morph path keyframe

Hey guys! So I'm notScreen Shot 2016-08-24 at 10.27.25.pnging this animation with morphing different shape layers, but I want a shape layer to stay longer, until it turns into the following form. If its basically I have three layers of form, a tear, a heart and a gun. I want the heart to stay longer, until it turns into the gun. Now I tried to fix the value of the speed and everything's still not enough time. What should I do?

You can copy paste the key like this picture

You should probably some read more on keyframes for opportunities. Look here: setting, selecting and deleting keyframes in After Effects and this interpolation of keyframes in After Effects

  • Morphing path problem

    Hello

    I'm running a problem trying to turn two forms (created using Illustrator).

    Here are the steps I took: (the problem is in bold)

    1. Imported two Illustrator files in AE and put them on the timeline in two distinct layers.
    2. Converted the two forms of vector layers
    3. Paths of alterations to two shape layers.
    4. Copy/Pasted the path of Shape1 on the timeline for Shape2.
    5. Changed 'First Vertex Point' for the two paths so that they are in the corresponding positions.
    6. After step # 5, morphing between the two railways retained 'twisty - effect' during Interpolation.

      I did some research and discovered that the other summits have been numbered probably not elsewhere due to I made them in Illustrator.
    7. To address the problem of summits, I copied the path of Shape2 and stuck in Illustrator, I used the "Reverse Path Direction" tool in the attributes Panel. (To do this, I pasted the path, then you press Command-8, then past the meaning of the path).
    8. Once the meaning of the path has been reversed, I pasted the path for Shape2 in the timeline for Shape1 and got the desired morph I wanted to (much more natural, non-twisty)
    9. However, now, the path for Shape2 moves to the upper-left corner of the Composition during Interpolation and I don't know why.  I checked and there is no enabled for movement of position keyframes.  (Anchor point for path crosses the top left of the computer)

      When I try to drag the way back in its normal position, the entire layer is moved.

      The problem seems to be solved when I paste the path in a different group in the same layer, however, I still have to manually set the positioning.  This workaround is problematic for the project I am working because the forms that I work with several paths. and by dragging each a return to manual position is not accurate, nor it is time-saving.  Note: I have not been able to enter values numerically position to solve this problem.  He has lived it all physical dragging.)

    What is causing the path to move over the Interpolation and how can I prevent it?

    I hope I was able to articulate the problems I encounter.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

    Thank you, once again!

    on the way to Morphing:

    to create smoother transitions in the shape on the form, you can use the interpolation of mask - it creates intermediate keyframes between two path keyframes. Read about it here: management and animation of paths form and masks in After Effects . Unfortunately, this is for mask paths and not form. but you're smart - you can copy the path of a mask, do your thing and then paste it back. or maybe you don't have the form anyway. see if it works.

    on Offset of the path:

    I was able to reproduce the problem. Here's how I see it: when you convert layers have forms Ae, they get some position attributes so that they will be placed in the same position. Note If you click UU you get the changed properties:

    When you paste the path of illustrator you paste on a layer that has a lag of transformations and that is why your layer is up there.

    This, I do not understand:

    "To address the problem of summits, I copied Shape2 path and stuck in Illustrator, I used the"Reverse Path Direction"tool in the attributes Panel. (To do this, I pasted the path, then you press Command-8, then past the meaning of the path). »

    you don't need to copy paste EI AI and back when you can copy paste the original layer of AI to Ae. to do this, copy - paste only once. You can copy paste paths of the EI and ch AE too.

    Here's my suggested solutions (choose a! not all of them):

    1 reverse the way AI - save the file and convert the layer shape again - this way, you have no copy paste the way AI, but only of the Ae.

    2 reset the transformations and properties of position for the Group shape. then copy paste will be exactly where is your path.

    3. If you don't really need forms, you can work with layer masks and copy paste like crazy to AI without lag

  • Morphing of the shape in question, where is my image of key path

    This is probably a really easy question, but I had way too much frustration about that.

    I am morphing shapes I've done successfully, but for some reason, I ran into this issue. When I create a form with the tool pen and then open content > shape 1 > 1 way is the keyframe, the path option.

