Motion tween adds new layer

I get rather belatedly faced with the new system of interpolation introduced in CS4.  To be honest, it was a nightmare, but I'm starting to see its good points now.

One thing that always makes me crazy is when you create a new Tween and Flash creates a new layer for you and puts the interpolation inside.  Why?  And how he stop?  During an animation of 10 min with a lot of preteens I could end up with hundreds of layers!

THX.

It creates a new layer when you have selected. This is because you can not interpolated element and non-interpolated on the same chassis (you can have non-interpolated elements on the same layer, but not shared image - as with any interpolation).

If you don't want to create a new layer, make sure that all is selected on that frame and it will create on the same layer.

Jen.

  • Apply the same motion tween in several layers

My character has many layers as arm, leg, eyes and I applied several tween in each layers, now I want to apply the same motion tween in all these layers, is there a way to do it?

    • Download Dave Logan - Flash Extensions NewerAnimClip and install it.
    • Select all layers that contain pieces of your character.
    • Run the command
    • Make sure that what he has created is set to be a graphic symbol
    • Under a loop, set your symbol 'Play once'.
    • Apply the motion tween your new graphic symbol.
  • I have a background image.  How can I add an image to the new layer?

I have a picture as locked background.  When I create a new layer, how can I put a new photo on the new layer?

File > place bound to add image (press ENTER after you have size and position) and it will become a dynamic object on its own layer.

  • How are we supposed to work with the new motion tweens if there is no editor of motion more?

How are we supposed to work with the new motion tweens if there is no editor of motion more? Without query editor, we can see what kind of key frames are defined and we cannot set acceleration anywhere. Adobe go us back and use the old motion tweens does want now?

    Hi all

Flash Pro CC 2014 (v 14.0.0.110) is now available for download through the creative application of cloud.

We have included a whole new motion editor and several other new features with this release of Flash Pro. The new query editor is completely redesigned, intuitive and easy to use while retaining the basic features and backward compatibility with Flash CS6

To call the query editor, just double-click on your motion tweens on the timeline (or right click and select "Refine the Motion") and the motion Editor opens in the context of the scenario itself. Double click again to collapse once you have made your adjustments.

Complete list of the new features of Flash Pro CC 2014 is available at these links:

  • Add a new layer as a last layer

    Hi friends,

How to add a new layer as a last layer in indesign scripting.

If the Document has 5 layers in this sense, the newly added layer must be the 6th layer.

    Please give some ideas.

    l = doc.layers.Add ();

l.Move (LocationOptions.AT_END); It will move at the bottom of the layer stack.

  • When dragging a file icon to add a new layer

Classroom in a book lesson 4, page 105

When you drag an icon from a file to a Photoshop file open window I get a circle with a diagonal line. i.e. it does not allow me to move/create a new layer.

    Am I missing something?

    Thank you

    Thanks for the reply!

Yes, to answer your question. But I think I found the problem.

After installation of Ps I've updated. At the end of the update, he said that one or more update programs "may" require a reboot. Since none of the programs said it wanted a reboot I have not.

Just to smile and laugh, I rebooted corrupts. After a reboot, I was able to drag files into the window of PS. Yes!

Moral of the story, if the update program says "may require a reboot" interpret this as"will require a reboot".

  • [Flash Pro] Motion tween is added an animated GIF picture

    * FIRST - I couldn't find one

Hi, I'm working on a school project and we have recently I do an animation before Monday.

So my problem is that I have a GIF of a man walking (which already has images by default to make the man walk) and I can not add a motion tween.

So we learned essentially to take a car for example. We import a photo of a car (non - gif; no pre animated movement) and select it. make a symbol (video clip), then click on frame 30 and "Create motion tween" as we moved the image to the end; What makes a path automatically.

But here, I can't do that because when I import the GIF man walking, he already has lots of raster data built in front to make the moving man and I cannot understand how to really add a motion tween to make man to move (of course with its PRE-BUILT animation [gif makes the arms and legs move]) and make him cross a road I built. So basically I want the man to move from one end to the other using a motion tween (or if there are other ways to do?) and alongside with its GIF data that moves its arms and legs.

    Small SS of my calendar:

    http://prntscr.com/b2qqwa

as you can see here; the second element/first layer called "anyone walk - 1" is a GIF image and when I load it, it loads its pre movements animated and I can't create a Tween to make humans image cross one end to the other with her has pre-built ones again.

Long, but I tried to make the Guide and all other acts and I tried Googling my head, spent 4 hours and found NOTHING. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. And our teacher didn't us really learn this type of concept and neither do I class before it is due, so you are my only hope.

    Thank you.

See if you can follow these steps:

Right-click on the name of the layer to the market-1 person.

    Select the copy layer.

Go to the library and click right in and empty the part of the library window and select new symbol. Will it be a movieclip.

Now, you will be inside this new movieclip. Right click in the layer 1 name and select the layer of dough.

