. MPG video playback issues.

When. MPG video files are played using photo library or Movie Maker (Vista Ultimate), they show on the monitor that intermittently in green, partially green, and as it should be (as they were filmed). These same files fine playback using Media Player. It is a new problem, as I've used. MPG files to create movies in the past.
All files with. AVI extension will work perfectly, no matter what application I use to view.
I tried to turn off each (and all) filters in Movie Maker.
I removed all the old. MPG files and created using film projects. MPG files from my computer.
I checked for corrupted files by SFC scan - according to the instructions I found on this site.
None of the above had no effect on playing these clips.
I'd appreciate any help I can get on this problem.

When I tried to reduce the graphic hardware acceleration according to the instructions above, I received the following message when I open the Troubleshooting tab: "your current display driver does not allow changes need to be made to hardware acceleration settings.
Can I get around this? If so, how? In addition, if the hardware graphic acceleration setting improve this problem, how I reinstall or update my video driver?

  • Video playback issues

    I have a HP Pavilion 15 laptop, 64-bit, windows8.1, i7, intel hd graphics 4400, Geforce gt 740 m.

The problem is that while watching online video (youtube) by web browsers, initially the video plays smooth, but after a few seconds, the video pauses a moment and then continue to play, but video is freezing while the sound works fine, then it stops completely. I have a smooth Internet connectivity, I have checked all the reader flash in browsers, drivers are updated, except for the Intel HD graphics card, the current version is 10.18.10.3304, while the latest version is 15.33.18.64.3496 (10.18.10.3496) 140 MB, after downloading and running, it is said that my OS does not, (the driver is automatically identify and find). So what is the solution for this kind of problem? Thank you...

    Hello

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

I understand that the computer is left behind when the streaming videos. There could be a few different factors affecting this. I would like to start troubleshooting by reinstalling the graphics drivers. This document will provide instructions on how to do: download or update of software and drivers for HP computers

Please try this and let me know what happens. Also, try streaming across all browsers (Internet Explorer, Firefox and Google Chrome) and see if that makes a difference. Thank you!

  • Palm Pre Video Playback issue

I tried to convert the AVI to MP4 videos so that I could use on my palm. I used a converter called red Kava (I know it sounds like fruit). It has a converter that is just for the palm pre and returns to the correct resolution and the report l / h. When I play the files converted on my computer, they are correct and in the right proportions and all, but when I play on my palm they are streached from top to bottom. The button on the screen which is for full screen or something does nothing for the videos. Youtube videos work perfectly with the correct proportions.

P.S. It's a real pain that the pre does not work with 64-bit operating systems.

Nevermind that I fixed it using another converter.

  • Video playback issue with the latest version of Flash Player

I use an old version of JWplayer "5.10.2295" in a large number of sites and it worked very well so far. Since the last version of Flash Player is released the videos cannot be played a second time on any browser on Windows. It works fine for me on Mac - quickly tested in Firefox (every night) and Safari (latest stable).

Back to a previous version showed that everything was working fine before. I tried the last 13 and 14 of the archived Flash Player versions

This kind of question has already been reported? Any change in the upcoming beta that could solve this problem?

This was bugs me because it was so weird.  I thought he must be a real problem.

I finally understood what I was doing wrong in trying to replicate that.  The bug is in fact linked to looking.  If you leave the game at the end, you don't hit this bug.

I filed this bug in your name and sent through to the engineering team:

  • Drag the video playback issues

Sometimes the slide video will stutter and display the word "loading" on the screen. He usually picks up self after about 3-4 stutters. It's quite boring for us, developers and for the customer. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

It is more a question of bandwidth a matter of Captivate.

What flow rate reading made you video?  If you created the video in order to demand a continuous strip of 300 kilobits per second, but the bandwidth available to the location of the video file is only 250 Kbps, then you're going to get buffering.

Bandwidth is a constant problem for video content.  You should err on the side of caution when you design your content and allow pipes less than optimal.

  • Flash crashing and video playback/Streaming problems

Recently did a reinstall of Windows 7 and have experienced problems with Flash and video playback in general. Questions may or may not be related. I have not detected problems with the opera and so I think that these are problems of Firefox. 3 major video sites that I use are (HTML 5 player) YouTube, twitch.tvand Crunchyroll.

    (1) flash very quickly and systematically accidents

       * Specifically noted when viewing streams on twitch.tv
       * Often crashes within a minute, almost certainly within a few minutes
       * Crash logs provided below

    (2) reading crashes

       * Occurs on all 3 sites
       * On twitch, stream freezes (but Flash does not crash). On YouTube, loading circle comes up and video freezes
       * If this occurs on twitch, Flash less likely to officially crash

    (3) volume cuts

       * Occurs on all 3 sites
       * If this occurs on twitch, Flash may still crash after
       * I've had volume issues with my system in general, with volume occasionally cutting in gaming programs, such as League of Legends and Hearthstone. That being said, I do not experience this issue with Opera and this only occurs on video playback in Firefox.

    Attempts at Solutions:

       * Disabled hardware acceleration in Flash
       * Reinstalled/Updated Flash and (I think) made sure there is only one version of Flash
       * Reinstalled/Updated Firefox
       * Cleared cookies/cache/other stored web data
       * Updated all drivers

I wouldn't stop using Firefox as my preferred browser and works fine on all my other devices, but if the problem persists, I'll have to. Any help or insight is appreciated!

Unfortunately, I have tried all fixes of cor - el without success.

However, I started to use audio drivers Realtek instead of Microsoft and everything seems to work more smooth. Will update later when I did several tests.

  • ProBook 450 G1: Question of Probook of video playback in G1 of the 450 after upgrade to Windows 10

    Hello.

