Mountain Lion and HP Photosmart 5570 compatibility?

My neighbor loves his HP printer but will explode to a new iMac. It might be Mountain Lion but the Mavericks is where we're going.

I was totally confused about how to find out if it will work.

Hi mmizen

I searched for the Photosmart 5570 and can not find the drivers for this model.

What is the name and the product number of your printer?

Please provided the serial number.

In short, I'm not able to put my printer as my default printer used because the driver software could not be found!

I got the impression of almost 2.5 years, I was never able to print wireless as he made just it's self, now that I don't have wireless as it is that I expect that print would be at least a tad easier!

    This isn't.

I reinstalled the software for the website of HP C4700 series, I rebooted both laptop computer and printer and yet when I try to add the printer to the printer list, currently there 2, work and my parents have. but mine, the only one connected, the only one I don't have the official software installed at the moment run and do what I need it to do!

When in system preferences I click the Add button and then enter to add using the software he knows exists, but then when it tries to download and install it does not find the software, then offers space! with no further explanation.

What I can do, I have to print RESUMES and my University Master's project! NOW!

Try resetting the printing system and check to see if that can help you:

    * Be aware that reset the printer system will eliminate any existing queue and reset all custom settings driver.

Click on the Apple menu and then click on System Preferences.
    Select Print & Scan.
Right click (or Ctrl + click) your product with the Printers list in the left panel and then click on reset printing system.
Click OK to confirm the reset.
Type your user name and password.
Click OK. The printing system resets.

Now, click on the sign more and try to add the printer again.

If the same repair disk permissions as follows, then install the package from Apple again and try to add the printer again:

    1. open the Applications folder.
    2. go to the Utilities folder.
    3. double-click on disk utility.
4 Select the hard disk that contains the boot volume.
    5. go to the first aid tab and select Repair disk permissions.
Note: This process may take several minutes depending on the Mac and the amount of the permissions that need to be repaired. The journal of the progress will tell you when the process is complete.

    Hope that helps,

Printer not taken in charge under mountainlion.   I know it's a new operating system.   Plans to support, or should I just got back from my printer?

    Hello

    The Mountain Lion-compatible printer.

You need get the software from the HP site as the original version of the disc manufactured prior to Mountain Lion and so not compatible.

You can find the software for your operating system below:

  • I updated my operating system Mac Mountain Lion and my CS2 no longer works. Is there a solution?

I updated my operating system Mac Mountain Lion and my CS2 no longer works. Is there a solution? CS2 works great for my purpose.

Unfortunately it is the control of Adobe on the outside. Recent versions of Mac OS x simply do not contain the necessary components to the system more. Short of signing up for creative cloud / purchase CS6, there is no way to fix it, though, if "CS2 works just fine" for you, PS Elements could suffice just as well these days, given that all of the features is similar to your old version of PS...

  • Impression of failure of communication with Mac Mountain Lion and Photosmart c7280

I have flowed through many messages about the printing and problems of Mountain Lion (10.8.3) faults and cannot get the answer I need.  I use this printer (HP Photosmart c7280) very well with the Lion of mountain for several months now and just recently have had problems printing.  I can scan very well, but printing is another story.  I deleted the printer, re-installed, restarted, unplugged, replugged, reset the printing system, deleted and reinstalled the drivers, ad nauseam!  I don't know what the problem is.  I am connected with a USB cable.  I send a print job, it can get 30 to 67% of the way sent and start printing and then I get this error: failure to communicate: the computer is therefore more able to communicate with your printer. Turn off the printer, check your printer connections and look for errors in the printer and turn on the printer.
Check the printer to find errors.

I just tried to install the new driver and new hpprinterdrivers2.14 and they used to install.

Today, I can't get more than one or two lines to print before it stops.  I don't know what else to try.  Help, please!

    Hello

First make sure that the material can print without problems by printing a test page:

    http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01448018

In addition, have you tried plugging the USB stick on another free port of your Mac?

Be sure to use a USB 2.0 standard, not longer than 2 m long cable.

Make sure it is directly connecting to your Mac and not through a USB extention or a hub port on an Apple keyboard, which is not powered.

So I recommend you try a different USB cable, then check any change.

There will be a download code in emails that you got. Open the Mac App Store, go to its home page, click on Redeem and get the code.

  • Updated to mountain lion and now, I have continual errors in PS!

I have the latest version of photoshop CC. As the update to 10.8.5 Lion PS CC mountain lion does not work correctly. Many of the tools I give 'cannot use the tool due to the program error. " It's useless! I installed the latest version of photoshop CC. It worked fine before. I can't use the pipette, but the clone tool is very good. The painting tools are very good. Several other tools give this error. I do not see why some work and some do not.

