Move tracks up and down...?

So easy to do in PS AE etc, but a real mystery in PP...

And is it possible to insert a track?

See you soon!

But this is ridiculous. Moving tracks or layers is a common practice in a lot of other software.

I guess you're talking about software like After Effects and Photoshop, which contain the "layers" and not "traces" of the way as Premiere Pro, and any other editor for that matter, let them. Maybe it's a semantic difference, but it is an important: software Adobe, a 'sex' contains an and a single piece of film or graphic element, while the 'track' can contain one or more elements of film or graphic elements. In After Effects, you NEED to separate the elements of film time (x-axis) and order (y axis) - it is simply its operation of overlay. However, with the first, you only have to separate the elements of film in time (axis x) - If you can do anything on a track, so be it.

If you were able to drag the top titles and down in the stacking order (y axis), you may be able to get the effect of layering you want at some point in time in your sequence, but you would also change the stacking order for the duration of the sequence. Maybe it's what you want, or what you don't want, but I would say that most people should never this kind of functionality. How many times should completely reorganize a whole sequence stacking order? I know that I never need it; It's only small portions of time where I need to rearrange items on the axis y. I just think that this ability would be so rarely necessary as there is no point adding it could potentially cause more harm than good.

I am currently working on something that has five small windows with different clips with many changes running with their own effects (at its peak). Sometimes I wanted to fire a track (to put it above the other) so just draggng a track to the top would have been a quick way to do it.

You might consider nesting each channel (or a segment of track) in its own sequence, so at least you drag only a top and bottom, instead of several small clips. Just add an empty track as a landing area temporary, you can move a single nest in and then continue to shift until you obtain the desired order. I know that's not what you really want, but it's the best solution, I think.

How disappointing - and a shame the project is too long for AE!

What is too long for AE? After effects has something like a limit of 3 or 4 hours to a model, which I imagine would be quite difficult for many people to go beyond. It would be a bit of a pain to manage, I guess, but you could do it.

Alternatively, if you have more and therefore dynamic links, simply select clips in the section of the timeline that you try to work with and select replace with After Effects Composition. The piece of the timeline will be sent to the AE and clips will be stacked as the individual layers in the same order that they are in the sequence of the organism. From there, you can organize and reorganize things to your heart's content, and that will be reflected in the sequence of your organization. You might want to create sequences nested in the body first, because those who will be recreated in your AE comp as nested precomps. Can make a little more friendly layer management.

I use ASUS computer laptop and windows 7. When I opened my e-mail, the whole e-mail message table continues to move vertically for about 5 seconds and would then become immobile. • Lately Firefox is no longer recognizing macros Macro Express and upper and down arrows do more work as it should.

Macro Express works in all other browsers (and programs), but is no longer working in Firefox.

The arrow pointing upwards and down arrow works in all other browsers, but in Firefox, instead of moving her down (or up) a line at a time, the page will move much, much down (or climb). The Page Up and Page Down buttons work only part of the time... If an arrow down (or up arrow) has been used, the arrows Page move the page but not one page upwards or downwards... lots of pages pointing upwards or downwards.

If I need to revert to a previous version of Firefox, I'll do that. Please tell me how to work the way they need to work things out.

Work again in Thunderbird too. I did nothing to fix it on my machine. It was weird.

  • Move all backups and iTunes library to external storage

    Hi all

My MBP internal SSD is full so I want to move all the data from iTunes to external storage.

I found how to move the library which was pretty easy.

How can I move my backup files to iPad and iPhone? It seems to be more difficult to achieve.

    Thanks in advance

    JJ

    Not difficult, read here:

Manage and backup your iTunes media library - Apple Support

    Two things to remember:

the first time you open iTunes after move your library: hold down the ALT (option) and iTunes point to where you put the library on the external drive. iTunes will remember that.

When you want to use iTunes to make sure that this disk is attached.

    Thanks for your answers...

    Hello

On this path, it is not easy to tell what the problem may be, but I guess that there is some malfunction of the equipment. Believe me, just intensive investigation may give you more answers.

