  In the print menu, check "scale to fit media" under the Position and size of the device and then check out.

  If you want the area selected for printing, check "Print selected area" under the Position and size and specify the size.

• HP LaserJet 1018: For the printing window does not appear

  I see that you have problems printing manual duplex, the window is not to come to continue to print across the page. I will definitely do my best to help you.

• Canon PowerShot S2 IS. The camera window does not work on Windows 7

  On my old computer I installed software for the Canon PowerShot S2 IS and it allowed me to download the photos by using the function "window of the camera."  Let me clarify that I wanted the date taken in the name of the file of the photo.  On my new computer with windows 7 if I can see that the camera is connected when I click on 'My computer', but when I use the camera window to download it says that it cannot detect the camera.

• My default download folder is on my server at work, so when I'm at home the download window does not open and I can't change my settings to download.

  I tried to reset my default download folder, but it just goes back in the download folder on my server to work that I won't be able to connect to the next month. When I try to select a different download folder, does not have the button "Browse".   At one point, I opened FF and the browser window has stopped picking up full-screen. The program actually fills the screen, but the current browser window has some sort of right margin.   Sounds like an easy solution.  Remove the battery on the phone while it is on and leave it aside for 30 seconds... It will take 3-5 minutes for the device to reboot.  That usually works

  The answer depends on what type of element you want to pin.  The only type of element you mentioned being a folder, you can easily do what you're wondering now and does not need to wait for a later version.

  In the 8 Windows desktop, when you drag an executable file (or shortcut) on the taskbar, a message appears that says "PIN to the taskbar.

  If you drag a document file (or a shortcut), the message will say "pine [associated application]"-in other words, "[name of the default browser] pine" for a html, "Pin to Notepad" file to a txt file, etc..

  For a folder, File Explorer is the associated application.  Therefore, if you open a file Explorer window, look for the desired folder and drag it to the taskbar, the message that appears is "PIN to the file Explorer."  Just click on it, and it will appear in the jumplist FE, above the frequent places, in a separate section called "Pinned".  You can drag things and down from there to order at your leisure.

  (The Control Panel, even if it is displayed in FE as 'File system', only let you pin on the desktop, for not not FE jumplist.)  There may be other special cases like this; I don't know, but it works usually as I've described, including for other system folders.)

  Just to be clear, I am a new user of Windows 8, far from being an expert.  I only know how it works because I heard today by trial and error.  So there may be more to what I can't help with.

  When I run a query lets say with 100 lines of output, run the query successfully, but the cursor jumps automatically to the last record in the game as in all previous versions, I have to scroll manually everytime.

  Hello, I just created a suggestion to avoid the problem: it is not easy to see that the dialogue will change when you click on one of the words on the left column. Have the words being locked in a form of arrow could reduce the question.

• Command + tab to open the Finder window does not

  Sorry to post this again - the first accidentally got marked as resolved, but it is not and I still need help.

  I recently installed at El Capitan on my iMac, and now, when I use the command + tab to toggle an application by opening a window of Finder, I get that the Finder menu bar. The open Finder window is located in the window menu, and I choose to see it and use it. Before the upgrade, command-tab would be near the top of the Finder window currently open and active. How do I get it to behave as it did before? I HATE having to select the window menu item! AND when I select the window from the window menu, the bar menu auto mask, that I also hate. Automatic masking occurs only in the Finder, and he is not selected in the settings of my Apple.

  I think you have Finder mode full-screen. I do not use full screen at all, so I'm not really familiar with it, but what seems to work for me was to switch to Finder and select the window from the window menu, and then press ESC to exit full-screen.

• Window from the source to the project window does not

  A few days ago I had a problem working with a huge clip and try to change down in the source window.  After I did I started to put my points of entry and clips of 10 minutes for each scene I wanted, but when I went to drag this clip on in the project window, it wouldn't show.  Normally it should appear as a copy of my original CD video and then I would rename the copy with my scene number, but now I see no copy when I try to transfer in the project window.

  Any ideas about why this is happening?

  I am able to do for subitems here in the comfort of my office.

  Do you see the hand when you take the clip?

  Have you tried the Clip > menu of a subitem to command?
