Missing bottom task bar

Task background missing bar when I have a Web page open, I use windows 8... Why? Help!

Yes I fixed... The window size was not a problem, the taskbar settings are all correct and I was already using Chrome will understand!

But a light bulb went off and I checked the Chrome settings and selected "Chrome recovery in desktop mode" and bingo all is well again. Of course, I know now that in windows mode 8, there is no task bar which is rubbish, anyhoo its all fixed now but thanks anyway Mary

  • How to display multiple windows next to each other on top of the other in the bottom task bar

When I open a new Firefox window, he stacked it on top of all others in the taskbar at the bottom. I wish they were next to each other. He used to do this. Now, I have to hover over the element ONLY Firefox in the bottom task bar and read the list to find the one I want to go to. It is a waste of time and tedious.

    How can I change this?

I think that this is governed by your general taskbar setting. Please see the screenshot joint. To get this dialog box, right-click an empty area of the taskbar, and then choose Properties.

By default in Firefox 3.6 seen bar tasks are disabled, you can enable them by changing a hidden preference.

    1. Type of topic: config in the address bar and press on enter
    2. Accept the warning message that appears, you will be taken to a list of preferences
    3. Locate the browser.taskbar.previews.enable'd rather, if it is not the truevalue, double-click on it to change its value.

  • Pavilion g6: black border appeared on the right side of the screen - the task bar disappeared downstairs - 1280 x 800 (recommended)

My laptop recently hooked and I couldn't even do a ctrl/alt/delete to run the programme of work to see what was going on, so I turned off manually. At the start, I have a black border running down the right side of the page and can not see the taskbar at the bottom. I put in 1280 x 720 resolution to allow access to the bottom task bar. I updated the driver for the display, but this did not remedy the problem. How can I go back to 1280 x 800?

FIXED! Last series of Microsoft updates have cured the problem. The resolution is now in 1366 x 768 (recommended)!

  • Task bar obscures the ok button in the print window.

When I try to print, I click on the "print" key, but an another print window appears, with other adaptations can I do, if necessary. However, the OK button that controls the printer to begin printing, is on the bottom of this window and it is hidden by the background task bar. In other words, the window does not appear, and there no minimize or maximize button to reduce the size of the window, I can't see the OK button. I tried to minimize the taskbar and clicking on the top margin of the window to move to the top to reveal the OK button, but it is always hidden. I tried to go to control panel, display, appearance and change the resolution, but nothing helped.

    Hello

    ·         What program you are trying to print from?

    ·         Were you able to print before on the system without any problems?

    ·         Since when are you facing this problem?

    ·         Remember to make changes to the system?

Please provide details so that we can help you in a better way.

As a work around, I suggest you to press Alt + space, which opens a small menu in the upper left corner of the dialog box. Click the moved item or press M, which changes the four-headed arrow cursor. Use the up arrow key to move the dialog box until you can see the OK button and press ENTER to stop the "move" mode. Click the OK button.

How can I add volume control to my quick launch task bar? I tried dragging the icon to the taskbar, which did not work.

    Hello Hassan.

Thank you for using the Microsoft answers Forum

Start by making a right click on the taskbar, and then select Properties. Select the tab, Notification area and choose Volume under the icons in the system. That should put back your icon on the status bar at the bottom right of your screen. If she does not please repost here and let us know.

    I hope this helps!
