Your graphics card is not listed in the file 'cuda_supported_cards.txt '? There are entries for the Quadro 5000 and 5000 M but not the K5000. Then you may need to edit this file to include your graphics card and then first will recognize the card and allow you to select in the renderer: drop-down menu.

Normally, that's how it works. Use Excel formatting is not grayed out.

    Anyone know what causes this?

Thank you very much in advance,

This occurs when you are connected to a form of planning, Smart View uses cell for the only formatting styles, but you can still activate thousands separator, but also other formatting options.  If you are an Ad - Hoc connection, you should see the options re-enabled.

  • Impossible to customize the taskbar, grayed out notification options

    Hey,.

I have a problem with my taskbar and I need help.  I feel really uncomfortable messing around with registry keys and others, but I think that's how this problem was posed on Vista.  Can someone help me?

After one of the updated Windows Update, my volume icon disappeared from the task bar and I had to uninstall the drivers.  Windows reinstalled the drivers, and the icon was back.  During this operation, however, I noticed that I was not able to customize the taskbar, because all the options are greyed out and I couldn't change the settings.  In addition, the wireless icon passed useful for wireless connection to a useless fork/tv screen with an 'x' graphic below (although wireless remains the same).  If someone could guide me through this, I would be grateful.  I'm not much more with computers and that any Vista upgrade to Windows 7 has been boring.  My computer used to run fine, but now it is slower to start and to run programs.  If someone had additional help on this subject, it would be a much appreciated bonus.

  • The Volume control icon is not displayed in the Notification area of the taskbar. The settings in the property window button has grayed out Volume option.

This has happened several times randomly.  Also, it is the case for setting power and network options. Several times the parameters
become operational, to restart windows.  But this time the Volume adjustment control screen remains dimmed out and correlatively
    the icon is not, either.
Mine is windows Vista Home Premium edition.

When I try to save my pages / tabs, I can not, because this option is grayed out. I even uninstalled FF with Revo Uninstaller completely reinstalled without new plugins or extensions, and it remains greyed out. The only thing I can do is pin the tabs, but I wish to use this option. If I can't, I don't know whether its Firefox or malware or? Thanks in advance for any help. Thank you very much for your time and effort. It was not the solution, but I couldn't find a place to close the ticket/request. WinXP Win7 upgrade options

I had a HP machine with xp that has failed. Bought a full blown and installed on a new PC win7 os. I still have another machine hp with xp on it. Because I bought a full version of 7, I buy a license and install the win7 os or I have to buy another drive for an upgrade to another machine?

Product keys are not sold without installation media.

Don't buy product keys for sites that sell just a product key - they are not authentic.

You can buy Windows 7 Upgrade here (or at a local store):

    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/cat/CategoryID.44066700

There is no discount on a second license of Windows 7 If you already have a Windows 7 license.

  • Missing Media sync option

When you plug the Pre via a USB port, you are supposed to get 3 options: Charge Only, USB and Media Sync. I had Media Sync option, but now he's gone.

I've been playing around with Media Monkey late last night (I was tired, so I don't remember what I did), but I don't see how that could have made me lose this option, because I had that option before I even installed MM.

Any ideas on how to recover this option?

    Thank you in advance.

From the Launcher, open Device Info. Open the top menu on the left ('Preferences') and click on 'enable media sync '. Alto!

  • Cannot view thumbnails in the Explorer in Win7

Machine: new Toshiba P500 with Intel i7 and Ultimate 64 bit of Windows 7 home

Move my files on the machine and I noticed that not all my files showed the photos properly.  Word documents and Excel as well as photos and videos in all folders display photos properly for medium, Large and Extra Large icons settings.  At the same time, the icon is displayed instead of the thumbnail for all Adobe PDF files.  I have Adobe Reader 10.0 installed.

Note: the last time I met this problem was on a Windows Vista-based computer after a Windows Update (I think it's an update of .NET) has been installed.  I solved the problem by uninstalling the update and test install to hide.

As an additional note. I made sure the "tools > Options > view > always show icons, never thumbnails" is not checked.

    Thanks in advance

    Greetings,

There is another parameter useful to take a look at.

    Try this:

Click on, start > Control Panel > system > top left on System Advanced Page Settings, click, > Advanced tab, performance, click Settings > highlight: show thumbnails instead of icons

    Is it verified?

  • Conflicting options for computer wake up do not allow for WOL work.

I try to get WOL to work and will have a lot of questions.  I checked the WOL packets receive at my PC and will wake the computer, but with these settings enabled, my PC wake up too often. Using Wireshark I identified packages that LLMNR and normal of the ARP requests are waking up the computer. I have scoured the internet looking for a solution but have had no success.

