Model N100 0768 - no sound after flash

I have a problem similar to the one posted here

http://forums.Lenovo.com/T5/Lenovo-3000-and-value-line/N100-0768-boot-problem-after-BIOS-upgrade/m-p...

I recently did a new install of OS clear and updated to update all drivers and BIOS and now I can't get the audio working - it happens that the only SPDIF. It seems that the N100 comes with two sets of BIOS, one for the ADI system and the other for the Realtek one base. By default, the utilitty AdrLoader shot in the ADI as the model 0768 I, I needed the Realtek one. The product information in the BIOS screen is damaged and I have no sound, than anything that the laptop runs. I tried to restore the BIOS and reflash with the version of Realtek without success, using the Realtek file causes the crash AdrLoader with to perform a memory dump and restart Windows.

Has a solution for this be found yet, it looks like a certain owners of this model of laptop seems to have inadvertently taken the wrong file and have machines running in States of no.-ideal/sub-sub-multifunction.

Found the solution, I had to force the correct BIOS via the mode from Crysis. See here:

http://www.ehow.com/how_5218098_recover-Phoenix-BIOS.html

and

http://forums13.itrc.HP.com/service/forums/QuestionAnswer.do?admit=109447627+1292987395830+28353475&...

Once the correct BIOS have been loaded, Windows correctly identified as Realtek instead of the ADI audio. Problem solved, but it is a very nervous experience racking see a screen vacuum while BIOS flash. Although the N100 beep during the process.

  • Satellite A500-1DN (PSAR3E) - Dead BIOS after flashing

    Hi all.
First of all, sorry for my English.

My problem is simple, I have a bios dead after flashing Toshiba service station (or something like that).

How it happened? : 4 days ago, it asked me to update. It was for me quite normal because she asked for updates on a daily basis. I enablished day and after a few cliks on button then I noticed it has been updated to BIOS and is almost in half. I wanted to wait to the end (because I know if I stop uptade of bios, I end up with dead bios (bios corrupted)) but collapsed almost at the end and he showed me a few errors. After that my laptop did a restart and I couldn't stop it. He died.

Now, if I push the power button / stop I get a screen black (as it is off) som LED turns on and the Cpu fan to perhaps 10%.

What I did the last 3 days? : I searched all the residents on what to do with it. I tried maybe 10 types out crisdisks with usb and CD (with floppy isn't becose Bios for my laptop is too big for 1 floopy).
I tried to start with FN + B this has worked for me CD player began to search for CDs, USB key showed activity, but dead end happened nothing. I tried to make the Boot usb with the latest minidos.sys and phlash16.exe. I tried to combinate but still nothing.
I tried everything I found on internet forums around. Nothing helps.
Another thing is that only bios I found was 1.90. If anyone has an older bios for my laptop pls give me a link. I'm losing hope becose I can not find anithing on google.
I am an advenced user I almost did this medication with the pc, but I've never worked with dead bios.

Pls someone help me and give me a correct crisdisk for my model. Or another sugestion.

    Hello

Sorry, mate, but you should contact the http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/generic/ASP_SUPPORT/ ASP.

Unfortunately, the warranty does not cover failure of the bios and you will have to pay about US $ 50-60 (anyway, it costs like that in my service center)

  • Compaq CQ58: No sound after upgrade Windows 10

No sound after updating Windows 10.

Installed HP Support Assistant, which came with a video to try a headphone jack with Windows 7, so no joy there.

Tried several times scanning but "HP has encountered an error when trying to analyze your product."

Although this suggests that the failure of the scan, produce a result: Driver (1)

Under 'pilot', it says "Windows 10 drivers may be available via Windows Update".

But I already tried Windows Technical Support, who drew a blank and referred me to HP!

    Hello:

I recommend that you try the audio driver IDT W8.1 support page for your laptop.

    This works in most cases.

This package contains the driver that allows Audio IDT high definition (HD) in the notebook models that are running a supported operating system.

    File name: sp58406.exe

If the W8.1 driver does not have the noise at work, try this...

Go to Device Manager and click to expand the category of audio, video and game controllers device.

    1. click on the Audio CODEC of IDT high definition in Device Manager.

    2. click on the driver tab.

    3. click on Update Driver...

4-> select Browse my computer for driver software.

