MONKEY AVI problem
I have a windows Vista Ultimate Intel Core 2 CPU. 2.40 GHz and 4 gigabytes of RAM with a 32-bit operating system.
When I use Adobe first Elements 9 (I like to call it EPA 9 for short), I can't use video files in AVI format. Becomes very annoying, as my camera records in AVI.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Sonarbuddy

Camileo S20 avi. problems
So I have a S20 Camileo and I can watch the videos without any problem in Windows media player, DivX player, etc..
But when I try to put it in an editor like After Effects or Windows Movie Maker I can hear the sound but can't see the video.
Is there anyone who knows how can I fix?
I m not an expert editing but maybe you need to install plug-ins or video codecs.
What operating system do you use? -
When I try to make an AVI file with resolution 1920x1080p, the software renders the video, but it leaves as 720x480p, and I don't know why, as I can't find a good compressor as the AVI files I realized appears as a 55GO file, and it is impossible to record on a disc or a dvd...
I hope someone knows what to do, or at least if someone tell me a good compressor (also on creation) we would appreciate a LOT.

I imported a couple of AVI files in first pro, but they do not seem to have downloaded correctly. The audio is good, but the video only shows the first seconds, stretched (like the slo - mo) to last for the duration of the audio. The files work fine when played with windows media player. I use CS4.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
AVI is only a 'wrapper '. They can contain almost anything. This ARTICLE will give you some information on the wrappers and how 'look' inside of them. Please provide the details, that the G-Spot will give you, and we can make recommendations.
Good luck

PS - I'll go with the thought of Curt, unless the G-Spot shows us both wrong.

I recently bought a camera of the fauna which records AVI video files. Once converted, the intelligent use of the Pro converter for - iPad.m4v files, I can play the files on my Mac desktop. However when I transfer the converted files (copied to an SD card using an Apple camera connection kit) on my iPad air he does not see them, and I'm unable to transfer them or read them on my iPad.
Why play the files converted on my Mac BUT not on my iPad? Please, can someone advise if it is possible to overcome this problem.
I understand that there is a problem of codec with iPad playback of AVI files, that's why they need to be converted BUT even when the files are converted, they do still have no game on the iPad...

Invalid Image - AVI file type + monkey plan color extract + threshold
Hello
I don't have a lot of experience on LabVIEW so far... This may be the reason why I'm faced with the following problem.
I would like to open an AVI file and turn to get that information. That's why I tried a 'easy' step by opening the file, view, by modifying the file (single color plane Extraction) and showing that one too, after that the avi image enters the threshold function and appears as well.
I use LV10. And when I run the vi 1074396080 error occurs (invalid Image Type). I tried to use different avi files but it still does not work. What Miss me?
Thanks for your help!
My vi:
and the error:
Use IMAQ create for you another image buffer to save an image. Give it the name in levels of gray or something like that. Connect the output of IMAQ Create at the Dst Image IMAQ ExtractSingleColorPlane entrance.
Use IMAQ create for you a third image buffer to save an image. Give him the binary name or something like that. Wire out of the IMAQ create the Dst Image IMAQ threshold entry.
You can put the screws to create IMAQ on the diagram outside the loop, just below the existing IMAQ create.

IMAQ - SGL in RGB? JPG, save the AVI recording problem...
Hi all..
Currently, I am working on a project concerning the treatment of the infrared image...
I'm currently building saving Image Photo and recording function avi video...
What I have to do is save the image with the color palette selected to user in format JPG and AVI...
The problem is my image data type is gray (SGL) and the only support of "IMAQ AVI write Frame.vi / writing file (JPG)" the image of U8 and U32 RGB type...
I am trying to cast the type, but since we don't have the vision of labview license... so I don't have the "Imaq Cast Image.vi" to treat the good cast...
Is there some way could solve my problem?
Thanks for any help...

just today, when I try to play AVI files from my digital camera... no sound plays on my pc with media player v11... I suspect it's a codec problem, but how do I know for sure?
Hello Jorstar1,
Thank you for your message. Windows Media Player 11 supports .avi, but compression can dictate whether he will play or not. This is very probably a Codec issue, you can perform a websearch for a Codec that will play any avi compression. Please let us know if it did or did not help to resolve this problem.See you soonEngineer Jason Microsoft Support answers visit our Microsoft answers feedback Forum and let us know what you think.

Hello
I use the WRT1900ACS 2.0.0.173388 firmware and I noticed a few videos with. Just SRT subtitles does not work on my smarttv via DLNA server.
I have some MKV videos with. The SRT subtitles I can perfectly look through DLNA, but. MP4. AVI and others. MKV seems simply do not find subtitles.
All of these videos with. SRT subtitles, I can watch properly on my Mac or directly into the USB port on the TV, which seems to clearly be a problem with the router or some settings.
I tried to rename the extension of the file from. MP4 and. AVI to MKV, but also did not work.
Are there other settings that I can do?
I suggest you use a software of 3 rd-party, which we are not trained for, that can integrate the file of external subtitles for YouTube videos. Media Server is a router feature that will allow you to stream multimedia files to your DLNA or active UPnP devices within your network. With this, external subtitles as SRTs file may or may not be detected because it is not a file of DLNA support.

Display of a .avi file problems
I deleted an important video out of my SD card and downloaded a program to retrieve it. The program has recovered the video, but I'm unable to watch the video on my computer now. I also tried to download a program that fixes damaged files, thinking that the video may have been damaged. This program sets the video, but I can still view the .avi file! When I try to open the file, Windows Media Player displays this error message: Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The player might not support the file type or does not support the codec used to compress the file.
I clicked web help after this error message came, but wasn't able to figure out what to do to solve my problem. I need to download a different codec? Or is - this video never go to work? I am able to play my camera (that I don't delete and have to pick up) the other .avi files on my computer, but not those I could recover. Help, please! THIS VIDEO IS IMPORTANT FOR ME!Hello

noise problem Windows movie maker 2.6 when recording in dv - avi format
I installed the filmmaker windows 2.6 on windows 7 Home premium. Everything works fine. When I try to record the final film in DV - AVI format, I get 5-7 seconds of noise very high height introduced where ever there is a change of clip. IE if I have 10 different clips in my film, I get this noise at 10 different locations in my last recorded movie. These are the places where begins a new clip. There is no such noise present when I play the project in movie maker is not present in the original source file (which is an avi file).
Interestingly, when I save the movie in any format as DV - AVI, (IE high video quality, local playback or any wmv file) there is no such noise introduced in the final movie. I used the same clips to make the final movie in windows xp using movie maker 2.1 and there was no question also in the recorded final DV - AVI movie.
So the problem seems to be only on movie maker 2.6 on windows 7, when recording in DV - AVI format (all other formats of work correctly). Clips of same worked well on movie maker 2.1 on windows XP, when recording in DV - AVI format.
I suspect that the video filters (in tools-> options) could be the reason. I checked and all active video filters are those in C/windows/SYSWOW64 directory, so there is no non-microsoft video filter.
Pls help as windows live movie maker (installed on windows 7) all blocks left and right and is basically useless because it can't record any movie to the end. Director of Windows 2.1 was the best choice, but it cannot be installed on windows 7. I can download the video to show what kind of flicker noise is there at the beginning of each clip. It is a volume high, shrill noise as if two things are rubbing against each other.
