• Shortcut keys to move applications between monitors?

  I need a better way to move applications between monitors in Windows 7 - if all goes well, there are a few obscure hotkey for it.   Even something that leaves me with the button straight on the taskbar icon and say to poster would do the job.

  Currently, the only way I can do that wastes an incredible amount of time:

  1.) toggle the maximized unmaximized soft.

  2.) drag it to the desired monitor

  3.) expand the app again.

  This process is bad enough most of the time... but sometimes I see only one of the monitors.   My second monitor is my TV and I could, for example, have a football match played on it when I open an application - and sometimes opens on the TV instead of my main screen.   When this happen the process of moving from the app to my main screen becomes much longer:

  0.) turn on/off TV so that it displays input from the PC instead of the game of football.

  1.) 2) 3.) top

  4.) TV to switch to the football game.

  When I have to go through this process in 5 steps, it takes 102 seconds (Yes, I've timed it) where it should be a simple matter of using a keyboard shortcut or simply right click on the taskbar icon and say things to move it to the other monitor.

  One would think would improve with each generation of Windows multi-monitor support, but I think it has reached a peak with Windows 2000 and my old Matrox cards and has been downhill since then.   And nothing of what Microsoft has done compared to multi-monitor support, I loved it in OS/2 3 and 4.

  (1) do not switch unmaximized until you can drag. You can do it simply, even if it's already maximized.  Try it.  It works on Windows 7 +.

  (2) you can also use a keyboard shortcut, such as +arrow to line up on the side, or +SHIFT + arrow to send to the next screen.

  I could go on.  Everything what you asked above already exists, you did not.

  Hi, I had been using windows 8 for over a month and that you have installed a * a lot of apps on the store. Now, I have to create a separate account from microsoft on the same PC. After having created, I find no way to use apps from windows of the older account store. And, certainly, I don't want to re-download applications for use on the new account. • sharing applications between mac and ipad pro

  When I double click on my iPad Pro, I saw a grey bar at the bottom which had Safari - of "of Howard Brazee computer.   When I opened it, Safari came with a web page, that I looked earlier today on Chrome.    I went to my Mac and saw that a Chrome icon left of the Doc, in the image of an iPad on it.  My cursor on it, I see that it says "Google Chrome - for iPad".

  I closed the app on my iPad Pro and started Safari on my Mac.  Then I repeated the double click and selected the iPad Pro.   It opened Safari with the previous tab and with this tab here (I'm in Chrome).    I tried to open some other applications forward on my Mac.   If it comes to mail, my iPad is going to open a mail but not find anything (I don't get mail on my iDevices).   I tried Photos and TextEdit and iBooks, but they did not speak with each other (and Safari appear on my iPad gray bar until I moved the focus to Chrome).   So I googled to find out how it works without success.   Is there a tutorial somewhere that explains what is happening here?

  ROWNUM is dependent on execution (except BY the ORDER IS USED) plan, so your query might return a different set of lines the next time run you it even if the data has not changed:

• Restore the Essbase Application between servers

  I am here with something new because we have 2 servers different essbase in both machines. I copied the machine1 app folder that has a server instance essbase 1 and glued to the computer2 that has an instance of essbase Server 2.

  2 copied the app folder on the new machine with essbase Server 2
  3. restart the service
  
  Please let me know if I need to change the name of the server anywhere.

  Don't do it this way, add two servers in EA, and then copy the application overall through the Regional service.
  You must also export the data from the source dbs and then import the data into the target dbs.

• Moving applications between BQY in Hyperion?

  We create the query even within multiple BQY. This query is very complex and I was wondering if there is a way to "import" this query to the other BQY using Optimizer. IR, or some other program? We currently have a little copy the BQY and delete other queries. It seems tedious to me. Any information you can give me would be appreciated.

  Take a look at the Dashboard Studio that is installed with IR it has options to merge and import.  I use the Merge option quite often as you specify.

• GPS differences between CDMA carriers

  What I was asking is if a standalone GPS based on demand for a CDMA device (for example, the 8330 and 8830) is portable between carriers? Or are there other parameters I should know beyond what is detailed in the best practices for the design of the GPS for BlackBerry smartphones apps running on CDMA Networks and TheBlackBerry models of smartphone and their corresponding GPS capabilities.

  (I.e. If I tested on a Sprint 8830 application, that application will work even on a Telus 8830?)

  Some of my experiences, the answer is no, but I'm not finding anything more detailed than the two articles I mentioned above.

  I know CDMA operators have some quite detailed rules on setting up their phones, although I thought the GPS section was pretty basic (i.e. they can toggle various methods of location and dictate the PDE, IP and Port transport). Is there that other developers of parameters specific carrier should be aware of?

