  Hello! I'm pretty new to Flash, I consider myself a beginner, but recently I've been commissioned to do an animation for someone! There is a song played in the animation, it is a wav and it is on its own layer. There are also drawings that I imported in too.

  My problem is, I want to be able to synchronize the little drawings for the lyrics of the song, but the sound does not play when I starts at 0 on the timeline. If I had to start we are going to say plot of 24, it will not play. Does anyone know how to fix this? This commission must be completed by Wednesday and it's a process S L O W, duty again only to hear as one or two words later

  Change the property to sync (in the properties panel after you click the keyframe where starts your sound) of the workflow event.  Repeat the test.

  conversion of files... files in .wmv format .mpg
  before you import into Movie Maker may be your solution.

When I export it and save the project as a. MP4 or. WMV file and try to play in Windows Media Player, Quicktime or VLC, as the audio of my theatre project. There is no video.   Audio was working fine, just no photos or video showing once the project has been saved as a movie. So, I tried your solution of creating a short slide show with photos only and no luck. I uninstalled and reinstalled movie maker and still no luck. Downloaded the pack codek for windows 7 and still no luck.

  So, I decided to download the Vista windows movie maker for my OS to windows 7 and everything works like a charm. Don't know how or why, but the version of Vista is flawless on my windows 7.

• Files audio stereo plays only not on mono devices after rendering

  I have a stereo wav track recorded on a h5 zoom which is silent when played on a device that only play mono (most mobile devices). I've noticed that when I made and uploaded the video to YouTube and it plays fine on my PC but when I saw on my phone I got only the background music and audio interviews. I've scoured the web for similar problems, but nothing did. Someone must know how I can fix it. Here is a screenshot:

  

  As you can see, it's certainly a stereo file, but when it is made and posted on YouTube, mobile users have reported and I confirmed that the file is not playing. I've recreated the problem by making the video with mono sound and does not play the file. I must be missing something. Help, please! Thank you!

  OK, so let's say you make a simple animation, like a circle moving from the left side of the screen in the Center with an audio track (or not at all). Hit the RAM Preview, it will make the animation. However, reading, audio is played from the beginning, and then the animation takes about 3 seconds, where the circle has already entered into the composition. Now, if a loop is executed after playing the full preview, then only I will see the circle enter the screen from left to right.

  So, you want to do everything with the action on enter. OK, here go us:

  1. Create the variable user v_entry with a default of 0, which will be used to count whose entry into the slide, it is.
  2. Create an initial decision which is a simulated standard action to increment the counter:
     • IF 1 is equal to 1
       Expression v_counter = v_counter + not need an ELSE part 1
  3. Create a second decision to decide to play an audio clip
     
     • IF v_counter is equal to 1, which is not the case on the first entry
       Play the audio xxxx indicates the audio to play clip
  4. Use the ALLCLICKED decision you had before

• Windows Media Player will only play a sound with no video .avi and .mov

  I started having a problem where the Windows Media Player will only play the audio portion of my .avi and .mov video files.

  These files were created by my FlipCam or my Sony Handycam.

  I never had problems until recently and think that it is due to some kind of Windows Update.

  CoDec = compressor decompressor.
  A program is used to compress the file. You then need to unpack the file to play, you need the codec used to compress the file to decompress it on your pc.
  You need DVD playing software installed to power the mpeg codec, or you can buy a codec to just run in media player.
  AVI is a wrapper and may well contain more than 800 different file types, it has 800 different codecs!  Thus, to read an avi file, you should know what codec was used to do and have that installed on your pc to read.
  DV.avi is made with the dv codec, divx.avi is made with the divx codec.
  Of course, that manufacturers make their codecs, you must make sure you have the latest being, to be able to read files made with it, so everything just because you downloaded the codec divx 12 months ago does not mean it will play files created with codecs of today!

  It surprises me that you say that you have downloaded all the updates of altest, but are still running wmp9, where we are now on WMP11 for XP and 12 for win7.

  I would update my WMP version first.

  It is generally accepted that the codec packs adding is a bad idea, so if you need a codec to read a certain file, google it's manufacturer and just install the one you need.

  I would work just on the pc at the same time when you found what the problem is, you can fix on the other 2.

• HP 15 laptop: DVD does not play smoothly. Help

  I got a new laptop about a month ago. At first, I was able to watch a DVD titled "Australia" and it worked perfectly fine. Now, I have tried (unsuccessfully) to watch the other two films using the preinstalled CyberLink Power Media Player 12 (the same thing that I've used before) and it does not work. What happens is I put in a DVD in my laptop and at first when he travels the sponsors or creators such as BBC, it works fine. But then comes the time for the actual film to begin with, the first audio will play while the video itself is trying to go, and then sound stops and will wait for a good ten minutes in the wait for the video to catch up with the sound. In other words, a person walking at a normal speed from point A to point B in a normal period of 3 min now takes at least 7 min for audio (which runs faster) and the video to actually play.   If there is a problem with the DVD material he would play no video at all so we can exclude. I'll tell you that it is a software problem so you only problems for real part of copyright subject to digital rights management. If you're ready to experiment a little, I might suggest that you try to download the VLC media player free, that will play DVDs and see if it's better.

  I'm still using cs4 (4.0.1.048) on my Win 7 Home Premium (last updated 2010-05-25).

  I created a dvd with still cs4. in preview, everything works fine (all the buttons and video work).

  Now, I want the DVD export.

  1. I tried to export the DVD folder. -> My DVD software (DVD Toshiba drive) does not have the content of the DVD-folder created.

  2. I tried to export as a DVD Image. -> My image-tool (Virtual Clone Drive 5.4.4.0) cannot open the image.

  Other DVDs and images can be played normal.

  I looked again the export parameters. On the disc-info, the size of the export is 5.13 GB.

  After the export as DVD folder and DVD-image created size is a bit smaller.

  The image of the DVD - has only 4.74 GB.

  Maybe my problem is caused by this. The question is how can I solve this problem?

  You will probably have a lot more luck, if you use elementary/primary workflows for your motion Menu, i.e. a single video only and a single Audio file only. For audio only, I would use PCM/WAV or fully compatible DVD AC3 DD and don't use files Multiplex (combined Audio and video streams).

  Multiplex-2 MPEG files are almost always a problem, and I stay away from them.

• Qosmio G20: Feedback speaker + HD DVD will not play

  I usually don't use the internal sound on the laptop it is normally plugged into my hi-fi using optics and a creative labs USB device.

  However, I am experimenting with playing a DVD hd through my TV using the hdmi output connection. The two DVDs, DVD player high definition HD Toshiba tries to play but nothing happens. Anyway back to the right question.

  I thought that, perhaps, the cause is that I had disabled internal sound, so I let him. However, when you start up Windows, I got your feedback loud and terrible (MOM had to leave the room).
