if your computer is always connected to the interface web or not.

Anyway, once you have established this really is the web interface of the router, check the version of firmware and on the router and that is available online. It is better to update the firmware before doing the configuration. If you have the latest firmware, you must configure the router. I recommend the following steps:

    1. go to the wireless page. Change the SSID to something unique. Save the settings.

    2. you will lose the connection. Redo your computer search for networks. You should now see the new unique SSID. To connect to this network and reopen the web interface.

    3. then set up wireless security. Enable WPA2-Personal with AES encryption and set a strong password. Save the settings. You will lose the connection.

    4. now, you have to reconnect. Depending on your computer and use the software to set up the wireless, you may need to remove the unique SSID firstly in the preferred network list before you can reconnect. Usually, the computer remembers the SSID joined before and does not connect if security settings do not match the one used before. But you should know that.

    5. as you are still using XP the computer may not support WPA2 and AES encryption (which is the best and strongest that you can use today). So, if you're absolutely not able to reconnect to the computer you will need to reset the default router by pressing the reset for 30 seconds button and start over. Then choose personal WPA with TKIP and a strong password. It should work. I would not recommend to use WEP is easily broken.

    6. Once you have successfully set up your desktop to connect to your secure wireless network, you should make a change more: change the password for "admin" on the configuration page "Administration".

    7. don't forget to clean the list of preferred wireless networks, in particular, do not forget to remove the network "linksys" to this list. Otherwise, your computer can automatically connect to a network "linksys" if one comes available nearby.

    This should be it.

  • HP 6500 E309n cannot connect wireless with 10.7 (Lion)

I have a printer wireless HP 6500 E309n which worked fine in Snow Leopard, but not after the update to Lion.

In system preferences, I can query power and using the printer utility levels, I CAN print a test page, but I can't print a configuration page.  Print a page configuration results in the message "could not print the configuration page.

When I try to print from an application program I get the message "the printer is unresponsive.

However, when I access the printer directly from Safari, I can print a page of "status of printer report."

Yes, I have "reset" my printers (delete all printers) and reinstalled the 6500.  Yes, I went through a software update.  Yes, the printer works fine with other computers on the network.

    Help...

    It's weird.

I unplugged and physically moved the printer next to the router to test a connection via a ethernet cable (worked fine) then he moved the machine to Lion to connect via USB (worked fine).  When I then connected wireless, it also worked fine.

Apparently simply cut the power and reboot did the trick.

  • Very slow connection on the WRT610N

I bought a brand new WRT610N recently but didn't experience any improvement in speed, therefore began to study a little.

I have a broadband cable, 30 Mbps connection.

Cable modem is connected to a network adapter.

An another output-power adapter is connected to the WRT610N

now, when I connect my laptop through the router (wired or wireless makes no difference), my (upc speedtest) speed is about 5 Mbps.

When I connect to the internet via cable to uplink on the router, I have 12 Mbps.

When I connect directly to the cable modem, I have 28 Mbps.

So, a big loss is caused by food taken thingies, I can get more quickly those who or stop using them at all. But what causes the loss of the router? All I can do about it? It shouldn't give me easily the 12 Mbit/s, it becomes itself?

    Any help appreciated.

If connect you your computer to the WRT610N, you should be able to get on the same 28 Mbps you get from your cable modem.  Since you get only 5 to 12 Mbps wired, this suggests that there is probably a problem of basic configuration.

    (1) have updated the firmware on the router?  If so, after the update of the firmware, you reset the default router, and then configure the router again from scratch?  If you do not reset the router by default since the last update of the firmware, then please do it now and see if it solves your problem.  If you have saved a file of configuration of the router, DO NOT use it - you must configure the router again from scratch.  See "Reset to Factory Defaults" below.

    (2) using peer-to-peer (P2P) software?  If so, it is a known cause of slowdowns of router and disconnections.  The problem can occur even if you are not currently running the P2P software.  Stop using the P2P software.  It may take up to 5 days for your router erase from his memory.

If the above does not solve your router, then proceed as follows:

    (3) Please indicate your ISP

    (4) Please indicate the make and exact model of your modem (not the WRT610N) number.

    (5) Please do the following test:

Put your entire network.  Using an ethernet cable, connect your modem directly to your computer.  (Do not use the WRT610N for this test).  Turn on the modem and the computer.  Make sure you have an active Internet connection, then go ahead with what follows: (even if your Internet connection does not work, include this and move forward.)

Go to 'Start' > all programs > Accessories > command prompt.
A black DOS window will appear. Type "ipconfig/all" (with no quotes), and press the Enter key.   Copy all results in your next post.  To make the copy, highlight the results, and then use the keys copy (Ctrl-c) and paste (Ctrl-v) keys.  If your "IP address" does not begin with 192.168, then for security reasons, delete the latter half of your IP address.

