Movie Maker - how to restore a lost file?
Apparently if you put a Toshiba laptop to sleep while running Movie Maker, it crashes. As a result, I lost the file where I worked on all day - for a project that is tomorrow. I saved the file several times while I've been working on this, but since the accident, the file back to a much earlier saved version (which is of no help). Movie Maker does auto-sauvegardes? Is it possible to get it back? Can anyone help?

Windows Movie Maker-how can I change the file format?
It's my first time using Movie Maker, and I edited a song from my iTunes library. I want to save it in mp3 format, but when I saved it, it wouldn't let me choose the file format. I went to the post, and he published automatically as a video. I just want the audio.
How can I save it in mp3 format?
Also, how can I open with iTunes? I managed to do save as just audio and click Open with > iTunes. But he comes to open iTunes. The song won't play.
Transfer your music to the music and its Forum question.
http://social.answers.Microsoft.com/forums/en-us/vistamedia/threadsPS Movie Maker is not for the recording of the songs, conversion of songs, etc. It is open with application.
For files of music itumes, here are the choices...
1. you need Quicktime or Real player to open and play.
2. you can google for a free audio converter and convert your itumes songs in wma, mp3 or wav formats. Then, you can use Windows Media Player (NOT movie Maker) to play the songs.
3. install a free media player called VLC. He plays almost all formats.

If you open the document in Word and copy/paste the content in a
image editor... Windows Paint (for example)... you can save it as an image
format. .jpg or .bmp would be good choices. Then you can import the
photo in Movie Maker. If the document is large and complex you probably can not read in the

make a slideshow in movie maker, how to extend the time image (time peak is seen) a single image that is different from the default time?
I posted the Live Movie Maker tutorial because
your question is posted in a forum for Windows 7.In Vista Movie Maker 6... There are three ways
to change the duration of a specific picture that
is already on the timeline.FWIW... the change of setting to: Tools / Options /.
Advanced... tab applies only to the added clips
to the timeline * after * you change the setting.(1) you can increase or decrease the duration
a specific image by adding an effect:'Speed Up, Double' cuts the duration of half.
"Slow Down, half ' double life.
These effects can be added up to six times.
(2) for the timeline... you can change the
duration for each clip manually. Move your

OP: Window Movie Maker will not import an mp3 file. Why?
I tried to imort a song from my music file which is in mp3 format, but the program won't. She won't tell me why, it just says: "C: {file location} .mp3 cannot be imported." I imported 2 other songs that are the same exact format. Why is it cant import the file?
Hello spardigus,
1 - is the full error you get when you try to import the file?
Some of the Mp3 files can be compressed in various formats. I suggest that you search information below and check out them if you are able to import the files.
It might be possible that the file may be corrupted and is not readable by Movie Maker. I suggest that you copy the file to a different location on your computer and you are trying to import.
Also check the size of the file. If it shows 0 bytes, there are good chances that the file may be damaged.
I suggest that you try to convert this file to avi format using an Audio Converter. There are several converters which helps you convert the file in the required format. Convert the file and try to import.
You can use your favorite search engine to find the program that will help convert the files.

does anyone know how to restore a single file (my windows 8 buy, reception with my product codes) backup any help would be appreciated
LC
If you do not have access to windows and you used the built in backup, you will have a problem. There is a way pretty cludgy to get home if you know where it is. You can download Acronis true image home and convert the backup Windows a one acronis > find the file > convert a windows backup. Not pretty but doable

How to restore backed up files (not the lightroom catalog) from one external drive to another.
I've recently saved my photo files to one external drive to another. The backup (carbon copy clone) pointed out some files corrupt on the original drive.
I deleted these files and find good copies of Time Machine backups.
I want to get rid of the original external drive; use the recent backup as my main outside and then save it to a new disc.
I'm not sure how everything is point lightroom for backups so he knows look on the new drive instead of the old drive and all points of exclamation and question marks go away.
There are close to 60 000 images in several files with a 'parent folder."
My best guess is Lightroom Help - create and manage folders - locate missing files
Can I point to the folder of one of their parents, and all of the subfolders will return?
This is the process for recovering files in lightroom and there will be a problem with so many photos?

Open the program and choose an output folder...
(this is where you will find your files when they are
converted)Drag and drop your clips video .mp4 on the
main screen...Select "all to WMV" / OK...
Click on... Beginning... in the toolbar...
That should do it...
