Monitor taken?

My Dell monitors (second user) all have the USB hub is under construction and I noticed there is an another taken 6vDC to input on the rear panel is also - that, to allow the user to provide a power source, such as a hub USB will continue to power devices when the monitor it is car is turned off? If my hypothesis is correct, anyone know a part number for the unit so I can investigate a purchase please?

The plug is designed to power the monitor soundbar (speakers). It does not need to be able to 'in' the monitor. There is no way around the fact that if you turn off the monitor, the USB ports also turn off.

  • monitor screen size, it's on the largest resolution cannot be taken

I bought a used laptop with Windows XP Professional. No matter what I do, including the amendment of the resolution of the screen, I can't see the screen to fill the entire screen.  I can't find any information on the web, other than corrections of screen resolution.  The computer is a dell 620 latitude.  Under the monitor, he said only: default monitor. More high resolution, I can go is 1024 x 768 bits of very high (32).  Help, please.

    Hi Bobbievin,

Thanks for posting your question in the Microsoft answers Forum.

Follow the steps below to resolve your issue with the screen resolution:

    1. Restart your computer and immediately press the F8 key until you reach the menu Advanced Boot Options.
    2. From the options menu, select Safe Mode.
    3. Right-click on an empty space on the desktop.
    4. Select properties then settings.
    5. Select Advanced > adapter
    6. Click default map in the refresh rate list.
    7. Click OK and restart the computer in Normal mode.

Let us know if that helps.

  • Feature Request - better taken in charge of multiple monitors

Using Lightroom for a second screen has certainly helped my workflow. I hope that the team will consider multiple adding more flexible monitor support in version 4. Here's why.

I recently experimented running one of my three displays in portrait mode. When this screen welcomes the secondary display of Lightroom in the Loupe window, my vertical finally get equal real estate for editing. While I don't have hard statistics on my library, I know that more than 50% of my images is in portrait orientation.

I would like to see LR V4 supports three or more screens, so I could be implemented as follows:

Display 1 - main lightroom interface, would not need to be calibrated, controls and navigation

Screen 2 - Portrait orientation, view Magnifier - this would be a calibrated screen, all develop changes to vertical markets would be judged on this screen

Screen 3 - landscape, view Magnifier - another calibrated screen orientation, all develop changes to the horizontal would be judged on this screen

If Adobe could improve the application smart enough to send the image to the correct screen, based on orientation (recognition and respect which could change the direction of culture) my editing sessions would certainly speed up and I could maximize the productivity of multiple screens.

I'd be happy with that, but I am also frustrated by the need to return to the mode tag image library when my workflow main a me to develop.  Ultimately depends on the quality of the image. Before investing in specific image meta-data, I have an image in the process or at least 'test-process'. IMO the Quick Develop panel serves to nothing, as soon as you are used to the granular control of cursors, it just don't cut it.

In the three configuration monitor I described above I would like to be able to configure the screen 1, with a combination of library panels and to the point, so I could stay "develop centered on" immediate access to Keywords and meta. Two additional screens would intelligently deal with the display of images.

I think this could speed up my workflow of 33% and who has just returned from a Tour of France project that generated 23 000 images I need the help of productivity, that I can get.

    + 1,000,000 votes.

1 for me; 999 999 for people who have it also but just not yet.

Optimization for a workflow based on multiple monitors would be great - interface with lib + dev panels on a monitor, an edict of fullscreen on another one (or two) would be great.

I think if I had three monitors can I want even a set of panels aligned right on the left screen, a set of aligned left on the right screen and the picture being developed in the monitor of the centre - which I could turn to taste according to proportions cropped, if I was in the mood.

  • Need help to find an adapter for a third-party monitor

Hi all! I find myself in need of a little guidance, and I hope that someone out there will have a quick n easy for me...

I have a Mid-2011 27 'iMac. which has two ports Thunderbolt It is taken with a Wacom tablet that I use constantly, and the other is made by an external hard drive to a solid state, which has a built-in cable to Thunderbolt (no way to hang it on a different port). I also have a 27 "HP monitor that is currently connected via an HDMI USB adapter.

The problem is that the HP monitor is actual "jiggy" - the USB does not seem fast enough to deal with requests for the monitor. It is almost unusable. I know I should run it via a HDMI adapter Thunderbolt, but as I have already mentioned the two my Thunderbolt ports are already in use.

Someone at - it ideas? I need sort of three to two ports Thunderbolt hooks, but I can't seem to find anything for less than $300 that would work. (I am illiterate when it comes to the different cables, adapters, ports, etc., so I hope someone can point me in the right direction by using short words... Most of the products that I travel through list specifications that me Chicane).

