• Shortcut keys to move applications between monitors?

  I need a better way to move applications between monitors in Windows 7 - if all goes well, there are a few obscure hotkey for it.   Even something that leaves me with the button straight on the taskbar icon and say to poster would do the job.

  Currently, the only way I can do that wastes an incredible amount of time:

  1.) toggle the maximized unmaximized soft.

  2.) drag it to the desired monitor

  3.) expand the app again.

  This process is bad enough most of the time... but sometimes I see only one of the monitors.   My second monitor is my TV and I could, for example, have a football match played on it when I open an application - and sometimes opens on the TV instead of my main screen.   When this happen the process of moving from the app to my main screen becomes much longer:

  0.) turn on/off TV so that it displays input from the PC instead of the game of football.

  4.) TV to switch to the football game.

  When I have to go through this process in 5 steps, it takes 102 seconds (Yes, I've timed it) where it should be a simple matter of using a keyboard shortcut or simply right click on the taskbar icon and say things to move it to the other monitor.

  One would think would improve with each generation of Windows multi-monitor support, but I think it has reached a peak with Windows 2000 and my old Matrox cards and has been downhill since then.   And nothing of what Microsoft has done compared to multi-monitor support, I loved it in OS/2 3 and 4.

  (1) do not switch unmaximized until you can drag. You can do it simply, even if it's already maximized.  Try it.  It works on Windows 7 +.

  (2) you can also use a keyboard shortcut, such as +arrow to line up on the side, or +SHIFT + arrow to send to the next screen.

  I could go on.  Everything what you asked above already exists, you did not.

  If you want to copy (not move) a layer to another file, click and drag the layer in the layers Panel on the other image.

  'Move' means remove the layer from the source file.

  When I double click on my iPad Pro, I saw a grey bar at the bottom which had Safari - of "of Howard Brazee computer.   When I opened it, Safari came with a web page, that I looked earlier today on Chrome.    I went to my Mac and saw that a Chrome icon left of the Doc, in the image of an iPad on it.  My cursor on it, I see that it says "Google Chrome - for iPad".

  I closed the app on my iPad Pro and started Safari on my Mac.  Then I repeated the double click and selected the iPad Pro.   It opened Safari with the previous tab and with this tab here (I'm in Chrome).    I tried to open some other applications forward on my Mac.   If it comes to mail, my iPad is going to open a mail but not find anything (I don't get mail on my iDevices).   I tried Photos and TextEdit and iBooks, but they did not speak with each other (and Safari appear on my iPad gray bar until I moved the focus to Chrome).   So I googled to find out how it works without success.   Is there a tutorial somewhere that explains what is happening here?

  I have a long list of Documents folders in the Finder.   So, every time I try to drag files from downloads of Documents, I would have a long distance to travel with my fingers until I come in my target folder, say, the Z folder at the bottom of the list of Documents.  But there is not enough space on my pad to keep dragging files with my finger all way to the Z folder.  So, I end up having to move the document to a folder to halfway (middle distance), and then drag again from there to the file target Z I want.  For this reason, I need cut & paste to move files between folders.

  You know a simpler way to move files between folders?

  Hi, I had been using windows 8 for over a month and that you have installed a * a lot of apps on the store. Now, I have to create a separate account from microsoft on the same PC. After having created, I find no way to use apps from windows of the older account store. And, certainly, I don't want to re-download applications for use on the new account. • LR5 not moving images between volumes

  This morning it worked always, tonight I can't move images between volumes more in lightroom. A dialog informs me that the images can be copied or moved to the selected destination.

  After ingestion of my head cam H264 hardware, I often need to sort and move the "rushes" in the appropriate bins.

  Thank you for digging in the prelude and highlighting the problem.

  I checked and confirmed the problem. Prelude takes a little longer than usual when working with large projects and bin moving files.

  I forwarded the question my team and we will certainly look into it.

  Currently, prelude does not support search them through multiple projects. It only works with the project opened/created after the launch.

• Exchange 2010 - moving mailboxes between servers and DBs - that will reduce the size of the DB?

  We run very tight in the space for the volume that hosts one of our Exchange database. We have mailboxes on the disabled since this database to another DB hosting disabled accounts that resides on a different server.

  That being said, move the disabled mailbox leave the database sitting on with limited storage volume would decrease the size of DB? Otherwise what will take to achieve this properly and be able to get the storage once the mailboxes are moved to a different DB?

  I followed the instructions to move my Documents to another hard drive. The source was an internal SSD flash drive, the other disc was a typical internal hard drive. I use Windows 7 Professional.

  I do not give the new location a file but simply transferred on the disc, which had other files it contains.

  Verizon restricted access to assisted GPS (you must have their secret EDP data to connect to their servers GPS network-assist). There is an article on the subject in the BlackBerry knowledge base.

  On the permissions of the app, the best advice is to use the ApplicationManager API to check if request you permissions and react accordingly.

• Moving projects between computers

  PP CC 2015.

  I have three computers running it (multiple licenses). Two are in the office and we're at home.

  I keep the OS/apps on a single disk (SSD) and PP projects and active on another disc (also a SSD). The PP project file is in its own folder "project xxx. In this folder is also an active folder, which has everything for the given project, including clips, images, etc. I leave the PP to the value by default when you create a new project, which places all the files from scratch in the same location as the project - putting an automatic check in the folder 'Project xxx' file, too. I have a separate folder on the SSD projects where PP projects are where I run preference > database and media Cache files. The structures of path are the same on all the computers of three of the drive letter down.

  So, it looks like this:

  C: OS/apps

  E:

  -Data > PP projects > file xxx project

  -Project xxx file

  -Assets folder

  -Auto-Save folder

  -PP media cache files and database file

  I want to be able to move a project from one computer to the other.

  That should be simple enough in theory - just copy the folder 'Project xxx' and it takes the project file and assets with her, that copy on the computer target and, assuming that the project has been moved back, replace (or, rather, first remove) all that was target of an earlier version of the project in the same folder on the computer.   ROWNUM is dependent on execution (except BY the ORDER IS USED) plan, so your query might return a different set of lines the next time run you it even if the data has not changed:

  Don't do it this way, add two servers in EA, and then copy the application overall through the Regional service.
  You must also export the data from the source dbs and then import the data into the target dbs.

• Moving data between address book records

  Virtually all of my entries in the address book are in "collected addresses". I created 'Family' and 'Politicians' folders to organize them. Is it possible to move the entries in a folder to another in addition to manually copy the data, and then deleting the entry from the "source"? I was hoping 'drag and drop' might work, but sorry, no bananas today.

  I don't know what kind of Windows you use that drag-and - déposer works with right click. It is always the left click.
