  Hello!

  By default, the 3D picture control is broken/non functional on Dell laptops that my company to buy things.  All these notebooks have Intel HD Graphics chipsets. Disabling the device driver Intel (in Device Manager) corrects the image 3D control.  These laptops now needs to use a device that only requires an Open GL or Direct X - available if the Intel HD Graphics driver is enabled.

  My understanding is that the 3D picture control is based on "Open scene Graphics.

  All 3D rendering controls are based on the same version of OSG?

  What happens under LabVIEW 2011.

  If anyone knows if this has been fixed, great!

  I'll probably try install LV2014 and compile an EXE test just to verify this.

  I have a Latitude E6520 with Intel HD Graphics (active) and I am able to run the sample shipping model of Solar System.VI 3D without any problem.  I can manipulate the camera, etc.

• LabVIEW picture control - many updates - memory problem

  I have little experience with LabVIEW and am currently using a picture control in one of my applications.

  The idea is that some areas (rectangles) inside the image control that is updated all the time with different colors. (according to a parameters measured)

  I have a large loop that takes a shift register that contains the image control.

  I noticed that the operations of different 'draw the Rectangle' I am the scene are piling up so the memory continues to increase...

  I did a small sample program that demonstrates this behavior.

  I want to update the image all the time in simple control. How can I ensure that memory does not get stored? Are there functions with which I can replace a portion of the image control with a new pixel values rather than simply add these new values each time for the image control?

  Hi k_tunsten,

  Just remove the register shift. The result is the same, but the performance is much better and will not increase the memory.

  OK this isn't really the same thing, but the indicator buffer puts the old image, so that it looks the same.

  You are right, I found examples of Robotics that use 3D photo control and display Simulator control to display a scene 3D on the front panel. After further research, it seems that control the display of Simulator adds additional features compared to the 3D picture control. The control displays Simulator allows the user to right-click control during execution and change the background color, draw fashion, draw contact, view the ID of robot, display sensor data, suspension of service Simulator and reset service Simulator.

• Question tab User Interface control

  Heey everybody,

  I have disigned a program and user interface, on this user interface, there is a tab (see attachment) control in this tab control, you can select several measures. It is a school project and according to my professor is not clear enough what measure is selected.

  My question: is there a way to give the active tab a different color? If you know a way to create a nice user interface that has the same capabilities as the control tab (select measure and wire in measured values).

  It is possible to give different tabs of different colors, first of all, you must enable several colors - "just right-click on a tab on the control. "Select Advanced" allow multiple colors.

• Question regarding oracle 12 control cloud and gridcontrol 10g c

  We have fully integrated control of 10g of grid years ago and it is entirely used, all databases are on the list of targets and added.

  now, somehow there is a half year management hired a firm to control cloud 12 c being implemented on another primary/secondary environment.

  Before pushing the agent more and discover the target, I have several questions, I wonder, guru here hopefully can help me.

  (1) what I have to disable the 10 g grid control and remove these agents on the hosts of each database?

  (2) this time the primary cloud 12 c control is broken, but ensures connection is running. Website can be opened on the backup site. How can I open the primary up? where / what newspapers I can check? Anyone got the docs for it?

  (3) the good docs/comments are much appreciated.

• strange question use stop() to control a scenario after loadClip

  Hello, I have this strange question:

  I want to control the scenario of a swf file loaded with loadClip command.

  I wrote this code

  strange thing is that stop() works when you test the movie by the flash application and plays from the projector. It DOES NOT WORK when he runs by embed code html in swf or swf directly.

  I checked a lot of time and the name of the 'container' is resolved, but the command does not work for his screenplay.

  you wouldn't expect this stop() never work.  Once the loading starts, stop() no longer applies to the target of a loadClip (or loadMovie) method.

  to resolve, use the stop() on the first frame of the loaded swf file editing.

• Open a disk image and trimming for a picture control

  Hi people,

  I try to let my users (in a browser) to select/open a disk file (image type) so that they can see and then save it to the server.  I can use the FileReference object very well and load its 'result' directly in a MX:Image control.  However, before I do that I want to crop the selected image square.  I also want to resize the image down, but that will come later, once I get the job of cropping.

  I'm essentially taking the FileReference result bytearray and conversion to a BitmapData object.  Then I 'extract' a place of this BitmapData object data in a new BitmapData object.  Then I need to get * that * BitmapData object in the mx:image control.  I tried to use a Bitmap of the to do, but the mx:image that results, while the 'companies' displays correctly, as a white Virgin region.  Throughout, the variables seem to be "complete" data and seem to have developed properly.  I looked at a few sites that show images cropping and copies, but they always start with images 'preload '.  I modeled my code after them, if necessary.

  To be honest I don't think you can buy it separately. As much I know this remote control is not available as a separate option.

  I created a front panel ActiveX control that allows me to open a document and jump between the adjancent pages among other things, but I was wondering if the following is possible:

  (1) to access a given page

  (2) to close the document and return the VI of the State, it was before I opened the PDF file, i.e. If nothing is posted that is the white background. I tried to load anything ("'"), but this does not seem to do anything.

  (3) to prevent the scroll of the user (I've removed the scroll bars, but it is possible to scroll with the mouse)

  (4) to prevent the user to right click to bring up the menu of adobe.

  I presume that it is not possible to do the above that it is not all methods that seem to allow this?

  I guess 3 + 4 could be solved by placing a transparent object on top?
