• Bidi text JTextPane and JTextArea changes the row height

  You can use the following example to demonstrate the problem. When you run, copy and paste an Arab character of http://www.alanwood.net/unicode/arabic.html in the display area. This creates a condition of bidi in the document. The circumflex replaces one with a flag at the top to indicate ownership LTR or RTL of the character. The height of the display line, going at a lower height. I am able to detect the State of bidi. I can't get any action to indicate what was the change of line height. I've exhausted all measuring height of possible line that I could find. The size reported by all methods does not State non-bidi bidi State, even if the row height is significantly reduced. Anyone else encounter this? Any proven way to measure the difference?

  I think that Eclipse does not use JEditorPane but own component. GUI editors has monospaced fonts of equal width/height for each tank and fixed a height for all rows. It is much easier to manage several sizes of fonts on the same line.

  There are of course. You must get an instance of the Tablerow in question, so it depends on where you try to get one in your code... You try to get one that currently has the focus? the selected? Or another in particular?

  Inside my own custom tablecell - I get (and link) the height of tablerow associated (another component) in the updateItem method. Use

  TableRow tr = this.getTableRow()
  tr.getHeight();
  

  to get it back...

  Note: You can always "walk" the scene graph seeking to retrieve an instance of the TableRow. Or take all the TableRow in existence, to say, adjust the height of the TableRow.

  Not sure if that helps... Otherwise, you can post your code and mark that it contains a comment in the box your trying to get an instance of the Tablerow.

  It's the abbreviation CSS.  Rather than express margins and padding with 8 lines of code like this:

• problem of adjustment of height of the rows in the tables in CS6

  I read all the debates devoted to setting the height of the rows in the tables and I can't find the answer to my problem.

  I placed a table that was created in Word.  I've done several times, but now I can not adjust the heights of less than 5mm line without losing the text in the line.  I went up to line on "exactly".  As soon as I try to reduce the height of the text disappears, but there is plenty of space above and below the text.   Hoping someone can help.

  I use the same table (40 lines, 20 columns) in a quarterly publication for at least 5 years. While I need not change it very often, I never had a problem in the past. I just upgraded to CS6, and now I can't change most of the height of the rows to be more than 0.2 ".  There are three lines which are greater than. 2 "and I still can resize them. But the 37 other lines can only be reduced in height, has not increased. I tried the height adjustment to the words 'at least' instead of 'Exactly', without effect. I checked all my settings options of the Table and can't find anything to change.  I use dozens of tables in this publication and has no problem resizing of rows or columns in the rest of them. Any idea what's going on here? All I did to lock this particular table, of course, I won't have to accidentally do to all the others. Thanks in advance!

  Click on the "Table" then "cell Options" menu choose "the rows and columns" and in the white box next to the word ' Maximum: "type a value greater or increase the value of arrows up and down. It's you if you want to type a maximum value that you do not want to exceed or type a very high value such as 20 "so that you can resize freely.

  Search help to the title of 'Calculation of the amounts of the fields', there are examples of Javascript of the calculation of the amounts to the breast of repeating subforms which is what are the rows of the table.

  If you use Formcalc is easy enough to do with wildcards. In the search help for "execute calculations from a table" and there is a picture that shows how to use wildcards for the calculation in the tables. Basically, it's in the sense of "sum" (Table.Row [*]. Field [*])

  So in your case might run the following:

  sum (topmostSubform.Page.Content.Repeater.Table1.Row1[*].F11a[*])

  When I run this list it is created with each object being rendered properly, but keep an eye on the height of comments when you scroll from top down (it may take a few scrolls to see), when a comment moves out of the visible range and then comes back in the field of the visible, the height of comments seems back to zero itself , you will see the name disappear (and sometimes reappear again). Can one, someone explain what is happening? Two, this is the best approach, I have also considered using a vbox and Repeater, but so far the current implementation is the closest, just to create the desired result. Thanks in advance.