Issues (stop, shaking in the video and sound) are multiply video playback after upgrade Windows 8.1 for Windows 10.

    Questions for:

    -Playback (avi, mkv, mp4 etc.) VMP Movies & TV AND;

    -Playback of video from Youtube by Edge and IE11;

    -Video playback in games.

NO problem all does to (workaround):

-Reading of files (avi, mkv, mp4 etc) by VLC player.

-Video playback from Youtube through Firefox.

Not any way to workaround that emit in the games: its integrated use of resources of the browser.

VLC uses own video codecs, so I think that this emission source is possibly in embedded Windows 10 codecs?

    Drivers:

Intel SoftPaq Download Manager Video drivers (latest for Windows 10: technical support site the same as at HP).

AMD drivers for Widnows 10 SoftPaq Download Manager (the same that at HP supports the site) is buggy and causes crash (the "internal power error"). If Catalyst drivers from AMD (latest from Windows 10) site.

Additional drivers, also upgraded for Windows 10 (via the SDM for Windows-10): chipset keeps drivers, WiFi, 3D etc.

    Any ideas?

Problem has been resolved by unistalling HD Audio drivers (installed on Windows 8.1 early HP).

After the reboot, the drivers HD Audio was automatically installed and then updated via Windows Update.

Video playback is now correct through no fault inside any software (IE, edge, WMP etc.).

  • Sound and image's market during video playback by electronic mail.

Sound and image's market during video playback by electronic mail. (IE, trailer attached, you tube)

    Hello

    1. How do you access the email? Using any email or via an Internet browser client?
    2. If you are using Internet explorer, which version is installed on your computer?

    Method 1.
Given that most online videos require Adobe flash to work I suggest you install Adobe Flash player in Internet Explorer.

I recommend you update Adobe flash player from the website below:
    http://get.Adobe.com/flashplayer/

    Method 2.
    a. If the problem persists, you can optimize Internet Explorer.
See the link below for more information.
    How to optimize Internet Explorer?
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/936213

    b. If nothing works to solve the issue try reset Internet Explorer.
    How to reset Internet explorer:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/923737
Note: After resetting Internet explorer you will need to install Java runtime library and Adobe flash again.
    WARNING:
Please note that reset the settings of Internet Explorer running resets all of the settings defined by the user, including those established by the installed extensions, toolbars and other add-ons for IE by default. This includes all the security, privacy and settings area. Also this will erase browsing history, delete all temporary Internet, cookies, form data files and especially all the passwords.

  • Windows Experience Index problem: could not measure the performance of video playback

My pc is not yet rated. When I click on rate appears on this computer, a msg error saying that Windows Experience Index for your system could not be calculated, could not measure the PERFORMANCE of VIDEO PLAYBACK. What should I do. Help, please

    Hello

Here are a few things to check before launching performance index Windows (WEI).

    • Quit all running programs, and restart the computer before running the assessment (WEI).
    • Check with the manufacturer of the computer or the motherboard manufacturer for BIOS updates.
    • Make sure you have the latest Windows 7 compatible drivers for the graphics device installed (video card).
    • If you have any third-party media players installed, uninstall them until the end of the evaluation of the WEI.
    • If you have installed any third-party Media Codecs, try to uninstall them until the end of the evaluation of the WEI.

Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder C:\WINDOWS\Performance\WinSAT .

You should see the following 8 videos.

    2 files with .mp4 extension.

3 files with the .mpg file extension.

3 files with .wmv file extension.

Double-click each of these files. They should open and play in Windows Media Player. These are the files that WEI runs video performance.

One thing to remember is that the WEI score is only an indicator of the ability of the main components of hardware on the computer. It has no effect on the performance of the system.

    Tell us what you find.

The IFE can be used to show what part of the system should provide the largest increase in performance when it is upgraded. For example, a computer with the lower under-score in his memory, would benefit more than an upgrade of RAM to add a faster hard drive (or any other component).

  • Choppy video playback in Windows Media Center (Windows 7) WTV

I recently experienced a video playback jerky with windows media center.  Sometimes the recorded TV (WTV format) play very well for about 2-3 minutes until the video playback is very jerky (probably about 5 to 10 frames per second instead of the usual 30-60 fps).  The audio is not again normally.  Windows Movie maker also plays choppy video (Windows Media Player seems to work very well).  The main menu of Windows Media Center, itself becomes generally restless slow when I'm scrolling autour options, even when there is no video game in the background.  Video streaming on the Internet and DVD seems to play fine on Windows Media Center, and I can even stream HD video without problem.  I also know that this isn't a problem receiving the TV tuner since I test with the video recorded previously.  I bought my computer in June 2009 with Windows Vista and upgrade to Windows 7 a few months later.  Everything worked perfectly well until recently.

I tried to update my video card drivers, reallocation of Windows Media Center to a task of "high priority" to improve performance, the RAM Cache to improve the performance, my graphics card setting to low quality setting to have superior performance to compensation.  I even tried to reinstall Windows Media Center, reinstall Windows Media Player and the restoration of my entire computer to a State a few months in the past where the problem was not intervened.  The memory usage seems OK too (I have 6 GB).  Basically, I don't think that the issue is performance related.  I'm guessing that there is some little conflict, pilot program, codec, etc., which is originally the video playback to go bad after a few minutes.  Any thoughts?

For what it's worth, I was faced with the problem of stuttering for always (continuously from a WHS for a HP Media Center Extender) and had tried all of the recommended patches (updates driver, network card settings tweaking, etc..)  Nothing helps.  Last week my router died (Netgear WNDR3700, who was the State of the art when I bought it a year ago).  I replaced it with an old but unboxed Linksys WRT320N and stuttering all my problems disappeared.