    Reset to factory settings *.

To reset your router by default, follow these steps:

    (1) turn off all computers, the router and the modem and disconnect from the wall.
    (2) disconnect all the wires of the router.
    (3) turn on the router and let it start up completely (1-2 minutes).
    (4) press in and hold the reset for 30 seconds button, then release it, then let the router reset and restart (2-3 minutes).
    (5) turn the router.
    (6) connect a computer cable to port 1 of the router (NOT to the internet port).
    (7) turn on the router and let it start up completely (1-2 minutes).
    (8) the power of the computer (if the computer has a wireless card, make sure it's off).
    (9) try ping on the router. To do this, click the 'Start' button > all programs > Accessories > command prompt. A black DOS window will appear. Enter the following text: "ping 192.168.1.1" (without the quotes) and press the Enter key. You will see 3 or 4 lines that begin with ' response to... ". "or"Request timed out". If you see "reply from...". ", your computer has found your router.
    (10) open your browser and point it to 192.168.1.1. This will take you to the login page of your router. Leave the user name blank and in the password field, enter "admin" (without the quotes). This will take you to your router configuration page. Note the version number of your firmware (usually found near upper right corner of the screen). Exit your browser.

If you get this day without problem, try the Setup disk (or configure the router manually, if you prefer) and see if you can get your work and router configuration.

If you can not ' response to... ". "in step 9 above, your router is probably dead. A report with this problem

If you get a response in step 9, but cannot complete step 10, is that your router is dead or the firmware is damaged. Related to this issue.

If you need additional help, please give the results of steps 9 and 10. In addition, if you receive error messages, copy them exactly, and report.

Please let me know how things turn out for you.

  • LabVIEW - Arduino TCP/IP, connecting multiple Clients

    Hello

I'm working on a connection TCP/IP between an Arduino shield WIFI control with several sensors and a LabVIEW program. You use a router, I set up a wireless network without internet that allows me to transmit the readings from the sensor of the MCU and send commands to control LabVIEW program. Currently, the Arduino is the server with the program LabVIEW connects to it as a customer and I would like the opportunity to add other clients such as a smartphone application at the same time. I am not able to connect several clients for my server Arduino based and wonder if and how this would be possible if the server was created on my computer using LabVIEW instead.

I searched for help on the Arduino forums (http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php?topic=268578) and comments ranged from "Arduino can support multiple clients" to "Arduino can support multiple clients but it is full of errors. While it would be easier to achieve my goals by having the server on the MCU, as much data would be sent directly to each poll, the client I plan to switch to a server on computer using LabVIEW. My question is whether it would be possible to have multiple clients access to my new server, and if so, how it would be difficult to relay data from the sensor? The old plant requires the same data string for each client connected to my server. The new configuration appears as it would take the server to treat customers differently; Send commands to the MCU customer and data of the sensor of the MCU customer to everyone. Another layer of complexity is that I would need to relay controls of other clients in the same way, as the phone app smart sends a stop test command, to the Arduino via the LabVIEW program.

Would be very grateful of entry to the community.

    Best,

    Yusif Nurizade

You can create a server in LabVIEW that accepts connections from several clients. There are examples of different approaches to this in examples of shipment of LabVIEW and on this forum. As for the challenge of sorting where to send the data and how to transmit orders, it is-there is nothing that would make whether easier or harder in LabVIEW that in any other environment.

  • eprint is broken? There is no status page

I have a laser jet m475dw. When I click on the apps button it displays "downloaded from the Internet" for several minutes and then fails. Unable to connect to the service is the error message and asks me to try again or ok to cancel.

When I log onto https://printables.hpconnected.com/ and click services-> pads this error message:

An error has occurred. Please try again later.

The service is down? I tried to search for a service status page, but HP does not seem to have one. I was happy to try reception analysis app on my printer, but it has been such a process frustrating the setup...

    Hi Ericson578,

    Thank you for the update.

Internet sharing works fine, but when im trying to play any game on LAN wireless clients peuvent see their car but not wired. when im trying to client ping wireless from a wired machine it does not either.

What is intresting in a DHCP reservation or the ARP table (in router configuration) I can see cable and wireless customers. but still they do not see each other.

    help pls!

    Hi again,

I went to PC World and they exchanged this WAG320N to another. but this time I went to ASUS RT - N16 and so far all is working correctly. I know its missing adsl modem but got usb 2 and a print server.

  • WAP300N: Wireless clients are isolated from my local network?

WAP300N is an AP, but how can we separate wireless clients who come from the WAP300 on my local network? o option NAT or IP isolation?

This access point is not an isolation wireless feature. Even if that were the case it would only isolate wireless devices connected to each other not the LAN.

It's something that your router will have to manage. There are several ways to do this for an example of insulation VLAN or subnet isolation.