The monitor has two HDMIs and a VGA port, and my iMac has a Firewire 800 port, if that helps at all...

2011 iMac have only 1 Thunderbolt port and there is no such thing as a Mid-2011, you must have an iMac of year later, if it has 2 ports Thunderbolt. All the 27 "iMacs, from 2012 to 2015 the current have 2 ports Thunderbolt.

The EtreCheck report shows that you have only 33MB of free RAM in time, which can only cause slowdowns. Google Chrome only takes 1.3 GB of it. Chrome is a Devourer of enormous resources, so if possible, try to quit smoking by using another browser.

  • Third monitor does not work with Eyefinity more

I am trying to run 3 monitors on my ATI HD 5770

I have two computers that, for years, have worked with several thin monitors... until very recently.  Through all my updates to the OS, they continued to work.  I don't remember exactly at what time each card has ceased to power its third monitor.  Each of my "third monitors" would come on periodically until they all finally stopped.

All monitors are working fine as I juggle the cables and adapters each refreshes and lights up but not all at the same time.

Here's what I have available for troubleshooting.

I have two Mac Pros below.  (OS 10.11.6) on one and (OS 10.7.5) on the other.

Each tower has (2) 5770 cards installed that each have a DVI and 2 mini ports.

So I have a total of (4) cards and is starting the new one that I got on ebay last week.

    I have LG E2350V 23 "monitors (6) and (3) 22" ACER monitors

All my cables are active and I have several active adapters

I just bought some passive extra and many very active adapters to the experience and trouble shooting with.

Thanks in advance for the help and time!

DisplayPort and its variant electrically identical but small size Mini DisplayPort and the implementation which is a subset of Thunderbolt, any differential use (push-pull) of signals pilot very low voltage. They are MORE immune to noise than old methods because the signal is encoded on the difference between the two signals, not a single signal referenced to a "everybody" on the ground. If possible, you must connect all screens with DisplayPort [full-size] or Mini DisplayPort. These put a lot less load on your system.

When you convert this very low level signal to an "inherited" display, the map is short of ability to directly signal levels in the car high enough to be recognized after connection of TWO monitors legacy of any kind. If you choose to use a DVI or HDMI port supplied directly, that still counts as one of your two "free" conversions (It is also possible that a very fussy display is moved even earlier).

All display "legacy" beyond the first two requires ACTIVE description adapters. Adapters ASSETS contain re-drivers of signal and are therefore more expensive than ordinary adapters. Typical prices are of the order of $ 40, but competition has lowered some prices slightly. Mini DisplayPort has a descendant-comparability mode requested by the regular cards, who can get to produce a Single-Link DVI signal to up to 1920 wide, but a regular adapter not pushed the signal levels.

The Apple Mini DisplayPort to DVI Dual-Link, which is used for DVI displays wider width of 1920, is more complex and expensive and requires extra power beyond all signal re-pilots. This power is usually taken on a tail of pig USB, USB data are generally not used by the adapter, so a different USB power source can be overridden.

  • MacBook 12 "and external monitors - experiences

That I have not found much info on using a MacBook 12 "with external monitors (but have found problems), I thought I would post my experiences here for the benefit of other researchers:

    MacBook 12 "with Dell u3415w (3440 x 1440) via a USB - C adapter Digital AV Multiport (HDMI):

VIDEO: Experienced random black screens on the external monitor. After update to El Capitan 10.11.4 version which included an update of the firmware of the adapter, the problem become constant, with the external screen crashing to black seconds nonstop. Switching the HDMI on the MHL port on the monitor completely solved this problem.

VIDEO: I'm only able to get a resolution of 2560 x 1080 scaling to fill the screen, which is a little fuzzy but fine for office tasks - selection reduced 3440 x 1440 or "best resolution for this monitor" translates into a look, windowed 16:9, with black bars on the right and left. I have not yet found solution to reach ultra-wide 21:9 angle at the native resolution (but would appreciate a).

VIDEO: Macbook 12 discs easily display 3440 x 1440 for tasks of office such as word processing and surfing. Video full HD YouTube is generally good, but gets now and then a little agitated.

