Move the layer, but keep the layer in the Web?

Can someone help me?

I'm not exactly sure how to describe my question correctly. But what I want is that when I move a layer selected example to the left I want parts that normally goes outside the canvas to appear to the right.

You want to wrap around to select the layer, and then use the menu Filter > other > offset in its dialog box enable wrap around using the sliders or type a pixel count more or less number for vertical and horizontal offsets. Works even on Basemap layers. Layer must be a raster layer, if there is a layer mask, I think more often than you would like it linked layers also content or you can use the offset on the mask or the content.

  • Download a book (from the book module) on the web module

    Hello!

    I just finished my first wedding album in the module of Lightroom 4 book (yay!), now I would like to be able to download the book via the web module so that my clients can approve, but when I move the web module, it seems only to download individual images - not page layouts.

    Is there a work around?

    Thank you!

    Ellen

    In Acrobat Pro, look at the file > properties > initial view. Like many things, it depends on your needs and preferences, but I feel a more similar books experience works best upon approval of a layout of book, and with some customers, it is preferable to locking down, just in case things. You can still export the JPEG images later.

  • Move the layer but keep anchor still

    Hi, I know that I can use the Pan behind tool to move a layer anchor point. Now for adjustment purposes that I need to move the layer, but keep the anchor point where it is... otherwise it changes the path of the animation. Is this possible?

    Kind regards

    Frank

    I guess you have your animation path and you want to change the position of the layer to this track. If you simply position keyframes adjust anchor point values in the timeline panel. You can click and drag on the values, so that you can see the movement of the layer from the path.

    If you have animated a layer by setting keyframes in the anchor point so that you can change the relative position of the layer by rubbing through the position values in the timeline panel.

    If you have animated the two position and anchor, then you can open the layer in the layer panel, reveal the path of the anchor, select all the keyframes of an anchor in the scenario, click and drag on any keyframes the anchor to drag all this without creating a new keyframe. You can see and move keyframes from the plug-in position which has properties of position in the layer window and do the same thing.

    You can use the same select all the keyframes in the technical timeline to recover and move a path any position in the composition window.

    If this doesn't give you a solution I don't understand your problem.

  • Move a layer from one document to another, I get the error message that the layer is empty

    When I copy a layer from one document to another in PS CC 2015.5 and then try to move the layer in the destination document, I get the error message that the layer is empty.  It is not empty and I checked several times and checked that the layer is not empty.  I have never had this problem before and wonder if something has changed in CC 2015.5.

    Thanks to all who responded.  I think the problem was that I was using the NEF files and that he had not yet renamed PSD files.  Copy the layer in the destination document, but when I tried to move the layer in the destination document, I received the error message.  Apparently, he was copying the layer but there not then recognize the NEF format.  Once I saved both documents to the PSD, then the program behaved normally.  I appreciate your all of the help.

  • Move the layer up

    Can someone help with the following.

    I want to be able to count the total number of layers in the document, and move the active layer to the top of the stack.

    Using this code by Davide is ok, but it assumes you want to move the layer to position 2

    function s2t(s) { return app.stringIDToTypeID(s); };

    var d1 = new ActionDescriptor();
    var r1 = new ActionReference();
    var r2 = new ActionReference();

    r1.putEnumerated( s2t('layer'), s2t('ordinal'), s2t('targetEnum') );
    d1.putReference( s2t('target'), r1 );
    r2.putIndex( s2t('layer'), 2 );
    d1.putReference( s2t('to'), r2 );
    d1.putBoolean( s2t('adjustment'), false );
    d1.putInteger( s2t('version'), 5 );
    executeAction( s2t('move'), d1, DialogModes.NO );

    Rather something like this:

    activeDocument.activeLayer.move( activeDocument, ElementPlacement.PLACEATBEGINNING );

  • Move the layer setting to another file

    In Photoshop, is there a way to move a layer of setting to another file WITHOUT having to extract the files to the workspace on the side and drag and drop the layer?

  • Documentation of the painting process: stamp Visible, move to layer together and hide

    I love to capture my screen painting and when I'm actually I make a GIF animated these shots '' process. '' I am trying to automate the process and I managed to find that meets my needs:

    #target photoshop

    app.bringToFront ();

    Stamp the visible layers

    var idMrgV = charIDToTypeID ("MrgV");

    var desc2 = new ActionDescriptor();

    var idDplc = charIDToTypeID ("Dplc");

    desc2.putBoolean (idDplc, true);

    executeAction (idMrgV, desc2, DialogModes.NO);

    Move the active layer for the background of LayerSet 'process '.

    var activeLayer = activeDocument.activeLayer;

    processFolder var = activeDocument.layerSets.getByName ("process")

    activeDocument.activeLayer.moveToEnd (processFolder);

    Now I would like to add a condition to check, whether or not the 'process' layer-set exists, and if not, create it. It should look like this:

    Process Image capture

    V 0.3

    Stamps PEAK Visible (creates a new layer that combines all information visible in the flattened form) and who moves to a 'process' Layer Set.

    Layer is then hidden.

    If the defined layer is not there, it will be created.