The only thing you can do is to reinstall the unit with recovery media and check if it works again. If Yes, what is certainly a hardware problem.

  • Window front jumping up and down (LabView 2010 SP 1)

I have a bug problem with dynamically opening and running a VI.

The VI below is compiled into a DLL:

With that, I opened a secondary VI to display the results. That VI is called multiple times in a loop. It works fine, but I was annoyed by the flashing of the menu bar and the toolbar. That's why I added the 'FP. ShowMenuBar' and 'to. Visible' to hide those. This causes the Panel window before jumping up and down on my screen. Is this a known bug (I presume it is) and is there a work around?

One other minor annoyance is that open the front panel, close it and then open it again cause the façade to be open in the background, and I have to manually move it to the foreground. I thought it might be remedied by adding "FP. IsFrontmost', but it does nothing.

OK, I did the VI reentrant and added the option "prepared for reentrant run" in the box "open VI Reference. This is the VI opened as a clone and stop the blinking of the menu and toolbar.

As a bonus, the CPU dropped load. (But I do not see why).

The façade positioning mind again, but did not understand.

  • How can I get my Windows xp computer to stop moving in waves up and down the screen?

Today I had to uninstall Windows XP Home Edition and resinstall it.  I also installed SP 2 and SP 3.  I'm slowly getting updates from Microsoft Update, but now I have problems with my computer when I'm online and up and down the screen.  Only, it moves slowly and in the waves.  What can I do?

Do you mean that you have chosen to uninstall Windows XP and reinstall?

What was the problem that forced you to do?

Anywho, if you reinstalled XP did you get the latest video drivers for your system on site WWW of manufacturer video system?   What audio drivers?  Your sound is OK works?

Video drivers that might be on a XP CD installation will probably not be the ones you need and it is never a good choice to use the updates of hardware which are available from the Microsoft updates - driver Microsoft made generally bad choice in this area.

If you are not sure what you have or what video drivers you need, maybe we can help you find them if we only know basic information about your system (another shortcoming of Microsoft MS Answers).

If you do this, we have more on your system:

Click Start, run and enter in the box:

    Msinfo32

Click OK, and when the system info summary appears, click on edit, select all (Ctrl-A), copy (Ctrl-C) and paste (Ctrl-V) the information back here in your next reply.

For information about video drivers, expand components, click view, click on edit, select all, copy and then paste the information here.

For information about the audio drivers, expand components, click Sound Device, click on edit, select all, copy and then paste the information here.

There will be some personal information (such as the user name and the name of the system), and anything that turns information private for you, simply delete the pasted information.

This will minimize back Q & A and eliminate guesswork.

  • Cannot move or drag-and - drop files/folders on desktop

The other day I noticed that I could not move or drag-and - drop folders or files on my desk.  Even with photos, etc.  When I try to move them into the office, following shadow file the mouse as usual, but when I left to go to the let down, I get a small black circle with a line through it.  This indicates that the procedure is not allowed.  Do not hesitate to offer easy solutions/advice, that I may have missed it, but trust me, I googled several tips on what to do with no luck!  I even did a backup of the registry to try a 'dragdropfix.reg' that I found, but this info was from 2004.  When I tried, I got the message: "cannot import c:\Documents and Settings, etc., etc\dragdropfix.reg the specified file is not a registry script.  You can only import binary registry files in the registry editor. (whatever that means)

I found I can add new folders, files and images for the office and can delete them.  I can't, however, drag-and - drop into another folder on the desktop. I can't also drag them into the trash to delete, but I can right-click and then delete them.

I tried the simpler options to right click on the desktop to make the various advice offered by doing this, but the chance either.  Please offer advice, even if you think I can have already tried.  You never know.

I am running Windows XP Home Edition with IE 8.  If you need other info, please let me know and how to find it. I'd be happy.  It drives me crazy and I'm confident and hoping you ladies and gentlemen can offer advice on how to solve this problem!

    Thank you
