  I was forced to recreate a POP mailbox account as he had stopped downloading mails from the server for some reason any (another POP account continued to function perfectly, download of e-mails from the same server).

• BlackBerry smartphone email alert icon not showing on Email folder?

  I chose the option to separate my SMS / email messages.  I understand that copies of ALL my messages go to my folder 'messages' standard, but the red alert icon shows only on my 'messages' folder when I receive a new e-mail message.  It does not appear on my e-mail folder.  On my 8830, I could hide my 'messages' folder and manage all my messages SMS & Email to their respective folders, and whenever I got a new email, the small red alert icon would show up through my e-mail folder.  I talked to others on tour in other forums who say that their to work properly.  Their red alert icon will appear next to their EMAIL folder when you receive a new email.  But mine is displayed by my standard 'MESSAGES' folder, so I have to keep the 2 folders side-by-side on my home page, which is very annoying.  E-mail messages still land in my EMAIL account correctly and I can work on this issue, but I don't know where the message was if I didn't keep the handy 'MESSAGES' folder because the alert icon will appear next to that one instead.  Thanks for any help or direction.

  (a) open Outlook Express, click on the 'Tools' button and then click on the button 'Options '.

  (b) click the "Maintenance" tab and then click on the button 'storage folder '.

• BlackBerry Smartphones Set Up missing Email

  I recently downloaded 5.0 on my Blackberry Storm 9530. I'm not a fan of DM and had not much used on my PC but I just used my Mac to download some pictures. At a DM, I've updated my programs. I see now that my Set Up folder is missing the Set Up E-mail (or it has been implemented Mail) icon. I need to use it at the moment, but I'm worried. I can change my signature line or you might need to put my password by e-mail. I have no idea if these options have been moved elsewhere (I looked for them) or if I should still have the icon Set Up Email and how to get it back. I hesitate to connect to DM and watch because it causes me headaches more than anything else, and I don't really understand this kind of thing. • MS Windows Mail sometimes missing emails

  For months I've been suspecting my hosting provider filter incoming messages too strongly because every now and then I know that some people mail me reached me not.   Yes.  WMUtil fix incompatibilities between the database and the actual data.  But McAfee is the real culprit.  It is not compatible with WinMail and must be completely removed.  You can get www.microsoft.com/security_essentials and www.malwarebytes.org to protect your system and exclude the eml files in mse to prevent these mismatches in the future.

  After that remove your e-mail account, then run WMUtil to compact and repair the database and then add your account to e-mail back again.

  It seems as you do not have the latest version of Vista, so make sure that you have upgraded to SP2 to fix the other faults (Winmail will not be affected much).

  I am a user of blackberry "BOLD" (first time) and was hoping to have my personal e-mail go to a folder and my work to another email. I'm on the Exchange at work system and all my emails to work directly in the Messages folder.