    #target photoshop

    app.bringToFront ();

    Check the 'process' layer-Set on the root. Create, where it is not present.

    If (! activeDocument.layerSets.getByName ('process')) {}

    activeDocument.LayerSets.add ();

    activeDocument.LayerSets.name = "process";

    }

    //

    / * {else}

    }*/

    Stamp the visible layers

    var idMrgV = charIDToTypeID ("MrgV");

    var desc2 = new ActionDescriptor();

    var idDplc = charIDToTypeID ("Dplc");

    desc2.putBoolean (idDplc, true);

    executeAction (idMrgV, desc2, DialogModes.NO);

    Move the active layer for the background of LayerSet 'process '.

    var activeLayer = activeDocument.activeLayer;

    processFolder var = activeDocument.layerSets.getByName ("process")

    activeDocument.activeLayer.moveToEnd (processFolder);

    activeDocument.activeLayer.visibility = false;

    The condition seems to be causing the problem, but I have no idea how to solve this problem. If anyone can help?

    OK, here's the script that performs the Act, it requires an additional function to catch what getByName() returns.

    Process Image capture

    V 1.0

    Stamps PEAK Visible (creates a new layer that combines all information visible in the flattened form) and who moves to a 'process' Layer Set.

    Layer is then hidden.

    If the defined layer is not there, it will be created.

    #target photoshop

    app.bringToFront ();

    Check the 'process' layer-Set on the root. Create, where it is not present.

    If (! hasRootLayer ('process')) {}

    var addedLayer = activeDocument.layerSets.add ();

    addedLayer.name = "process";

    }

    Stamp the visible layers

    var idMrgV = charIDToTypeID ("MrgV");

    var desc2 = new ActionDescriptor();

    var idDplc = charIDToTypeID ("Dplc");

    desc2.putBoolean (idDplc, true);

    executeAction (idMrgV, desc2, DialogModes.NO);

    Move the active layer for the background of LayerSet 'process '.

    var activeLayer = activeDocument.activeLayer;

    processFolder var = activeDocument.layerSets.getByName ("process")

    activeDocument.activeLayer.moveToEnd (processFolder);

    activeDocument.activeLayer.visibility = false;

    Function to check if the 'process' layer exists, passes result returned as a Boolean value

    function hasRootLayer (layerName) {}

    var hasProcessLayer = false;

    try {}

    hasProcessLayer = (typeof activeDocument.layerSets.getByName (layerName)! = "undefined");

    } catch (e) {}

    Return hasProcessLayer;

    }

    Thanks for the tip of the expression.

    If the mask is exactly the same size and shape as the shape layer, then you should get the same results.

  • How to move the canvas layer unless it endangered endangered

    I create a collage of photos on a single canvas.  Each image is its own psd file.  I created a new file with a white background.  Then I "place" each file photoshop on the Web.  Each 'placed' file is its own layer.  However, I want to do is drag the layer to the canvas.  When I drag the layer, the layer disappears beyond the borders of the canvas.  I want that the layer will not disappear, but are instead of the Web until I'm ready to place it on the canvas.  This is similar to when you work on a puzzle and all the pieces of the puzzle are outside the borders of puzzle.  Then when you place a piece, place you it inside the borders.  How can I do this?

    Why not work with a lot more great Web and harvest when you need to produce the final output?  You could even create a layer that puts a nice little traced the border around your prospective Web, that might help you work.

    Trying to keep the data outside the visible drawing area is perilous.  Some operations affect only the visible data and others may result in loss of all data outside the edges of the canvas.

  • Move the selected layer shortcut object

    Hello world

    I would like to be able to invoke a script that would simply move the object selected (block of text or image) to another layer without having to open the layers panel, select the point and drag to another layer I. I find it tedious and awkward especially on repetition.

    I previously asked the people here how I could run a script that searched objects with an assigned attribute and retrospectively to move them all to a single layer. But I prefer to be able to hit a command with the selected object, which pushed the object on a specific layer.

    For me, this really should be a built-in shortcut, such as control-alt-down top /. As far as I can tell this is not assigned to anything else and would be really helpful!

    Can someone suggest a solution to do this, script or other?

    Thank you very much!

    Lewis

    How about this dynamic Duo?

    //DESCRIPTION: One Layer Down
    for (s=0; s

    //DESCRIPTION: One Layer Up
    for (s=0; s 0)
      app.selection[s].itemLayer = app.activeDocument.layers.previousItem(app.selection[s].itemLayer);
    }

    It works, even with a multiple selection on different layers.

    Be warned that, without the Panel layer open, you don't maybe not up-to-date on your active layer current! It changes because a selection is moved from one layer to another.

    Whenever I use the movement or move the tool, Photoshop will move the layer to the top of the artboard. Why would he do that? If I wanted to move the layer to the top, I would have. I'm just trying to move the layer.

    How can I avoid that Photoshop do this?

    Nevermind, I solved this problem. The problem is that when I did drag a layer to the bottom of the stack of layers, Photoshop it moved outside of the artboard. When you move it, Photoshop he retreated inside the artboard, in the upper part.
