ModusLink may not send the Vista upgrade

Hi all

Since February 23, I'm in and sent all the details (and approved) necessary for MODUSLINK to get my upgrade to VISTA BUSINESS. Yesterday, 18 June I received the following e-mail:

Thank you for your order with the support of upgrade redemption Centre.

This email was sent to you because we have been unable to charge your order to upgrade costs by using credit card details. At the time of the seizure of the orders, we received a pre-authorisation of your credit/bank card company; However, when we tried recently delete this authorization, the payment was not authorized. Unfortunately, because we have not received the funds for your upgrade we were left with no option but to cancel the order.

As the takes controls of the upgrade program was closed, we regret to inform you that there is not the possibility to place another order within the program of technical upgrading. For further information, please contact the manufacturer of your PC.

Hello

Follow the advice of common snipe s. You should contact your Bank and have to clean up this issue with the company moduslink.
The moduslink is responsible for the Vista update of the delivery.

  • Qosmio F30-127 is unable to read the Vista upgrade disc

    Hi guys,.

    I have a Toshiba Qosmio F30 (127) with the standard front load Mat * a DVD-RAM (model UJ-846) Player.

    I have for months without any apparent problem burn a variety of CD DVD & (R/RW) and recently received my expected Vista Express Upgrade DVD which I assume adopts the format DVD RAM.

    After the upgrade of the BIOS to v3.4, I successfully installed upgrading startup, but only one of the hard drives (RAID) which has been recognized in my windows session (with the recoil, I would simply have used administrative tools > computer management > disk management) ;-(

    I reinstalled XP using the recovery disks provided original in preparation to retry the Vista upgrade a 2nd time to correct the alleged no recorded 2nd hard drive.

    However, on the startup of XP, the Vista Upgrade DVD doesn't have to be recognized at startup (i) or (ii) in the case of a Windows session, without a visible change in the drive icon to indicate the usual recognition.

    If I try to double click on the drive icon, I get the error message:

    "D:\ is not accessible. The request could not be performed because of an i/o device error.

    I have read a number of threads of support which advises: (i) changing some registry keys, which seem to be unnecessary following a procedure of recovering costs of system; (ii) the transfer mode to DMA to PIO on the primary IDE channel in Manager devices, and (iii) the offending disk and IDE/ATAPI controllers Device Manager uninstall followed by a restart of switching. I tried (ii) & (iii) independently several times resulting in Windows Installer automatically the drivers for the hardware newly found followed by a final reboot, but the Enigma DVD persists.

    I tried to install the latest drivers for the DVD RAM driver, including vF103 firmware update in the Toshiba download pages, but the status quo remains.

    Ideas or current symptoms are swinging more and more towards the likely hardware malfunction?

    For me, it looks like a hardware problem, maybe the lens of the player is not clean or not can not calibrate correctly in the right position

    But try first to remove the drive from Device Manager and restart the laptop.
    The operating system should recognize what it again automatically. If you want to read from this CD, and then try again.

    I want to know why I have to spend more money on an upgrade to Windows 7, when I spent I believe 200.00 with microsoft in end 08.My on an upgrade vista ultimate on an older laptop.i have two other computers at home that I bought two full win 7 ultimate copies when this operating system was first released in oct 09 microsoft site does not allow me to install the vista upgrade because it has been disabled.i the feeling that in the future if I create another computer or buy a laptop, I'll buy the version complete, because the updates for win 7 can have the same result then win 8 fate within a year or so.and probably in an all too short time

    you have a post very confused as to what you ae trying to do

    you don't have to get windows 7; It's up to you whether you buy it or not

    and the upgrade of operating systems is different from the upgrade of the editions in a particular operation systyem

    and if you upgrading vista from one edition to another and the installed operating system vista had SP2 and upgrade does not, you uninstall SP2 upgrade then reinstall SP2

    * NOTE: Make sure that your firewall of your computer or security software firewall does not block Adobe, if you are not sure of it can just disable the firewall for a while and then log off and log on creative application of cloud and check.

    If it still gives you an error of the trial, then please refer to the troubleshooting listed below:

    If you are using MAC:

    1-force Quit the sub process in the same sequence as shown below from Activity Monitor: see, use the monitor activity on your Mac - Apple Support

    • Creative cloud
    • Basic timing & sync to basic support
    • CC library & process CCX

    • Broker CIB Adobe

    3. browse to the Application Support > Adobe > trash OOBE folder and folder AAM Updater

    5 - go to: Apple icon > system preferences > Security & Privacy > General > "allow applications downloaded on" change this anywhere (to make these changes click the padlock in the corner at the bottom left of this window and enter your computer password)

    These changes are temporary you can restore these changes back to normal once your creative cloud app is running *.

    6 - restart the cloud creative app and connect


    If you use the WINDOW:

    1 complete the process / Task Manager tasks in the same order, as mentioned below the Manager tasks. See, Open the Task Manager

    These changes are temporary you can restore these changes back to normal once your creative cloud app is running *.

    4 - raise the cloud creative app and connect

    Thank you for sending the files. I have checked the issue and registered internal bugs for the same thing.

    Meanwhile, I found a work around for this problem. You can create a combined as follows:

    -Open one of the files.

    -Open thumbnail pane of the file via the tool on the left pane.

    -Go to options and insert the second files (or more) in the file opened by using the menu "insert page".

    -Save the file.

    Also, see the screenshot.

    This file does not show the error on the page.

    I know, there are several other threads on this topic, but I couldn't find a working solution. I currently have no OS on my DELL XPS 17 L702X. When I try to install from a USB stick bootable Windows 7 Home Premium x 64 I get this error message: windows cannot be installed on this physical drive of this computer may not support the start-up this drive make sure that the drive controller is enabled in the computer's bios menu.
    I've tried wiping HARD drive and reformat with GParted. I don't really know what I could do.

    I suggest that you contact the manufacturer of the computer to change the BIOS settings and check if it is has updated the BIOS.

    Important: BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

    Ok.  So you're screenshot compared to SCORM clouds now shows you're scoring 100% in the quiz, but your state of completion will still come out incomplete.  Then of course, your quiz notification settings not award success based on passing the test.

    Try to set your quiz the way I show this screenshot using SCORM 1.2 instead of 2004.