    The problem:

    I then use the rectangle tool on the same shape layer or a separate shape layer and create my form, and then open content > rectangle 1 > 1 rectangle path and there is not an option for a path keyframe. The keyframe only options I get are size, position and roundness. Where is my path keyframe option?

    Is there a difference I know between the building shape with the pen tool and the shape tool?

    I watched a few tutorial on converting the form of Bézier, but when I click right I do not get this option.

    I use a mac with AE CS6

    Any help is very appreciated

    Make a right click on the name of the rectangle in THE TIMELINE, not the composition window, you can create a nonparametric form by pressing the Alt/Option key and choose only a form.

  • Animation path trouble...

    Trying to create a path Animation, but it does not work.  I understand the easy to do this is to create a mask path, cut the path and paste it into the Position property of the object.   However, my layer already has a mask, so when I create the second mask path and cut and paste, he is constantly sticking in like a mask, even though I have the selected Position property.

    A little more detail:

    There is a layer PSD w / several seeds fly in the wind of a tree. I need animate these.  In AE, I duplicated the layer again (one for each seed) and isolated from the seed w / a form of mask and refocused the anchor point layer in the center of the seed.  Once all of these layers are separated (12 layers of seeds w / a seed per layer). I tried to add a mask path to a layer of seeds.  I cut the mask path, selected the position property of the layer and pasted the mask path, but it sticks as a new mask - every time...

    Help, please!  What Miss me?

    THX,

    Tommy

    Well, then try this: make your mask path and make a the mask path keyframe.   Put you on the layer and make a keyframe to the Position.  Copy the mask path keyframe, place the cursor of the timeline on the keyframe Position, highlight it and tap on paste.  If you do not get stuck in the Position property mask path, something is wrong.

  • Path of the scale without affecting the width of the line:

    Hi all

    This seems like it should be simple to do, but I'm not having any luck here. Basically I have a path akin to a null value which controls several things, their downward revision, turning and moving through the composition. One of these elements is a path with a stroke of 32 px.  I want to be able to reduce the path itself, but let the race the same.

    I thought I could key the width of the line manually, but this has no effect - scaling upward does not seem that the path scales down to change the width of the line at all at the end keyframe, only to the first keyframe. I see the number of px start at 32 and increase until it moves along the timeline, even if the width of the line on the screen becomes even smaller as if there is no change at all to the width.

    Thank you!

    You don't want generally not scale the layer that contains the line, you want to add to the mask path keyframes and animate the size of the path. It's easy. You just start by double-clicking on one of the tops and using the processing area.

    If this technique does not work for you, then you have two other options, the two expressions involving. These two options use exactly the same expression to examine the magnitude of your layer draw and both assume that the null value is scaling to 100% at the beginning of the animation. The option I would choose would be to replace the mask path on a layer at once applied with layer of form with applied outline path. You have many more options, and you're dealing with vector information. Another solution, it's the expression.

    SF = thisComp.layer ("control Null 1").transform.scale[0]/100; ")

    OV = value;

    NV = ov / sf

    SF (scale factor) is the scale value x control null which is the parent of the stroke layer or the layer with the edge effect applied to a mask divided by 100. If you plan to scale X and Y of the parent you will need to edit the expression, and then combine the scale factors and this solution will not work as well.  The original scale value is divided by 100 to make it a decimal value

    OV (original value) is the initial value of the race.

    NV (new value) is calculated by dividing the original value by the scale factor.

    It is base of the 7th grade algebra. If your parent control is scaling less than 0 then the race will disappear because the value won't change a negative number. If it is necessary in your publication, you can write an if statement that will change the nv back to a positive number if the scale factor becomes less than or equal to zero and solve the divide by mistake you would get with a scale factor of 0-0.

    One final point, and it's important. This expression will produce accurate results if applied to the size of the brush of a mask path when you use the effects > Generate > stroke effect to create your line but when bracts plus 100% of the line begins to fall apart and anti-aliasing will not be able to catch up with pixilation caused by scale. About 120% line will start to look slimmer and more than 140% Cela will look bad even if the width of the line is numerically accurate.

    I'll let you take it from there.

