More on vectors

I got a response on a previous message on vectors by pointing out that the contents are actually pointers. Sending a vector that contains a table with another task then basically has the same effect than to the public register for the receiver of the vector

Is this a correct assumption?

Yes, but I think your formulation could be more better to make sure it's clear what you're saying.

"... content are actually pointers... I think that references is a more specific term than pointers but it's okay.

«Sends a vector...» ».  You usually send not a vector, you pass the reference to the vector.

'... which contains a table' it does not contain the table, it contains a reference to an array.

"... has the same effect that make the public table" Correct, but again, it is probably more accurate to say that this amounts to move the reference to the table to the receiver.

Hello! I have a few questions about the ability of HTML5 edition.

-The code may be reduced or optimized? It seems to generate a lot of code, what was I doing some sprites with fade in/out transitions. On a 1000 lines of code. It also seems to be using an older method of CreateJS?

-The code that generates the CreateJS can be changed?

-Exportable graphics and video clips to the format parent? If I have a bitmap which is 1000 x 1000, but the scene of his only 250 x 250, it generates it with the 1000 x 1000 in mind. Even with forms, etc. I know it's a stretch, but would be cool. And a great help with optimization.

    Thank you!

The code includes everything you need to describe your calendar and your library. A custom acceleration or a motion tween, can take a lot of code to reproduce. If you use tweens, classic tweens who use normal acceleration (the number of-100 to + 100), generates a lot less code than the one that has been twisted at all.

Complex vector shapes take up a lot of details, you could simplify the forms to save a few lines of code. Or change the more complex vectors as bitmaps.

Published bitmaps are made to the size of the bitmap in the library, not the size they are onstage.

You can change the generated code, but generally you wouldn't. You can use the browser developer tools to identify problems, then find the original code in your FLA, fix things and republish.

Once you are done editing you can also image optimize bitmaps published, to save on the size of the download.

You could shrink the JS file, but already, there is data compression in the file editing, and reduce is not much gain.

  • Flash of cropping

Is it possible to crop my drawings in Flash CS5? I want to make a scrolling background out of this:WoodsProblem.png

.. .and I want to crop the ends of these layers so that they are smooth, like this:TOOC2-01.png

.. .but that was done in the paint, so it is more graphic vector. So is there a way to achieve the foregoing by cropping or in any other way in Flash CS5?

Add this one to your point, click it to select it (if it is not already selected), click on edit/bitmap/change bitmap image and choose some settings (your from can be rude), and then click ok.  you will now have a vector of this bitmap.  You can click to select the two rows of two lower tops and then right click and click Save to convert those to a movieclip.  You can then go to the timeline of the movieclip and color the same.

There are many variations of these steps that work and there are other things you can do, including mask that can be used to bring up and oppose are cropped.

  • Import Illustrator files into Flash

I'm using Flash CS4 and I want to import a * file WAS containing the shapes of the countries of Europe. The thing is that each country has a topping of points (blue or yellow) instead of a solid color. Here's a screenshot of my Illustrator screen:http://img5.imageshack.us/img5/6983/testedd.jpg

When I import the AI in all these points are rasterized and everything looks like to crushed because I have more Flash vector points but rather in bitmaps. Example of the exported SWF file: http://takeab.us/SPL_embed/index_carte.html
(try and right click and zoom, you will see how it looks like)

So what is the best way to import a file I and also retain the vector shapes? I tried with an EPS version and still no hope.

    Select each country.

Object > expand, then Pathfinder > Crop.

You must ensure that the model is considered as vector objects. It will do for many more objects well.

    Repeat for all countries.

Then copy > paste into Flash.

Is there a way to make the vector lines (Path) more Visible in Photoshop CC on OSX? Just passed from the CS6 in the CC, and it is very difficult to see when they are in fact seen visible.

Apart from excellent advice from Terri, there is no way to really change how the paths appear - nevermind, I could use those more visible as well.

  • Hello good day. I made a text in photoshop, but it's all jagged crept with few DPI more it already with a resolution of 300 DPI. I wonder if is to improve the text of the resolution, then it only would not serrated, to stay a vector type. Thank you.

    Hello good day.

I made a text in photoshop, but it's all jagged crept with few DPI more it already with a resolution of 300 DPI.

I wonder if is to improve the text of the resolution, then it only would not serrated, to stay a vector type. Thank you.

