  I bought a new PC and wanted to update a financial program - from microsoft money is no longer supported I had buy Quicken. I followed all the steps to transfer money even downloaded files more 2008 so that they would convert.  It did not work. Communicated with Quicken support and after 4 hours of effort they pay back me for the product. But after uninstall Quicken and Money over and reinstall money 2006, my password is not accepted., so I am unable to use the money. So I tried to reinstall money more 2008 trial version and it does work but when try and buy the version offered is the sunset and that does not work in my case.   Microsoft has stopped selling money on June 30, 2009. The last activation of version (more Money, or money 2008) required in order to be fully functional.

  I was able to get through the obstacles on the registration. Money has been working in local mode on my older XP machine because MS no longer supports it... When I tried to register on the new machine Win 7 is where to find the problems...

  Finally, I was able to sign and then run in local mode... I don't remember the steps (trial and error), but it now seems to work on Win 7.  Thanks for the answer and references!

  I use Money 2006.  I bought Quicken only to find out that it can only convert Money 2007 or later versions.  So I purchased Money 2007 and upgraded successfully.  Then, I tried to convert my file in Money 2006 to 2007.  I opened the file 2006 and she asked my password as usual.  After that I put in, need me a screen that says "for updating your money file.  It is said that money will convert my file so it can work with it in 2007.  And you're supposed to click on "next".  When I do it says it 'work', but it gets stuck there and nothing happens.  Any ideas?

  Ive received a warning that I have to remove the old 'Live ID' in my money file or I can lose data.  I never added "Live ID" when it came out a few months back.  I do not have online banking, and not sure if that's what it's referring to.  Don't know what to do and that's all. Any help?

  Whence this "warning"?

  I think that it is a generic warning about the fact that Microsoft has abandoned online services for money from last January.  If you do not have (not) to use the features of online banking, it can probably be ignored.

• Apple ID lockout - HELP Please

  Hoping someone can help me find my iPad old dads for him.

  I managed to fix it for him after he threw it on the floor using google/here, but I could not sign in its identifier Apple at the time that he does not accept the email address, that he insisted was right.

  I don't live nearby, so I brought home with me a while to try and fix it again, but I found just today an e-mail address of talk talk very old for him & Eureka!, he agreed with the password we both knew to be correct.

  Then only he told me that the account has been suspended - takes me to a page with security questions - which he can't remember the answers to (it is 80 & sick right now) he also tells me that he thinks her cat destroyed a laptop that I wrote all the passwords and emulsion for his different accounts - original so I'm he detached a little

  I guessed one of the answers correctly, but of course I don't remember that one - now goes a little later with the other and he won't let me new & insists on sending emails only-, but that the talktalk email address no longer exists

  I remember at the time to help him set up the AppleID, I gave my own email as a backup for his AppleID account e-mail address, so I could help I hope that if something like this happened - but I don't see anyway to get Apple to send to this e-mail address, rather than the deceased talktalk one

  I'm pulling out my hair here - is it possible? and if so, how would you please

  You can't change where the reset email goes - (you can but only when you have full access to the account, including the ability to respond to security issues). If you cannot reset email, you will need to contact Apple support: Contact Apple for assistance with the security of the Apple ID - Apple Support accounts

  I've been using Money 2006 microsoft since it was new - I for some reason forgotten the password to log my money after all these years.  I went through the section "you forgot your password" to reset but the password no longer works.  I thought I did it wrong, but it have now changed over 8 times & still I can't log - I need to update my operations banking etc. but can not connect.  It's very frustrating.  I even tried to set up a new account, but he wants the same email I used since 2006 to open a session.

  Please help me understand this.  I really need to update my bank details soon.