    5. Select-> Let pick me from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.

    6. Select Audio device high definition (not IDT high def...)  "This is important). and click Next.

Warning message is displayed, but the answer Yes.

7 Windows has updated your driver software.

    8 restart the PC

    Key is step 6

  • Satellite A30 - impossible to get a sound after installing XP

Am not able to get sound after installing XP. Drivers from the Toshiba web site do not help. Does anyone have an idea on this issue. Thank you

    Hello

It's old model of laptop, and all pilots must work. I'm sure you make a mistake. On this old notebook, you must install Windows XP Home SP1 edition and after doing this install all patches software, driver chipset, driver and driver sound to the less rated. The sound should work fine.

If you have laptop model please download the drivers from the EMEA support page http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com

  • Satellite L350D - 12 M PSLE0E - no sound after installing Win XP

    Hello

I installed Win XP SP3 on my Tosh laptop.
I have everything works except the sound.

We know of a compatible for this model sound card driver in XP.
I downloaded the bucket full of HD and AC97 Realtek drivers, but none seems not to work.

I'm really struggling with this one and do not want to go back to Vista.

Reall any help is appreciated. Robbie.

    Hello

I had the same problem with sound after installing XP everything seemed fine but no sound!

    I found a solution;
You need to install the MS patches; KB835221 and KB888111
These hotfixes must be installed before installing driver sound!

But I put t know how it works with SP3. I think that you need to remove the SP3 first and then you could install the patches mentioned.

However, once the patches have been installed, you must follow with the Realtek HD audio driver installation. The latest driver should be placed also on the Realtek page too.

Well, in my case it worked so it should work on your laptop too!

    Original title: no sound

It is likely that you will need to go to Dell.com and download and reinstall the software, patches, and drivers designed for your computer model and the OS.

  • Problems with sound after installing Vista Ultimate SP1 on HP Pavilion Dv4

I lost sound after installing Vista SP1 Ultimate on my HP Pavilion Dv4... everything was fine before. Help, please.

Go to the HP support website and search for Windows Vista drivers for your specific model number. Also look for recent updates, even if your PC comes with Windows Vista preinstalled.
    http://welcome.HP.com/country/us/en/support.html

If there are Vista drivers then download to a folder on your hard drive and install all of them, starting with the installation card mother/chipset drivers, then the SATA, LAN, Audio, drivers and other device drivers.

  • N100 0768 Windows 7 installation, driver problems

Today I installed Windows 7 Home Premium on 300 N100 0768. I used an original cd of Microsoft, i.e. No OEM drive and did a clean install. And while it has installed without problem, I have a few problems:

    1. When you look in "device management" (I don't know if this correct name as I am a Dane, by I think it is), when you can see that two "basic system units' lack of pilots. I need to find the drivers through Windows Update (no result), on the Lenovo download page (gave a result ('lenovo system driver), hovever there do not installed the drivers that I needed). Someone at - it an idea on what could be the problem?

    2. According to my "device management", there are installed the drivers for the sound card, but I can't hear anything on the speakers, how much I try any importance. If this may have something to do with the problem mentioned above?

Driver card reader Multi Ricoh HERE should get rid of Base system device.

Try the Vista drivers to restore the sounds found HERE , I think that first try Realtek.

SoundMAX if it does not install.

Don't forget to read the instructions on the download, "unpacking"

and run the Setup program for the drivers, if you do not

    know the procedure.

I change the operating system to Win7 Pro. I need a good graphics card that can support Aero, etc.. Any suggestions? Anyone tried this? Also, what is the performance of the battery after the upgrade, if any?

You cannot change the graphics card, it is integrated to the motherboard!

Your will support aero very well, however.

I have not noticed any significant change in the performance of the battery on mine.

I presume that the BIOS is doomed. What you need is a professional help with this then contact the nearest service provider and ask for help.

By the way: check this forum using the advanced search option. In the past, I have seen several interesting discussions on BIOS recovery. I m quite skeptical on this subject but maybe you will be lucky and find the solution.

  • Satellite Pro U200 - no sound after installing Windows 7

    Hello

I have a problem with sound after installing Windows 7 on a (PLUA1E) satellite Pro U200. No Win7 audio driver available on the Nordic pilot site. Help, please.

    Hey Buddy,

Have you already checked the site Web of Toshiba itself?

I found a driver for Vista 32 bit and Vista drivers most also work on Windows 7 so it s worth a try! :)