Judging by 277% zoom, this text seems to be too small in size in points for a good

reproduction in the form of a chart with 300 DPI raster.

If this text could be exported as PDF vector illustration is doubtful.

Finally the effects prevent the Visual text to be managed as a vector.

It is not yet clear if the glyphs are typographically clean (not distorted).

A debate on these issues is here:

  • Vector Illustrator to Photoshop Smart objects is more editable...?

I've just updated my CC and experiencing some weird behaviors between Illustrator and Photoshop. I always start in Illustrator to make my designs (logos, etc. for the vector art) and then build in Photoshop for brochures and other media. I always copied and pasted as smart objects (from Illustrator into Photoshop) and production wise, this is a quick easy workflow - I can go back and change my smart objects by clicking twice if necessary changes.

However, after update CC two days ago, I feel something I've never seen. When I paste the graphic Illustrator (such as a smart object) I can no longer double-click the layer to edit in Illustrator - I am panic and need help! What they have done or what has changed? It's ruining my workflow and I would really appreciate the help. The alert script error I get when I double click on the vector smart object is "this element is not directly editable in photoshop, but it can be placed in a document. To move the item, drag it into an open document. "Why I'm doing this and why they would change?

    Help, please

Is there a way to express my concerns?

Your first message is at odds with your last. You said in your first post that you double-click to edit a vector pasted in Photoshop into Illustrator. Then you say you want to go back to Illustrator and "hunt for the object."

As long as you have the option "add to my current library" unchecked when pasting, it should work as before. Is there something I'm missing here?

  • pasted from illustrator vector dynamic object cannot be changed more

Guys, I don't know if it s me be stupid or what.

I have countless photoshop files that have vector smart objects. I used to double-click them, edit them in illustrator, save in illustrator, then back to photoshop with the updated file.

Now I have an icon of clouds, and when I double click I get this crazy message:

This point is not directly editable in Photoshop, but it can be placed in a document. To move the item, drag it into an open document.

Well, I don't want to edit in Photoshop. I want to edit in Illustrator as it s always summer.

I tried this new library thing, but I get the same message.

I went through all the options when I right click on the smart object I just pasted in photoshop, illustrator, but nothing.

    Help, please

(he is my latest version of photoshop, I wish that I can undo the last update)

You don't have to use the library if it messes up your workflow. If you want to change a bound and smart object which has been placed through the library, you can right-click on the layer in the layer panel and change from a link if so incorporated

  • Lines/vector graphics are more high quality / sharp in 2015 of the Illustrator

    Hello

I used to use CS5 and have now upgraded with a subscription to Adobe CC.

These lines appear perfectly if I open them on the old computer with CS5, but they "break" here.  Screen attached.

Anyone know if it's just a matter of display settings?  If so, how can I solve this problem.

If I send this file to someone with an older version of Adobe CS, it seems to display perfectly for them.

Notice the lower left and right corners below.  They appear smooth and connected in older versions of CS

    I understand
Vector signal analyzers OR consist of 2 or 3 separate PXI modules: 1
digitizer, 1 buck converter of RF frequencies and 1 generator of signals (model 5663).

    1. can I use digitizer and signal
generator general purpose oscilloscope and generator of signals separately?

2 may I build my own VSA by choosing
different combinations of scanners and the signal generators? Or replace the signal
generator by an arbitrary signal generator?

    3.       I
intend to buy a digitizer/oscilloscope and an arbitrary signal generator
analysis of response of frequency on the transformers. Later I plan to
buy a step-down converter frequency and build a vector signal Analyzer. Is this possible?

    Hello

The frequency IF the 5660 and 5661 (it's the same thing) is 15 MHz, with an instantaneous bandwidth of 20 MHz. The difference between the 5660 and the 5661 is located in the digitizer that accompanies it. The 5660 uses the PXI-5620 digitizer that has a sampling rate 64 MECH. / s and a buck converter of digital frequency limited to 1.25 MHz of bandwidth. The 5661 uses the digitizer PXI-5142, giving you a MECH 100. / s rate and a PSO allowing digital downconversion circuit and the decimation of the full bandwidth of 20 MHz.

The common comment in the SBA above is the RF PXI-5600 frequency step-down converter which is a superheterodyne architecture of three floors. OL is for the three stages of this module are auto-approvisionnées in their own country. The architecture of several step allows for rejection of the improved image and filtering at the expensive of a noise floor slightly higher due to the signal path more complex. There also an OCXO on board, this gives him a time reference more precise - noise reduction phase etc. The PXI-5600 by itself is wide from three locations.

