  I m a problem with the script UI. I tried different things to fix but I m not able to get success.

  The script code is correct. The problem is: when I run the script and click on the button "run"... Photoshop would need execute the function to "Transform", it is called and would allow me to freely transform the selected layer.

  You can't have multiple modal dialog boxes running at once. ScriptUI dialog box is modal and therefore your transformation function. What you can do for this example is move the transformation according to the dlg.show (); line.

  Photoshop has a "palette" window, but because it is modeless is really only useful to the progressbars or other messages "Please wait". For the example you posted if it were a script palette would not stop at dlg.show () and wait for the user to do something. He would try to run the following line and, not finding any, stops. At best you would only see the flash window before the script completed.

  Hi all

  I find that selecting and moving layers in Photoshop are MUCH more difficult to 2015.1 CC PS as in earlier versions of Photoshop (using the shortcut COMMAND to temporarily toggle the tool move).

  In earlier versions of Photoshop, if I had several layers and one of the layers selected in an image by hitting the keyboard shortcut CTRL-COMMAND (that I had my mouse over the image), and then selecting the name of the layer that I wanted to work with / move, I could then easily hit the "COMMAND" key (which is a shortcut for the tool MOVE) if I happened to have another selected both tool and this would automatically switch to the MOVE tool until what I released the button COMMAND key. Then I could move the layer as needed.

  Well, in the current version of the PS CC 2015.1 this shortcut (using the COMMAND to convert temporarily the MOVE tool) does not work very well the Group WHOLE layers (if I have layers within a group) is selected instead of just the layer I had chosen.

  ONLY if I actually choose the MOVE tool in the toolbar it works correctly and I am able to move the selected layer.

  Oh my God, it was so much harder to explain that I thought it would be! I hope this makes sense.

  It is a known problem with the latest update.

  For now, the workaround is to select the move tool and uncheck "Selection automatic Layers ' and then hit cmd as a shortcut for the move tool.

• Hand tool moves the entire screen instead of the view

  I use photoshop for a long time and I started to use after effects last month and 'I KNOW' how hand tool works, but recently I tried to mess with some settings of sequels and after that whenever I try to use the hand tool to change my point of view (for example after I Zoom) it moves all over the screen in the composition tab. To help you better understand what I'm saying, think of photoshop. When you are zoomed out in photoshop, hand tool does not work. because you're already all see. but now in sequels even when I zoomed out I can move the screen tab composition and it is not locked and it is very annoying. And I'm not talking about move tabs. I know how it works. My composition label is locked in place, but the screen/screens in this tab moves with hand tool.

  AE hand tool and hand of the Ps tool are not exactly the same.

  PS the editing table (grey area outside the canvas) is irrelevant, because you would normally place of items outside the canvas - it is probably why you are locked in the content inside your canvas, when you are zoomed out.

  In Ae the editing table can be very relevant because the image is more than a window through which you see your trained together and animated elements. steal things from the outside, you can have cameras and outside lights and often end up making one Setup and use with the grey mount table more then the dimensions small composition.   the image can move from time to time, but you can use the shortcuts to place it in the frame. Shift + / is my favorite.

  With the tool move selected, you could uncheck Show transform controls in the options toolbar.

  Another way to move the contents of the selection is rather than from the selection of the tool tool move you could press the Ctrl (windows) or command (mac) and move the contents of the selection and should not show the bounding box.

  It is not a. You will have need of a control or a MIDI controller surface cc #7 out on a button or fader... Keyboard shortcuts can not send continuos output of the controller.

  The only way next to what has been offered, is if you put the taskbar on the left side of your screen instead of the lower part.

  Right-click on the taskbar and select Properties, the options are there.

  Can someone tell me if it is possible to move the point of origin when you use the scale tool? By default, when I change by dragging an anchor of the corner, the opposite corner is used as the origin. Ideally, I would like to to scale using an origin that is biased, I can specify sort. I know that you can do during the rotation, but I was not able to determine if this goal is achievable during the measurement. I use Illustrator CC 2015.3.1 and Mac.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  Click where you want the origin to be. Or move the reticle. Exactly the same as with the rotation tool.

  Is there a keyboard equivalent for the displacement of the layers upwards or downwards in Illustrator, rather than drag? We receive some exported from ArcMap .ai files that can contain dozens and dozens of layers, and there are times when it would be so much easier to select the layer and press keys to move the layer upwards or downwards in the stacking order. Photoshop has this feature, but I can't find it in Illustrator.

  Thanks, Mike... that's all I could find, also, but hoped it was some little-known keyboard shortcut that was available.  I appreciate your response and will convey to our people. Perhaps the Illustrator team would plan to implement this on the road. I'll mark this "correct".

• Move the tool and the hand tool works not so I can't move my images.

  I have the latest version of photoshop, and I can't move my images with the tool move or the hand tool. Make sure the level that I want to spend the move tool does nothing and it rises, as if I'm trying to select part of the image that is similar to the use of the Selection tool (as shown in the picture attatched) but then nothing happens. The only way I'm able to move my image now is if I use the transform tool and it's really frustrating and time consuming way to do. I restarted photoshop, my computer laptop, insured without other applications/software are running and still nothing works. I have also tried resetting tools built-in, but to no avail. Any suggestions on how I could fix that would be great!

  

  Hi Serenah: This isn't the tool move, this is the path Selection tool. 2015 CC took a major interface update! The move tool is now arrow 4 sides and just to keep things interesting, tool display changes with the workspace. To reset the tools, choose window > Workspace > Essentials reset.   Try this.go in the menus. Select cc illustrator > preferences > display selection & anchor > then make sure the box "activate the rubber band for" the pen tool is not selected. Then press OK. It should work.