I have worked very well in Leo, so there is no reason it shouldn't work in mountain lion. It's so frustrating because it means I can't use the software I paid for. I updated via the adobe Update Manager as the CC Office system does not work

What is causing this error message?

Everything is identical to what existed before imac 2011 - late with loads of memory and a wacom bamboo with an ancient Tablet graphire Tablet driver. No hardware has changed so there must be a software error any. The driver of the Tablet is the most recent works with the Tablet I and who works with the mountain lion. I can't change the version of this.

Reset of all tools seems to have stopped the errors at the moment, thank you. I have no idea how they can get so screwed up however. I have not installed so you need a hiccup of photoshop plugins database.

  • Upgrade to Mac OS Lion and the Photosmart Plus B209a

Mac OS Lion will be compatible with my Photosmart B209a more?  Will all functions - copy, scan - continue to work, or will I have to install new drivers?

terryben - drivers for Lion provided via Apple Software Update.

Copy printing and scanning features are provided, however a limitation that the scan is accessible from the Apple software on your Mac and not from the front of the unit.

You will find below all the features of the software and configuration of the product:

Dianesez - in order to print from iOS, make sure that the printer and the iPad connected to the same network, then you can print using the HP ePrint home & Biz app:

Receive error "Scanner not found" messages for HP scan Pro ' 09 and 'cannot be opened because of a problem' for HP Scan ' 09.  Printer works. When I try to download the driver/software updates all that I gave is Windows oporating system. Help

    Hello

The HP Scan Pro is a very old, destined to Mac OS X v10.5 or older versions of the os.

Don't forget to uninstall any incompatible software by following the uninstall HP under Applications\Hewlett-Pakard program.

Then restart your Mac, enter print & scan and make sure that the printer is listed... If this is not the case, click on the Plus sign and add the printer.

Now, try to scan by using one of the methods below:

If there are issues after completing the steps above, please let me know.

  • When I switch to 10.6.8 mountain lion will I lose iphoto and imovie ms word?

IM in the process of downloading for my MacBook mountain lion and I wonder if I will still be able to use iMovie, iPhoto and Microsoft Word once I installed it.  If it isn't in any way I can keep these?  I have a knowledge of basic computer.  By supporting all the I know is press the time button machine and let it back up on it.  I need simple explanations. If you are installing without erasing the hard drive, you should always have these applications on your computer. Here is the tutorial on Mountain Lion.  http://www.Macworld.com/article/1165407/hands_on_with_apples_new_os_x_mountain_l ion.html

  • OfficeJet 6500 and mountain lion

I installed mountain lion and now my officejet 6500 will not print, or it prints, but after an hour or two after the print job is sent.

I deleted the driver and reassembled using the apple software update, the problem persists. Any ideas out there?

    Ok

Try to update the drivers by clicking on the icon Apple and then software update, restart and check any change.

If there is no change don't try to install the package below:

    http://support.Apple.com/kb/DL907

If the problem persists, make sure that the USB port used is not longer than 2 m long, with direct links to a MAc and not through a hub USB or extension.

In case you have an iMac, make sure to plug the USB at the back of the Mac and not in the keyboard port which is not powered.

    It will be useful,

  • Drag and drop support with the VM mountain lion

    Hi all

I recently got a new macbook pro (with retina display and the 16 GB and of course the SSD - very soft). I created a machine virtual windows 7 for my windows applications and I also wanted a separate VM to develop on with Mountain Lion, so I downloaded the Cougar from the app store and created an image of mountain lion. My only problem is that it doesn't seem to be any support for drag and drop between my host mountain lion and my mountain lion guest VM. If I try to drag and drop with my windows 7 VM, it works well, but not mountain Lion mountain lion.

Does anyone know if there are a few settings that I can turn it on or if it is supposed to work? Furthermore, I am under Fusion 5.0.3 and am on MacOS 10.8.3 (on my host and the guest operating system).

    Thank you

    -Jeff

    Hi Jeff,

Yes it is a limitation having Mac OS X as a guest operating system. There are some other limitations as well as

    • SVGA only.  No chart 2D or 3D accelerated.
    • No unit.
    • No fullscreen multimon support.
    • No USB 3.0 support.

You can make a feature request or via this link: http://www.vmware.com/contact/contactus.html?department=prod_request

    Thank you

  • 10.8.4 and CS5 mountain lion

Hi, I just installed 10.8.4 Mountain Lion and when I now try to open CS5 I get a message that I need a Java SE 6 runtime. I downloaded and installed, 7 JRE think this would be ok, but I still get the same message.  I assumed that this version of Cougar would work with CS5, in view of the other discussion forums on the Cougar and CS 5.  Should I specifically 6 rather than 7?

    Hello

Please download and install Java Runtime from this location. It should solve the problem.