You now have a moveiclip of your person walking. Go back to the top level of the scene and make a new layer.

Drag the new movieclip on the stage.

You should now be able to add a motion tween to this new layer. So who has worked, you can delete your original person market-1 layer.

  • How to make a motion tween play when you click it?

I am brand new to the FLASh and I have a motion tween of a wheel that rotates 360 degrees and I need to play when it is clicked on.  This is probably something that is really easy to do, but I just can't understand it.  Someone at - it good indications?

    Hello

you need to do an instance name for your movieclip, for example "myMC". Select the first frame in the new layer, and then click window-> Actions.

    To write:

myMC.stop (); stop your mc when movie starts

myMC.addEventListener (MouseEvent.CLICK, regarderMovie); Add a listener for the click of the mouse the mc that will trigger the function playMovie

    playMovie(event:MouseEvent) //function MC function start

    {

    myMC.play ();

    }

I hope this has been helpful.

  • CS4: insert a break between the motion tweens

    Hello

I use Flash since version 2 and find the switch for the frustrating new motion tweens.

I've scoured the web, read the tutorials and many of them discuss getting an object from point a to b.

I just want to move an object from left to right break (no problem) to 20 frames and then slide down.

I can accomplish a few ways, but it seems much too cryptic steps involved. A solution is relatively easy to implement, but timeline visualization that results is really poor.

    Here are my steps

    1: place symbol on stage

2: right click on the symbol > add the motion tween

3: (flash creates for 30 frames tween and playhead moved to frame 30)

4: I drag the symbol to the right

5: I manually add a property keyframe to frame 30 via F6 (which kind of lock the instance where I want)

6: I manually add another property keyframe to frame 50 (the symbol is in the same place, as it was at 30)

7: I add a regular raster through F5 to 80 frame and drag the proceedings down

First question is this the right way? Or should I have divided the animation?

As I said, it works, but my only complaint is that when the symbol doesn't move (between 30 and 50 frames) these frames are always blue. There is no way to look at the timeline and to know exactly where the object is paused. Doing so the old way, this gap would contain gray regular frames and be very easily identifiable. I have been programmed to understand that regular gray frames contain an object that is not moving, blue frames with arrows have... easy motion.

I am attaching a file that shows the animation I need with a classic Tween and has a layer showing the motion tween, I described above.

If someone could add a layer to this file with a better method and provide some instructions that would be great!

Thank you for your time and help

So, the way you have below is a way to do it for you. You don't need to necessarily use F6, but indeed "lock" the instance (all properties) between these two points.

Another way to do it (although which gives the same look of timeline), would be to insert a keyframe to the position in the frame of 30 and 50 frame. (Ctrl/Cmd + click, insert keyframe > position, or use the query editor). Which locks the position of these two points, and then you can continue the rest of the interpolation.

And another way to do this (look same timeline) would be to interpolate however desired, extend the tween, then copy to frame 30 properties and properties of the dough to frame 50. This will insert some keyframes are 30 frame and glue them to frame 50. It is the best way to do it if you have more than one interpolated property. You do not get the inserted additional keyframes (F6), and do not remember what type of key frame to insert (as in the previous way).

So if you want the appearance of the timeline to change, you can do this. You have the frame interpolation 1-30. Frame 31, F7 and then copy the instance to frame 30 and Ctrl + Shift + V to paste it in place in the frame of 31. Then the rest is roughly the same as with the classics - insert 50 frame images, press F6 to the 51 framework and create the new motion tween.

We played with the idea of changing the color in the middle of a range of interpolation, but it really complicated me soon with expectations (taking into account is the same instance as opposed to multiple instances of an object, etc.) and what it should look like (several shorter areas, does make sense for the user, what of facilitates etc.), so it was put on hold for the moment. It is something that we are always looking for good, and I'll add your notes to the existing enhancement request.

  • Text fade with motion tween

    Dear all,

I'm new to Flash and try to make a simple fade of the text with a motion tween.  I entered the text, converted to a graphic symbol, alpha channel frame 1 to 0% and on frame 30 to 100%, the add motion tween.  The text simply pop in to frame 30 with no fade from 0 to 30 in all.  I have the text defined as static.  Is this a bug of Flash?  I work with Flash CS3.  It's the same thing when I tried to zoom with a graph and I had to separate the two objects until I'm a Tween movement between them.  This does not work with the text, however.  Any suggestions?

    Small town Gal.

Adobe Flash CS3 Mac Pro Tiger 10.4.11

If you use the static text, the text is already built-in.  If you are using a dynamic or input text, you must embed your policy.  There is nothing else that needs to be done for an alpha fade effect using the text.

so, start again.  use static text, if that suits your needs.  put the text in its own layer in the frame where you want the blend to start. Click with the right button on the text, click on convert to symbol, click on the graph (or better click on movieclip).  in the properties panel, click the drop-down color menu, click alpha and enter 0, or move the slider to 0.  on the last frame of your bland chronology of the text layer a right-click and choose Insert keyframe.  in the properties panel, move the slide in the value of end-fade alpha.  Right-click between the two keyframes and click on create motion tween.  Repeat the test.

