Missing file error message

I'm new to PE7, I hope you can help.

Just made an instant film of some clips of softball big girls game. Recorded the movie and came back later to edit it, but it gave error message 'where is human file crowd Cheer 04.mp3.'  The theme I used was Star Performance... the mp3 came by the instantaneous displacement. I guess that the file has not become bound. If it was one of my files, I would know where to look. But since it is an instant video file, where I would look for it? I went if the program files, but I see no more.  I'm on the right track, or is there another question?

Unfortunately, you have assigned to the FAQ section. Unless Steve, or another MOD that jumps to the main section of the forum, we probably won't see.

Don't know if PE - 7 is exactly the same, but this is the path to my configuration of PE4. Note: I install all my programs under C:\Adobe Adobe. You will probably have your under C:\Program Files\Adobe\Premiere elements (this may change to PE7, or similar) \Movie Themes\Entertainment\Performance Star. In this, or a similar hierarchy, you should have about 22 files, and human crowd Cheer 04.mp3 should be in this group.

The project files (that you create, if you choose 'New' is only a database of XML, called .prel [project name]. Sometimes, things can become linked in this file. PE is smart enough and will help you to restore these links. I he would leave to help, and it will open the dialog that you met. There, navigate to the location above, or similar, depending on where you installed PE7. Once you go down to the performance Star record, the EP should find this file.

Now, it is possible that the file has been moved. I have seen what happens if someone thought it was a MP3 music and it's stuck in iTunes or similar, without check it out. If this is not where I have indicated, then perform a search in the windows of all C. ------for this file. Wherever that is, I would like to bring him back.

Now, if you are working on an external hard drive, you might have some problems with it, a letter from different drive by the operating system. If you use an external one, let me know and I'll not you if assigning a letter drive permanent, so this does not happen.

Good luck, and I'll try to score Steve out the entire thread to the main area.

    Hello

I solved the problem. It seems that you can not install on a secondary partition with in an earlier version of windows. You must restart the computer and run the installation from a dvd or other media.  Once you get the installation running you should be able to install on another partition without any problems.

I'm done with the installation of c ++ redistribution and everything but does not work for ultimate express

Original title: installation of visual studio 2012 on windows 8

    Hi Mike,.

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

The error you get can be caused by components from Visual C++ Runtime libraries that are missing or get conflicted, perhaps due to a third party software or badly configured registry settings.

So, I would suggest trying the following steps and check if the problem persists:

    Method 1:

I suggest to install the Visual C++ Redistributable package in the system to boot and try to run the applications:

Step 1: Clean boot of the system.

Put your system to the clean boot state helps determine if third-party applications or startup items are causing the problem. You must follow the steps in the article mentioned below to perform a clean boot.

How to perform a clean boot in Windows

Note: refer to "How to reset the computer to start normally after a boot minimum troubleshooting" to reset the computer to start as usual after a repair.

Step 2: Download the Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 and install.

Click on the link below and install it on your computer.

Package redistributable Visual C++ to Visual Studio 2013

If she fails to install and then try to install the Package redistributable Visual C++ 2010 in compatibility mode. Follow the steps in the link given below to install Visual C++ 2010 redistributable Packages in compatibility mode. Please see the following article:

Make the programs more compatible with this version of Windows

If the problem persists, try the following method.

    Method 2:

Try to run a scan of the file system (CFS) auditor to check corruption of system files in the system. SFC scan will search for system files corrupted on the computer and fix them.

    1. Press the Windows key + X, click prompt (Admin).
    2. In the command prompt, type the following command and press ENTER:
      sfc/scannow

Although patch 4337683 I fell on the missing files that required me to apply patches 2214446 and 2284692. After going through the steps on both of these patches I always get a missing file error when he tries to recreate a link to ENCACN.

    I get the following error:
$APPL_TOP/sht/11.5.0/lib/rwave/libstd8s.a: no such file or directory

I searched for what either by reference to that particular file and can't find anything on the web. I also noticed that I have no sending directory and I also searched the whole score and this file does not exist. I have to miss another patch I think.

    Folders.dbx is probably damaged.

Tools | Options | Maintenance | Store folder will reveal the location of your Outlook Express files. Note the location and navigate on it in Explorer Windows or, copy and paste in start | Run.

In Windows XP, Win2K & Win2K3 the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as hidden. To view these files in Windows Explorer, you must enable Show hidden files and folders under start | Control Panel | Folder Options icon | Opinion, or in Windows Explorer. Tools | Folder options | View.

With OE closed, find the Folders.dbx file and delete it.  Another will be created automatically when you open OE.

    Note these possible side effects:

When you re - start OE, it will build a new index of all *.dbx files it can read and create a new Folders.dbx. Please understand that you will lose the mail directory structure, and message rules will probably have to be edited.

  • I can not install hp photsmart c4280 getting a usb.inf missing file error.

I can't install my hp photosmart c4280. I have an error that usb.nf file is missing in windows xp. I am running xp sp3 and MS Security Essentials can be removed as a threat or a virus. My printer wouldn't print and after troubleshooting it as the last resort to remove and try to reinstall the printer and then I started getting this error message. How can I solve this problem without reinstalling windows xp.

    Hello lcarter72,

Have you checked to see if the files still exist in a virus vault or anything?

We will try to launch a System File Checker to see if the file can be repaired or reinstalled.

Sfc/scannow will inspect all the important Windows files on your computer, including the Windows DLL files. If the System File Checker detects a problem with any of these protected files, it will replace it. Asked may to your CD if it is necessary to reinstall a file.

To run the scannow, follow these steps

    1. click on start

    2. click on run

    3. type CMD and press ok

    4. type sfc/scannow

Note: There is a space after sfc

The program will execute and check files damaged or missing, you you may be asked to insert your CD to reinstall the files.

This thread has also some additional information, but I wouldn't recommend no download and installation of system files on the internet and try to install them on your computer.

  • "Extraction failure: cannot open output file" error message when installing new drivers

Hello, I am trying to install new drivers for my HP Photosmart C4385 printer.  I downloaded the complete drivers of features for Windows XP 32-bit, and when I start to install (extract), I get the error message:

    Extraction failed

    Cannot open output file

And the process ends.  He arrived at about 85% extraction every time.

No idea why?  I called HP, but no longer under warranty they wanted money, which I think as absolutely ridiculous - not even give me basic support?  Poor, poor customer service.

    Hi GIJeff12,

    Temporarily disable any AntiVirus/Antispyware software.

Cut the installer on your desktop then click on the Start Menu, click computer, double-click on the C: drive and paste the installler here.  Now try a right click on the installer for your printer, choose 7-Zip and choose Extract the files, and then click Ok.  If the installation program extracts now correctly, follow these steps.  If it does not extract, let me know.

Disconnect your printer from the PC.  Restart your PC.

Open the newly extracted folder and double-click the setup application to start the installation (the installation application will probably have the same icon as the original installation software that you downloaded).  Connect the printer to your computer when you are asked.

If it was a success, re - enable your security software.

    Best wishes

The process creates a temporary file in which all deleted files are archived until completion. The error means generally that you had ran out of disk space or the temp folder is corrupted.

    Hello JBoo91,

Did you check with them to see if they allow that post music file size?
They can put a limit on the size of the file that you can download.