MY MAIN PROBLEM AND THE ISSUE IS WITH THE POWER MANAGEMENT OPTIONS. When the box "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" is not selected, it is gray on the option "allow this device to wake the computer". Therefore, the only way to allow packets wake up the computer is to allow the computer turn off the network adapter. IT SEEMS INHERENTLY CONTRADICTORY, because what is happening now is that shortly after the computer goes to sleep, the computer disables the network adapter, which then makes using WOL impossible. Is there a solution to this? WOL is an extremely important element for me and its current inability to function that makes me come back to Windows as my OS choice, although in truth it might not run on another platform either. Any help would be appreciated.

  • Windows 8.1 power guard reset Option

I made a custom power option for my ASUS tablet. However, each time I have to stop and then restart the computer it resets to the default symmetric. Any ideas?

    Hi Greg,.

Thanks for posting your query in Microsoft Community.

Before you continue with the troubleshooting steps, I wish that you answer the following questions in order to limit the problem and provide you with better assistance.

    1. You did it any significant hardware or change software on the computer before this problem?
    2. You get the error message?
    3. Do you have updated all the drivers for your hardware recently?

This problem could arise from the incorrect power plan settings, corrupted drivers or a conflict due to third-party software. To resolve this problem, I would suggest trying the following methods and check if the problem persists.

    Method 1:

Run the troubleshooting of power and check if it helps.

    a. press Windows + W on the keyboard.

    b. type Troubleshooting in the 'search' tab, and press ENTER.

    c. click show all on the left panel.

    d. click Power, will new popup window.

    e. follow the instructions on the screen.

If the problem persists, try the following method.

Method 2: Please check the boot if the issue is due to any third party software.

Please see the link to place the computer in a clean boot.

  • Windows 8 could not start - no boot device - no Options

I have a Gateway computer in 2013 without a disk provided with 8 preinstalled windows drive. I did a full system recovery less then a week ago and you have not done something with windows since. I turned on my computer today to a reading "windows failed to load" error screen then I rebooted and that you haven't even spent the front door after twenty minutes of waiting. The next reboot a few was a frustrating mix of bridge and eventually achieve a black screen with a small white line in the corner, and then never do anything. Finally I made it to an option screen that told me to use the arrow keys to select an option. But there is no options. None. I pressed on the top and down arrows. Nothing. I pressed on enter. Nothing. Finally I pressed ESC received another message, I need to insert my windows installation disc. Where, I ask, am I supposed to put this drive?  I pressed on enter and led to a black screen where the only key that did anything at first was esc where I only got the error, no boot device - please reboot system. Then I pressed on enter and esc a few times before you restart and repeat the process with the same results.

I wonder if anyone has a solution. Please, any help would be appreciated. I also told him really as far as I know on this computer, I don't know much about them, so I don't think I can answer anything about the hardware.

You the computer tells you that it cannot find a device that has OS loaded on this subject. This normally means that the hard drive has gone wrong. First thing is to run the diagnostic on it. When you press the power button start tapping on the F button for your computer and BIOS menu will open. Select diagnostics if you have one and test it to find errors. Not all system equipped with diagnostic in the BIOS. If the hard drive breaks down or he says that you don't have a hard drive, then you need to get a new one and order the DVD of recovery of the manufacturer. If everything goes, looks like the BONE is damaged. If you have a CD or DVD to install Windows repair system, boot from the CD/DVD and run the repair of it. You will have access to the boot device options in the BIOS to make it boot from the CD/DVD. If you do not have a CD repair system, you can make one from a computer that has the same OS as yours. If that does not fix it then your probably going to have to reload your OS back operational. You will need to recover your data and files before you do this. If you want to try to recover your files click on the link below and read about how to download and use a Linux Live CD to the system startup to retrieve what you want. If you have a computer of Windows 8, then you must disable secure boot using the CD. The Live CD you will also see the rest of the computer.

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-v...

Once you got what you need, you can reload your operating system.

Try the advanced startup options. When you press the power button, start typing the F8 key. You will see the early startup menu. Select repair your computer. Select your language and enter your user name and password. Click (brand name) then next and factory Image Restore. Answer the question and it should start the recovery back to the factory settings.

If you can not access the advance startup options and then try to recover from the recovery partition.

When you press the power button start tapping on the F button for your computer and BIOS menu opens, select the recovery mode. This will reset your computer back to factory settings.

    F1 = system information

    F2 = System Diagnostics

    F9 = Boot Device options