AUDIO: Holding Option and clicking on the speaker icon in the menu bar show selectable option for the audio output to the device (monitor). On this screen, it seems to be a problem of reception of the signal of the Macbook when another device is connected to another port. In my case, a PC connected to the DisplayPort would be "laundered" the audio signal of Mac but ONLY if the PC has been out audio through external speakers, not the monitor (a lot of trial and error to discover this. When the audio PC sent ONLY to the screen, the monitor then accept the audio signal of the Mac, too. But have an external speaker connected via a cable audio 3.5 mm to the pc mobo (taken minijack) would somehow replace the TWO PC and Mac audio signal to the monitor. Something to do through the DP connection maybe)

with ASUS PB27Q (2560 x 1440) via an adapter, no problem.

with ASUS PA328Q more ASUS PB287Q (3840 x 2160 or '4 K') using the same adapter. Cursor extremely lag/Office up to that you enable DP (Displayport) 1.2 through settings on the screen of the monitors. This allows the Macbook to drive a monitor 4K at 30 Hz, which is always a little laggy, but realistic enough to be productive for word processing, surfing, etc. Would not recommend a 4K monitor for Macbook 12 for a really "nice" experience until / unless that 60 Hz is an option.

Hope someone finds this is useful.

  • In iMac Activity Monitor, Disk Monitor shows 26 son of Firefox, when 2 are open. Why?

Is it normal that my iMac Activity Monitor to view 26 Firefox threads when I only have one tab open? Should I worry about this?

Probably, you are referring to the process of Firefox.

Each process can threads within a process to perform specific tasks in parallel, see multiple threads in a specific active process is quite normal.

Only one thread can be active at the time and the other waiting to be taken up (allocation at the time).

  • Tecra 9100: Unable to connect external monitor to the APR III Plus via DVI

    Hello
I have a laptop Tecra 9100 that I try to use with an Advanced Port Replicator III (APR3 +) to connect to an LCD flat screen widescreen Dell via the DVI connector, but so far without success.

All other connections on the APR3 + operate without problem, the monitor stir however not until Windows finishes loading, how it shows a totally white screen with black bars very close down vertically.
I upgraded to the latest version of the BIOS and tested all the cables, but in vain. I also carefully searched from Toshiba Web site, but the only document which deals with taken ports supported on the APR3 + I can find does not list my laptop model at all.

Please can you tell me if this mode of operation is supported and if it is how to enable it?
Alternatively, if it is not supported, could I use a VGA - DVI cable to connect the APR3 + LCD flat screen?

    Concerning
    Ross.

    Hello

I see that you have updated the BIOS. I think that it was not a bad idea, but you also need to check if you have installed the latest version of TOSHIBA Mobile Extension 3.
I don't know if that helps, but please check.

How to check the current version of TOSHIBA Mobile Extension 3
-Select Control Panel in the start menu.
S ' please click on ' Add / Remove Programs "from the control panel.
-TOSHIBA Mobile Extension 3 for Windows XP V3.xx.xx.XP"appears in the list of software to ' Add or Remove Programs".
-If the current version of TOSHIBA Mobile Extension 3 installed on your computer is V3.19.00.XP or more, please upgrade to the new version V3.21.00.XP.

How to upgrade the TOSHIBA Mobile Extension 3 to version V3.21.00.XP
-Uninstall the current version of TOSHIBA Mobile extension 3
    -Restart the computer.
-Download the new version, unzip it by running, and run "Setup.exe" from the compressed file.

  • Tecra M2: No. 1400 x 1050 resolution graphics and an external monitor

    Hello.
I use a Tecra M2, with GeForce FXGo5200, Win XP (patched), latest graphic driver 4.6.4.4.
    Problem:
There is no possibility to standard resolution 1400 x 1050 to the external monitor.

1600 x 1200 (and higher), 1280 x 1024 and many others are available in a long list, but the one I need for the Samsung 203 b is missing - even if "no longer view the resolutions not taken in charge" in the monitor display properties is disabled.
According to the manual of T2, 1400 x 1050 is supported.

Tested with 1600 x 1200 on a different monitor and it works perfectly.
Interesting: If I uninstall the graphics driver, I can go to 1400 x 1050, so from a technical point of view, it should work.

Work without graphics driver is no alternative.
If anyone has had this problem or knows how to force the pilot to switch to 1400 x 1050?
    Thank you very much!

    You re right.
Supported by this resolution, but it seems that this resolution was not in the graphics card drivers.
I put t know why the factory doesn't graphics driver includes some resolutions to this software but if it s are not so I guess there's nothing to see. :(

  • Is Tecra A8 - possible to use a Monitor wide screen as the secondary monitor?

Tecra A8-160 supports a Monitor wide screen (1400:900) as a second monitor? I use the Dualview - not Clone.

    Hello

The question is what that jack the external display supports?
I think that you can connect each external monitor, but you must be sure that the laptop will support the cable from the laptop.
In addition, the resolution of the screen may be different. As far as I can remember that some screen resolutions are not listed in the properties of the graphics card. But I think that you don't need to use the resolution of the screen exactly one.

I recommend taking the laptop at the dealership to monitor and its connection. You can check the output quality of monitor and what resolutions are available and taken care of. I think that testing before buying something are very useful.
