money from Microsoft 2004 Deluxe
1, computer crashed using XP pro and had no files saved for some time and the purchase of new computers running windows 8. The data from the old hard drive had copied from an external HD. What files can I import to the new computer to have the work data installed? Second question will be money 2004 deluxe running on a computer with windows 8?
Hello
You must have the programs created in the data on XP installed on Windows 8 to be able to read the data files that have been saved from XP.
All that we need to move money are the results of the Windows 8 Compatibility Center:

I downloaded microsoft money more deluxe of the http://www.microsoft.com/money/freetrial_info.mspx try it. Now its telling me my money rial version has expired. Cannot enter new operations or use online services until you purchase the full retail version of Money. Choose the purchase price or to postpone. Well, this isn't the first time I tried to buy this product. When money click buy it goes to the http://www.microsoft.com/money/default.mspx who told me that Microsoft Money Plus is no longer available for purchase or expansion of services online.
So is there a solution to my problem?
Hello
If Microsoft isn't selling more money, then you won't be able to buy through them. I recommend trying another retailer to see if we could buy a copy. Some internet sites like amazon or others can have a copy for sale money.

I usually backup Microsoft money to drive flash usb without problem. I just bought a new larger Lexar usb flash drive that works perfectly with all the other functions/programs outside Microsoft money. It backs up the data so then he said to put in the next floppy disk. I tried to format the flash drive in various formats, but it still will not be considered like a flash drive. The flash player works fine in all other aspects, but it seems to be a problem with Microsoft money recognizing the drive. All responses appreciated

Has anyone had any strange phone calls claiming to be from Microsoft? Phone number when you dial 1471 is: 007277489117
Hello
Calls unrequested telephone of this nature are almost always a common scam. Do not let them give any info, do not give access to your PC, not give them all the money and do not go to all the websites that they suggest. One moment.
Please see:

Microsoft issues never not solicited for phone calls of support or security.
These types of callers can use completely fictitious names or bogusly claim to be of real companies other than Microsoft as well.

Received a phone call claiming to be from Microsoft
Original title: phone scam?
I received a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft. He said that one of my computers was not related to obtaining updates and I had to fix it. He said that does not connect would cause my computer down.
I did not trust the person at all, it provided no evidence that he was from Microsoft when asked and he kept trying to get me out on my computer for him.Actually one of my computers has been freezing / crashing a lot but I just assumed it was because it is now old enough for a laptop. Is everything "that connects only not updates, causing accidents" actually a thing? Or I was right not to trust this person?

received a call from foreign voice asking me to let him access my computer, said that it was for my call from Microsoft. Wanted to help me with my problem.
First I called Microsoft and don't think that they work this way. Also, this same thing happens to my friend here in Idaho a couple of weeks. Is this a scam going around and if it is why didn't Microsoft addressed the issue in a public way?

Call from Microsoft Security, is it a scam?
I got a call from "Microsoft Security", informing that my computer has been hacked and tried to get me a "pin" entry that they would provide. When I wondered where they were on they notify that they were "security for Microsoft" I didn't responded and asked a phone number back to them. The number is 253-220-7222, but I was not called again.
I suspect that it was a scam. Do you have any advice?

I received several calls from a person alleging to be from microsoft saying: they received the information from my computer on which it runs slowly and to turn on my computer so that they can do the steps to put it right, I did not what I was skeptical, but he was insistent that I turn on my computer (Incidentally it was already running) I refused this and he said I should do what he says. I put the phone down, but it rang again and insistent, he rang the Bell and then twice that I ignored it. However, he then rang again later andmy husband responded, he said himwe do not need its services because it was thought not good, as I already told you this gentleman I was under the impression that it was not kosher, insisted that it was. So what is happening here. I'm not what anyone on the screen. Also when he got my phone rings me and someone from microsoft would be ringing me, as I have him suggest that I wouldn't do anything on my computer but it would write with information on.thank you for your help