  • Not created motion tween work after exporting, but works in TEST MOVIE(ctrl+enter)

    I use actionscript3 and adobe flash cs4

my project consists of several different layers using option of classic motion tween in flash cs4

my project works very well when I test the movie using Ctrl + Enter

but after export my animation remains stationary

If anyone knows how to solve this you do not answer me. It will be very useful for me

Even it is a simple setting please answer me.

    It is very urgent.

    Thanks in advance

Do you use an ActionScript at all or is it all the movement right on the timeline?

If you do not use no matter what AS, then you can try to add a little to force him to play. Just add a new layer at the top. Click on the first image (which must be a keyframe - if she does not has made one) and press F9. This will open your window Actions. In the window type "play();" (without the quotes). Not sure if it will work or not, but it's worth a try!

If you use AS to make sure that you do not have a stop(); action anywhere that is not controlled.

    Good luck!

  • I can't apply a snippet of ActionScript to a button once a motion tween has been applied to the button. How can I do this?

I can't apply a snippet of ActionScript to a button once a motion tween has been applied to the button. How can I do this?

I use Adobe Flash Professional 15.0.1.179.
My operating system is Mac OS x 10.11

I am able to apply a snippet of code ActionScript for the button before you apply a Tween movement on the button; However, when I try to apply the snippet for the button after the motion tween has been applied, I am unable to do so. The action panel reads "Select a single image to apply or view script."

    Hi Robert,.

That seems fine. You should be able to add code snippets at this stage.

    Try following the steps below:

    1. Select None (click somewhere on the empty area on the stage)

    2. click on frame 1 of your third layer. (be sure that a picture is selected)

3 open the Code Snippets Panel, choose the desired code snippet and apply it. (the code must obtain added layer Actions.)

If you write code manually, select frame 1 on the Layer 1 (shares) and add the code here.

    I hope this helps!

  • Can I create a style 'Back' motion tween in Flash

I'm Flash after many, many years to use after Effects to create an interactive work for a client.

My question is: can you create an ease and whizz style 'Back' animated tween?

    Screen Shot 2015-08-09 at 22.54.02.png

After effects ease and Whizz - legends.

I tried using the query editor (nightmare for control) you can create some nice simple movement, but try to go above or below 100% for the effect of 'growing up' is somewhat difficult. (unless you try to do it on the separate x, y of dimensions and even then it's a nightmare and nearly impossible to achieve)

There's even an easy way to do this in Adobe Edge too, but lets not go there...

    Screen Shot 2015-08-09 at 22.44.52.png

Same EDGE has a way... Cripes!

Search every corner of the web that I found Tim Groleau acceleration function generator JACKPOT I thought, however there is no way obvious to apply these to the flash animations. (I've been away from flash for over 10 years, so potentially there is an easy way to do this...)

    Screen Shot 2015-08-09 at 22.56.19.png

    Any Help is highly appreciated

If you are using a motion tween, you can control the easing in the flash interface without using code.

After that right click on the frame span where you want your motion tween, click on create the motion tween, and then right click tween layer, click on refine tween, and then click Add an ease.

  • scaling of symbols and the motion tweens

I've created an animation with various symbols and motion tweens, especially on an external level timeline.  In the end, I realized that the resolution is too low for a quality quicktime export.  After the scaling of the canvas of 550 x 400 at 1650 x 1200, I tried scaling the rest of the objects using the brackets "edit multiple images", but every scene I try to do that, only some of the executives are put across.  They begin to scale and move in all directions, oscillating between the original and new positions.  So, I have to go back and manually scale/reposition the interpolations.  I'm doing something wrong with the edict several frames thing or something?  Or y at - it an easier way to do this that I've not seen?  Thank you

    1. go in the settings of publication in the file menu. Go to the HTML tab change the film size in Dimensions: section. Change the setting from 'Match Movie' to 'Pixels' and enter the dimensions you want. Publish. If there is no bitmap, then it should look acceptable.

    2. If ABSOLUTELY everything in your movie is in the timeline, then you can select all frames in all layers, then select the images to copy in the Edit menu or right click on the layers menu. Create a new movieClip. Select the first frame on the first layer and then select Paste frames from the Edit menu or the menu right click on this image.

Now, you have a copy of your entire movie into a movieClip. Create a new movie at the new size you want. Copy and paste this new movieClip in library of the new film. Save the new movie. Drag the movieClip on the stage of the new film. Stretch the movieClip to adapt to the new size of the stage. Save again. Play. You should now have a movie that turns to the new size of the image. Depending on how your Actionscript wrote, you may need to make some changes.