The SMU-5601 since SMU-5663 step-down is designed based on the single frequency step-down converter and resumes from a single location. The celled frequency step-down converter gives you improved noise floor characteristics and a better dynamic range, with the rejection of the image fees, having does not simply because there is only one step. The LO is provided by an external module in this case for several reasons. Have a separate external LO allows more modularity in your system, as well as the ability to share a single LO generator between several vendor-specific attributes. This opens the possibility of MIMO applications. The internal of the NI PXI-5600 LOs are not shareable and therefore cannot be synchronized between several PXI-5600 s. The PXI-5663 (all three modules) takes up the same amount of space in the slot as a single NI PXI-5600 without a digitizer.

The PXI-5154 is indeed a powerful scanner, given its instantaneous bandwidth of 1 GHz. Remember, however, that the connector Active Directory on this digitizer is 8 bits, compared to the 5622 which is 16-bit. If you need more resolution is of course entirely depends on your application. The PXI-5600, as SMU-5601 is controllable as a buck converter stand-alone frequency using the DAMA API OR. You will need to program your application with the scope API for use with PXI-5154 OR and the API de DAMA. A few other caveats to note is that there is no PSO on the PXI-5154 so you can't enjoy the Equalization filter to correct the frequency of the NI PXI-5600 response. Also, as I mentioned above, the frequency of YEW of the NI PXI-5600 has 15 MHz with a bandwidth of 20 MHz - processor 1 GHz bandwidth on your digitizer will be somewhat of an overdose of the IF signal.

While you're dead on with the advantage of modularity, I would take the time to really meet your search application and ensure that different choices of module and their combinations to meet these needs.

    Hope that helps!

  • HP 8600 pro: vector graphics HP - GL2 on HP 8600

How does the HP 8600 of vector graphics?  I understand well, it does not support the HP - GL2, while in

graphical language should we support and where can I get the manual programming for her?

    Thanks for your help,

    Homer W. Smith

    (Personal information by moderator)

The specification (see http://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-Officejet-Pro-8600-Plus-e-All-in-One-Printer-series---N911/4322915/model/4323647/document/c02858465/ ) the series OfficeJet Pro 8600 printers indicates that the only supported Language of Description of Page is HP PCL 3 enhanced.

I think that PCL 3 enhanced (and other PCL3- based PDLas PCL3GUIs) are mainly based on the pixelation, in that each page is made up one (or more) encapsulated, images compressed raster; compression can use methods.

that is, it does not support no matter what vector image constructions at all.

The language supports a (very) small number of PCL escape sequences to provide the encapsulation of raster and initialization of the device.

I don't think that HP publishes one or other of these s PDLused by inkjet printers.

  • Why WPF vector Plot taking so long (10 sec) to Render 4 x 1000 points when zoomed in tight on the y-axis?

It is a bit of a pathological taken on a problem that we see in our use of the WPF chart, but it highlights the source of the problem, I hope.

The attached simple application has a WPF (RenderMode = vector) graphic and 4 LinePlotRenderers, each trace some 1,000 points (data). When you try to resize the window (or maximize chart), it takes about 10 seconds to display the chart (resolution 1440 x 900). This example is very tight zoomed in on some pathologically noisy data; I think that the problem of the stems, somehow, because of the noisy data goes off top and bottom of the screen at each point.

If zoom you out (ex: the interval value Y [-5000, 5000]) the rendering performance improves to ~ 1 sec, but we don't want to artificially limit our users in their zoom.

I found this passage in Raster or turning off anti-aliasing allows, but we would like to use the vector rendering for esthetics and because LinePlotRender Raster, we cannot define StrokeThickness.

Any suggestions how we can keep the vehicle for anti-aliasing and improve rendering performance?

(I tried several configuration, but I develop AnyCPU, on an Intel i5 with integrated graphics NVidia)

After looking at your example, I think your analysis is correct: the generated WPF way objects take considerably more time to make when they become visually louder. Because vector mode is designed to provide the same Visual rendering as WPF, it is limited by the performance of the WPF visuals.

As a workaround for race thickness raster support, you may be able to use the custom converter attached instead of a line rendering engine. The custom converter uses overlap to simulate thicker lines (even if it is limited by the resolution of the bitmap raster image).