  The specific problem I've seen is with Sprint, basically, if GPS download interrupted for some time signals (e.g. driving under a bridge), we stop to get updates of location. The weird part is that we do not see it with the same device (or at least similar) on other networks.

  POE info is not stored anywhere that is accessible to a Java program, as far as I KNOW.

• Shortcut keyboard/shortcuts for switching between monitors - GeForce 8800 M GTX?

  I have a portable XPS1730 with card Dual 512 MB GeForce 8800 M GTX running on Vista SP1 32 and I was wondering if there is a way to set up a keyboard shortcut to move applications between the laptop screen and my second monitor (a 24 '' Dell). It's a real pain to them lying around all the time.

  I have an ATI card on another machine and configuration Ctrl-Alt-1 and Ctrl-Alt-2 to the application monitor 1 or 2 and it's really convenient. I guess the next best thing to having a keyboard shortcut would be to have some sort of control in the title bar of each window to do it-supported ATI card that also.

  The NVidia Control Panel seems to have limited functionality, unless I'm missing something?

• Development of switching between desktop App

  Hey All-

  I was stuck on what seems like a simple question. I can't find a clear answer here.

  Switching between apps in different offices.

  Example:

  You will need to tilt back a lot between Safari and Photoshop.

  Each application is the only application open.

  Work in office 1 with Safari.

  Working in the office with Photoshop 3.

  I use the command + Tab.

  Working in Safari (and vice versa): using command-Tab it shows in the Menu bar which is Photoshop. But the development of the app screen does not switch on Photoshop in Desktop 3. It remains on Safari.

  This occurs with any application between desktops.

  Any help is appreciated. Thank you!

  In preferences-> Mission control system you have the option "when passing to an application, switch to a space with windows open to the application" license?

  We have two permissions in our app (read_cellular_data and access_uicc_carrier_restricted) that Momentics identifies as "not valid for 10.3.1 API. Before removing, I understand include:

  • What exactly they defined as they were valid (for previous levels of API)?
  • Authorities who have replaced their?
  • If there is no replacement, can these permissions safely raye bar - descriptor.xml?

  Momentics has been updated to give warnings about permissions, it does not recognize.  There are access_led_control, but looks like it is not respected.

  read_cellular_data and access_uicc_carrier_restricted are not public authorities, so what is expected.  Those that are only used by certain applications preloaded carrier and require special permission from the carrier.

  In summary, to ignore these warnings, if you are using a valid authorization.

• Running application

  My blackberry application between the dispatcher of events such as Application. Thus, when the user clicks on the icon (for the first time) it pushes screens and after which prays for the background and working on some events.

  Now if the user clicks on the icon of the app again (from the Ribbon of demand), nothing happens that the application is already running. Is there a way I can get into the application again on that click? Pls. Let me know because I would push some screens again for the user to change their preferences.

• Get Windows Store to forget my old applications

  When I'm looking for an application to perform a certain task there is a lot of choice on the Windows Store.  It's a good thing, but you know not the good apps and the bad ones until you try all of them, find the one that works best for you and keep while ignoring others.  However, even if you uninstall the "bad guys" I keep getting undermined with notifications of updates to them in my app Store on my machine Windows 8.  When I go to the store I can list all the apps that I never installed at a certain point I the past, even if they are not installed now.  I don't really need or want to see them, let along be notified of updates to them.

  How can I change my preferences app so that I can delete apps from my profile I want nothing to do with?  All I want in my profile are the apps that I use and you want, not the ones I don't want.

  'S done it on purpose in Windows8... have a list available of each application that you have installed with your Msft account is useful if for example you paid for an application and it is subsequently removed from the Store, in the "apps" section, you will be able to reinstall more removed from the applications list even if they are not in the store more

  Thus a list of installed applications is stored so that if you logged onto a new PC of Win8 using your Microsoft account all your apps will automatically install (and your application settings carry on) most of the Sync data is stored in SkyDrive

  Here is a page which allows you to remove the synchronization did not have data of your account of Msft (this clears Installed apps, settings app, wallpapers etc, things that you can take over by connecting to a new system of Win8)

  I don't know if this will also erase your App ads as wel (I doubt it, I think that the Windows store data is stored elsewhere)

  Also, keep in mind that Win8.1 is expected in about a month (17 Oct) and Windows store has been completely redesigned, I think I heard somewhere that you can remove listed apps (although I could be wrong here)

  If you uninstall an unwanted app (not only away from the splash screen) you should not receive Notifications to update these applications... I never got such a notification, and I try a LOT of applications. You have all updates applied to your PC Windows? (Windows updates not the app updates). If you receive notifications for uninstalled apps is not a behavior normal but if you're talking about Bing, finance, Sports, travel news App... it is currently a problem the Bank of Windows that always will inform you of updates of these applications (even if you uninstalled)

  FDM has its own upgrade utility.
