  Reinstall the drivers for DVD player and check.

  1. click on start > run

  You see a message like this:

  If you work on a scheduled task:

  KB904423 is already in SP3, if you have SP3, you do not need to apply that KB (which is not the problem).

  If you work on a scheduled task, I don't think that the problem is how you are connected or has something to do with an antivirus program interferes, but you could try these things (but I don't think they will help).

  I encountered a problem with a 'runaway' in first Pro CS5.5 timeline - not always, but often enough. Once playback begins, nothing less than restarting the computer can stop it.  I don't know if this is a bug that needs fixing or something else.  I'm a recent Mac / FCP7 switcher to a range of Adobe products.

  My machine is a chip of quad core i7 Sandy Bridge on Windows 7 with 16 GB of RAM.  I do not have an Nvidia card in the system.  I'm under Premiere Pro 5.5 using a timeline multicam with Cineform Neo clips in 1080 p (four angles of the camera).  The initial "live edit" of the multicam went well, and I'm now trying to go back and refine the exact changes.  Play movie multicam to check program changes resulted in three 'lock up' where nothing will stop playback (audio and video), not the space bar, mouse, ESC, nothing.  The mouse moves always normally, but none of the buttons in Premiere Pro 'click '.  Interestingly, I can open other programs, and the hit restart the computer, but the chronology continues to play.  All clips are converted to Cineform Neo to 1080 p.  The computer shows 56% used CPU and about 45% of the RAM.

  I do not have which would apply other info - no other applications are open when this happens and none was open before this (boot clean with first being the first and the only program to operate).

  If anyone has any suggestions on how to correct or avoid this problem, I would be very grateful.

  I'm still getting used to from Windows, Macs and Final Cut Pro (may he rest in peace).  I guess that I expect that some sort of notification when updates were available.

  The long story short, I used version 5.5.0 first and set to update to the latest version at the suggestion of Jake Seagraves above to Cineform - and I have not had the problem again.  If you have not had the opportunity to work with the guys from Cineform, they are great to work with and very responsive.  And in my humble opinion, Cineform is one of the best codecs for first mastering.

  In all cases, you can mark it as resolved.  I'll just have to remember to manually search for updates once in a while.

BTW, it's only the TL that gets the Doggy, the program seems very well by other means. Room 10 minutes, multiple clips and effects...

  think I should remove the blog post or make it more apparent that it is only for testing purposes. ADF faces does not support compatibility mode IE in production because of known issues in Internet Explorer. So if you can use the solution that I've documented to install a newer version of Internet Explorer while developing even for an older version, it is not supported when running. In your case, use native IE9 (or install IE8 and use native) and run it with a version of JDeveloper which is certified for the version of the browser.

  Anything by showing different in native IE9 that in IE 8 native (using a version of JDeveloper certified for IE9) then can be considered as a bug

  Something seems to be "keep the HP machine backward," as its CPU usage never exceeds 10%; other machines enter the area of 50% CPU usage when running this program.

  It seems to me that the HP is not allowed to use its full capabilities for some reason any.

  You have posted a question of Windows XP to a group of win7?

  Assuming that it is a desktop computer turn off / shut off the current, open your case and verify / reconnect the cables to the cd

  And at the end of the day, maybe your cd/dvd has not, I suppose that any other err devices listed in Device Manager?
