  1. are you able to play the other mpegs successfully?
  2. what version of Windows Media Player do you use?

  I suspect that the file is corrupted.

  Method 1.
  Check if you can play the same video in a different media player.

  Method 2.
  You may need to check if the codecs work very well to play the file. Check if you have installed third party codecs. Uninstall them and re - install and then check.

  Well, the first thing I'd do is listen to the file in waveform (double-click the file and it will take you there) and see if the file itself looks funny.  If it is clean in the waveform, and then make sure that you do not accidentally have some effects activated in the rack of effects for this track.

  Look in the timeline panel. More specifically, the area where names appear on the left side. Now, look down. You should see a small speaker icon. My guess is that you've clicked on it to cut it. Jump to the right and literally SCREAMS she's dumb, right?

  I wonder if someone can help me.

  You still use on CS4, I created a project with three animated menus. The text has been adapted from a template of Adobe and the ' movement "(video and audio) were created in first, registered as an MPEG, imported into Encore as an asset and then alt-dragging to menus. It all works well. I then listen to samples and build the menus with the Preview button and everything plays well, the video and audio (although it would be nice to have some voume control - but that's another story) are great and the structure of the menu (1st menu of reading and two substitutes) play very well. I then create the DVD. First engraved directly on DVD, future tests on as an image and a folder. On each of them there is no audio in menus. Deadlines Quebec menus are very good, the sound works but not on menus.

  In frustration, I created a flash of the same project file, and the audio was great. All here. Then I went and analyzed the DVD folder that I created earlier and DVD Shrink has found the menus and even found found his partner as LPCM2-ch, but alas, even using this program to compile a. ISO nothing improved.

  ......... Also, I don't want them rushing to the remote control to mute strong Menu Audio, only to have to then increase the Volume when the DVD is playing. I like to 'facilitate' the user in things. I find it too commercial DVD where the Audio Volume of Menu is of about + 6 DB above the other Audio and who hates. It gets my attention, but in a very bad position. He is also afraid my Bulldogs!

  Oh, dear me, Yes.

  That I found for the audio menu - if you really must have - is to reduce by half the level of what you think, it of comfortable and set it to loop in 20 or 30 times more - you would be surprised of hiw quickly that it becomes very annoying... and now place you in your clients shoes.

  As says Jeff, please try again with Dolby DIgital or LPCM, LPCM certainly if you are looping through a tight loop.

  MPEG audio is not your friend.

• Transcript text still don't no on-screen after audio was played - CP8

  I'm reaching out for support on a Captivate 8 strange issue where the audio transcript is not yet on display after the audio played. In an ideal world, the user selects the button of the transcript and the text remains until the user manually closed the box.

  This issue of the text seems to be random, as show some slides which basically have the same structure sometimes legends all along, and sometimes they disappear. The normal behavior that we expect would be to stay on the screen.

  

  We have tried many ways to try to resolve the problem:

  1. Breaks moved from buttons/clickboxes after/audio front kick (sometimes it worked)
  2. Reset and deleted the transitions
  3. Removed the audio and added in. Also tried renaming it so that it becomes a new element in the library.
  4. Create a new slide. (sometimes, it worked)
  5. Removed and add captions.
  6. Re-scheduled audio - it delayed a few seconds to start.
  7. Removed all the buttons that stop to the slide.

  We have exhausted all options and hoping that the community could help. In the interest of our confidentiality of the customers with the hardware, I have not posted links to the source files - but I'm happy to share with a guru here private if they wanted to search and help a solution.

  Captivate the default behavior is that the captioning text appears that although there is an audio file that is present on the timeline.  As soon as there is no audio playback, the CC text disappears.

  If you want the CC text to stay longer, you need to extend your audio clip with a very low noise level (not pure silence) so that Captivate still thinks there's an audio playback.

• Record audio without playing

  I already tried many things and have not found anything with google.

  In the first CC, I'm working on a video, where I have to redo a voice. When I activate a track to record my voice it works fine, but it's playing my voice, which is annoying. I've already found, how to reduce the delay, but I want to turn it off completely. What I don't want is to cut my computer, because I have to listen to the sounds and music for the contribution.

  Probably it's an easy fix, but I don't know what to try anymore. I work on Win10, but I think, that first is the cause of the problem. Stereomix and etc are disabled.

  Hi, I am currently learn to animate using Flash CC 2014.

  So, I understand that for import audio in Flash, you create a layer for it, I did successfully.

  But my problem is that I've seen in the past (in flash animation tutorials), if you look at the timeline of the animation, you can hear audio playback from where you were and if you highlight, you can even hear the sound scroll and backward with your mouse.  But when I do, I don't hear anything.

  I can't hear the audio if I play the animation at the beginning, but if I'm going to be animation and synchronization of the lip, he'll grow extremely painful for me to have to play through the entire animation to hear what I have to animate then.

  You target ActionScript or HTML5 Canvas? If AS3, you can select a setting where audio exists and in the property inspector, choose to have the sound 'stream' that synchronizes upward well as you wish. If the target of canvas, you can choose only the types of sounds 'event '.

  I have a slide where there is an image that collapses with an effect toward the Center. At the time of the collapse, I have a short (0.5 s) sound file of a shutter of the camera who plays at the same time.

  Then go to the next slide where there is another image that extends from Central, collapses, and then with the same sound in the next slide and so on and so forth.

  Initially, I created this in CP5 and everything worked fine.

  So, my client decided they wanted something different, so I deleted the sound and did what they wanted.

  I have re-imported the audio file and replaced it in the guides as needed.

  If I play the slide using the space bar the sound plays very well.

  
  If I saw with F4, F8, F10 or F12 I can hear without the camera shutter. But all other sounds in the product work very well.

• Zoom H4n Audio stereo plays only the left speaker - how to double?

  Hi all

  I've worked on several projects and I noticed that the audio captured by the Zoom H4n will preview in both speakers (and before as I slide the mounting I can right-click-> edit-> Audio channels and get options there but also hear it on both speakers) but as soon as I drag him in the timeline it will play only through the left speaker.

  Any ideas where I'm wrong or how I can double the audio? It is all already cut together so I hope that there is a difficulty which is semi time efficient to apply lol. Thanks a lot for your help.

  Since you are already done with the change, your quickest fix is to use the left audio effect fill (Audio Effects > stereo > left fill). Apply it to all the clips that do not play in the two ways; It will duplicate the left channel in the right. The fill right effect would be the opposite.