  • Animate a value scale mask path and point - help

    Hey all,.

    I was hoping to get clarification on some animation that I'm doing it in AE. I'm animating the scale of an image to move from large to small while using a mask in this topic. When I create keyframes I also create for the mask path keyframes and adjust accordingly, but it's something strange. It seems to be adding some sort of strange acceleration effect do not know what else to call it, which causes the trace of mask to develop first and then shrink. I have only 2 keyframes for the track, mask and 2 for the image scale neiter have had any type of assignment of keyframe animation applied to them (regular keyframes). It's as if she started scaling the mask path upward. I did this process with the position and the track of the front mask and had no problems.

    Anyone have any idea why he would do that. I tried to look elsewhere for an answer with no luck, any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you.

    Is there maybe a way to disconnect the mask of the object so that the mask is no longer the effects of animation of the scale?

    Duplicate your layer and one with the mask to use as a matte for the other.

  • Rotoscoping with Auto track and Hold keyframes, it produces

    I was watching the masks which have been created with AUTO TRACE and noticed that they are air-conditioned and equipped with HOLD keyframes.  I had used hold keyframes only on the opacity of the mask, but not on the way to mask it's the best way to go - with wedge for mask path keyframes.  I have switched between cale and linear but can not see and difference

    I have switched between cale and linear but can not see and difference

    You would see only a difference, when you use motion blur (lots of it). Otherwise the areas inbetween keyframes do not appear in the equation, and therefore the Visual result is the same.

  • 'Remove' legs for cardboard airplane

    Hello

    I have a video of me running around with a box around my waist. This box looks like an airplane. This may sound strange, but I want to give the impression that I'm flying in this area. Everything under the box, my legs, I therefore remove the video. I watched a lot around on the internet, but I can't find the answer how to do this. I guess I have freeze the video (still image) and put the video on this backdrop, but what to do next? How can I remove my legs in all frames?

    Thanks in advance,

    .. . How can I cut a hole driven, the masks because of staying in the same place?

    You can animate masks by assigning a mask path keyframe, and then moving to the bottom of the timeline, and change the mask path, which automatically creates a new image of mask path.  The process is called Rotoscoping.

    I must warn you: this thing of rotoscoping is NOT for the faint of heart.  It's hard.  Before jump you in the deep end of the pool, I highly recommend that you read up on it.

  • 9 meadow, zoom on a clip?

    IM as a video and I want to make the video start zoomed in and she progresses, to zoom out. I know the zoom on the effect, but it's still the same for the entire clip (no movement). I already have a top transition, so I can't use the zoom transition. are there other methods to do the PrE 9?

    Of course! It is called motion path keyframing.

    I'll devote a chapter in my book to it, step by step. But you can also learn how do by downloading the PDF free "basic Keyframing' of http://Muvipix.com.

    Just go type 'base keyframing' in the area of product search on the homepage to find.

  • Creating slide show, zoom/pan

    I work with still images in a slide show. An effect that I saw in the videos is where the slide zooms and pans for the duration of the time that it is displayed. This is in addition to a transition. I am able to do this with the show in another program. They called for this purpose a "variation". Is it possible to apply this change as an effect in Premiere Elements?

    Pan/zoom effect is also called a trajectory or the Ken Burns effect. I'll show you how, step by step, in both my base Premiere Elements books and in my book "Cool tips tricks & hot' to Premiere Elements.

    There are a number of ways to do--but most effective is called motion path keyframing. I have a few free items on the creation of these trajectories to the first Elements Muvipix.com support site.

    See the PDF file, called "basic Keyframing. It will show you the principles.

  • Screen wide Pan & Zoon in the Organizer

    I have a bunch of pictures that I am putting together in PSE8. They are all grown in the format 16 x 9 and looks very nice on the TV screen.   I use Organizer to do some pan and zoom effects, but I can't find a way to export the file from the Organizer in PSE to make it on the big screen.  You can only seem to window a box 4:3 pan and zoom ratio.  Is there a setting for this or the other way around it?  I hate for some of the pictures to fill the screen and others not.  Sticky search.  Any suggestions?

    Well, if you want to do a 16:9 project, the best way is to do it manually.

