  If the problem occurs is no longer, it is very difficult to say what happened in the first place.

  Usually this problem is caused by:

  1. a virus
  2. permissions on files
  3. file system corruption

  You can perform a scan for virus - just in case.

  It feels a little silly, but I really have a problem. Recently, everything in my side bar of the Finder (Photos, Applications, downloads, Desktop, music, etc.) have disappeared. Of course, the files are still in my computer, but I can't access it from the finder; I must search for and type for them. I don't know how or why this happened.

  I tried to manually add some dos, starting with Applications, by dragging the folder in the sidebar. When I click it, it only shows half of the actual requests (probably the wrong Applications folder?). I tried to remove it by selecting 'Remove from Sidebar', but it won't work.   CS4 product serial numbers were specific platform, you can use the serial number for a single platform. If you have a serial number of the MAC version, then you can not install on windows and CS4 is not supported more, everything is on cloud now, Adobe does not provide physical support or the serial numbers for all legacy applications.

  Others have had problems similar to mine and I read all the posts but nothing seems to solve my problem.

  I saved a bunch of pictures in a folder on an external flash drive that were originally attachments in e-mail messages. They run very well on the disc and I opened and one closed the reader a couple of times but now I can't seem to open it in the viewer of photos or any other viewers. I have other pictures on the same drive in other folders and they open without any problems.

  The first time it happened I display thumbnails but could not open them. I just insterted my flash drive to see what was going on, and now I can see only 3 thumbnails on a total of about 50 photos. A lot of disk space too.

  Any suggestions anyone. Thanks a lot if you can try to help him.

  It should not make difference if the folder has been shared or not to see the photos.
  I suggest you see if you can copy them to the hard drive and then try to open in the Gallery of photos or a different default viewer.