    Set up a project DV 16:9 and in Edit/Preferences, turn off scale to the size of the image.

    The size of your photos to a size 1000 x 750 pixels, and add them to your timeline. Open the properties panel for each opening photo (right click and selecting view properties) creating the motion path keyframes to create your pan and zoom.

    (I show you how to proceed, with images, in my books.) However you can also find it in the article of my Steve to Premiere Elements support site http://Muvipix.comadvice, if you type 'Basic Keyframing' in the product search box.)

  • Unable to set the anchor points of the path when the keyframes turned on...

    I have a layer of irregular shape who I am deformation over time (from smallest to largest). I am able to set the anchor points of the path to the forms I want, but once I put two keyframes for the path I'm interpolating a slide, I'm more able to set the anchor points for minor changes, for example, I am unable to draw the Bézier handles. If I disable keyframes, then I am allowed to adjust the anchor again, but that means I have to start whenever I need to make an adjustment. I have run successfully the concept but need to change several layers of form in this way, and not having is not access to the Bézier handles point of anchorage slows productivity.

    Any ideas?

    Sorry, I missed the rather obscure reference to an expression in the first post you. Had, I had to pay more attention I'd say disable the expression to change the path, and then select. Not being able to select a top with the marks of perfectly logical on expression because it is turned on with the full path is selected by the expression of all time. This is how work expressions. This seems to be a lot of trouble to go just to change the "timing" of a couple of keyframes.

  • match the keyframes when you paste the path

    Hi all

    I'm trying to figure out how to copy a path (mask) in the thickness of a line.  The race follows the path.

    I have two channels on a single layer. I apply a line on one of the layers by using a path, then move the race via the 'end' stopwatch and use percent complete.

    I have two paths on the layer, they are sequential.

    On a layer above the layer with the strokes and the railways (masks), I have a small blue ball which

    I want to follow the paths that I created and move in harmony with the race.

    I copy the paths of keyframes in the position of the blue ball, but the position of the ball

    does not match the position of the race, at least in terms of timing. I would like the stroke and the ball to move

    at the same speed and position, as the 'balloon' preparing the white race.

    I am confused on how to get this to work - I think it has to do with the keyframe time vs. position keyframes.

    any ideas on that?

    Thank you

    eholz1 (eric)

    If the timing is your only problem, just open the position property and look at keyframes. There should be a diamond in the form of key at each end with a bunch of small round between the two keyframes. Between the two keyframes are set in cahoots with time. All you have to do is drag the keyframe to the left where it matches the keyframe at the end of your race. Things must match perfectly.

    If you need to vary the speed of the race, you will need to adjust the position of the round little in position keyframes so that they match. This changes the keyframes move you and it takes a bit of trial and error.

  • Using keyframes for the path expression access but use motion to set speed

    Graphic type work I do now involves simple animations of boxes across the screen. For example, the layer we could spend x pixels, pixels are layer 2, layer 3 pixel z, etc. So far, I've been keyframing these movements, but, as the distances, the different starting points and end varies a lot, I find that the speed of the movements vary and I want them all at the same speed. I can judge by the eyes or watch the keyframe graph, but I would find it rather an expression that looks like my start and end keyframes and moves the whole at a standard speed.

    I came with this expression to create a movement between two points at 400 pixels per second in the horizontal plane, but it does not work:

    K1 = key (1) .time;

    K2 = .time key (2);

    A = valueAtTime (K1);

    B = valueAtTime (K2);

    T = time-K1;

    If (time < K1) [value [0], [1]];

    else [A [0] +(T*400), value [1]];

    flange (position, A, B)

    If I remove the line of final tightening, then the animation starts and proceeds as you like, but does not stop. I put in the line of pliers, thinking it would stop the animation to the desired position, but it seems to reduce to nil the last lines of code and the animation follows the time where original keyframes.

    Thanks for any help.

    John

    I think it works:

    K1 = key (1) .time;

    K2 = .time key (2);

    A = valueAtTime (K1);

    B = valueAtTime (K2);

    d = length (A, B);

    hard = d/400;

    Linear(Time,K1,K1+dur,A,B)
